She is at a great location, and between the light from the big front windows and the way that Kim has set up her shop, it is cozy beyond belief. I am sensitive to fragrances, which is why I gravitate toward Kim's handmade soap, and the scent in her store is just present enough to make you want to buy every thing there. The walls are painted a beautiful 50s sea foam, and with the old fashioned tub and the vintage General Electric steel refrigerator door on the wall, it gave such a funky feel to the kitchen and bath goods she has on display. Handmade pillows, coosies, pot holders, ceramics, and of course, SOAPS! I was there to put some of my crafted goods on consignment, and I bought two giant bath bombs for girlfriends I was meeting later. They were scented in Cool Cucumber and Tangerine, and both smelled amazing and sent my friends over the moon. I have been a fan of Stella Marie since I moved to Rhode Island more than 4 years ago. I have since bought several products from Stella Marie and have liked all of them. I really like the soap in the pumpkin and cranberry flavors. The body scrub in mango is great - smells good, gives your skin a good 'polish', leaves your skin feeling smooth. Highly recommend. Also, I'm very picky about soap/body products (sensitive skin) and I haven't had any problems with Stella Marie's products.
