Every month I have an issue with getting my prescriptions filled. I called on 4/15/25 and spoke WITH AN ACTUAL PHARMACIST, gave him my prescription number. He said the prescription was filled and ready to be picked up. I stopped at 9:30 am on 4/16/25 and was told they just received the prescription this morning and it wasn't ready. I have a meeting at 10:30 and need my meds prior to my meeting. I am most definitely not using Walgreens anymore!!!!! read more

Cashier was so rude. My 11 year old took a toy up to the register and said "can I check the price on this?" And the cashier was like "please!?" And then my daughter then re asked the question adding th please she was demanding. In no way was my child rude. I then even called and asked to speak to a manager and the person who answered said "*sigh -- this is the manager on the phone. Do you need help or not". Not the best service for the pharmacy department. I'm not one to leave a bad review but this place was just terrible. Long lines, slow workers, and there was one point where there was no one at the pharmacy desk for at least 15 minutes. The lines just kept getting bigger and bigger and there were no signs in site as to where the workers were. I feel like they are grossly understaffed and could use more pharmacy technicians. I'm sure that would solve a lot of the issues I mentioned. I waited there for 15 mins to see if my medications were sent over - still no meds yet. Still more waiting. I came straight from work at the hospital and I usually don't bring my credit card to the hospital for safety purposes and because I rarely need to buy anything. However, as soon as I was about to pay for my medication that was finally filled (with a pic of the card info sent by my husband) the tech stated I had to bring my physical credit card in even though I had all the details of my card. I know there are ways to enter in my card info manually because it has been done before. I'm not sure if the pharmacy tech was just not wanting to try or just didn't care. It's possible it was for safety but the worker didn't even check my ID - and she could have to verify the credit card picture I had on hand, but didn't. Regardless, since they weren't able to ring up my card information manually, I asked if I could have the meds sent to another pharmacy closer to my home. The tech said yes if I asked my doctor but I didn't confirm that I would be leaving to get the meds switched to a different pharmacy. I waited in the waiting area on the phone with the urgent Care and was on hold for too long with them so I gave up. Meanwhile, the line kept getting longer. Still, I waited there and had to wait even longer for my husband to get there so I could just get my meds from this Walgreens with the card he was bringing from home and get it over with. When I finally went to pay the worker told me she had thrown out my meds and we had to start over since I "said I was going to switch my meds to another pharmacy" even though she saw me waiting in the waiting area and I had never left since the urgent Care didn't answer their phone. TL;DR: don't come to their pharmacy if you don't want to waste an hour of your life like I did. read more

I was told by a nearby Walgreens to go here to get passport photos taken because their camera was broken. Got here and they have signage and web advertising that they do the photos. The employee told me they aren't doing them anymore. ‍ read more

Got into the drive thru to get Allegra D and ended up having to wait in line for 30 min. Finally got to the window for them to tell me I had to go inside. The lady just didn't want to put in the effort. This place is a joke. So glad we don't get our prescriptions with them. Note to drivers who want to use the drive thru for that stuff, just go in. These people are a nightmare to deal with. read more

This Walgreen's is convenient for me when I'm in Bloomington, so I stop in to grab things that I need. The staff are helpful and friendly and the store is clean and organized. Watch out for senior citizens when entering and exiting. read more

I always go into a Walgreens with one or two things on my list. And I always end up with more (and always costs $40 - no idea why). This was an average Walgreens in terms of set, layout and inventory. I found more than I wanted and hit the checkout line. The cashier insisted on speaking "Like Shakespeare," which was... I don't know how to feel about that experience. Cool, I suppose - but maybe more embarrassed for him. After all, his Elizabethan English vernacular was lacking, much like the iambic pentameter. I needed my medication but didn't have the money to pay for it. I used a coupon, from on-line as well as an RX card. The young man, in the pharmacy, was very kind and helped me by checking both of them to see which one would be the cheapest for me. It turned out the RX card gave me the best price, and was what I could afford. This was right around the time before they closed. I didn't feel like I was being hurried. I was so happy. I, finally, had my meds, after being without for days, and it only took about 15 minutes to fill them. They will text you when your meds are ready. That is the only complaint my husband has as they text quite often until you pick it up. I have found some great bargains at this store and the staff always want to help and are friendly. Finally, it is always clean and well stocked. read more

Still 1 star- but I'd give them zero. Went in for one SINGLE prescription. Two people in line including myself. The THREE people behind the counter working didn't bother to assist. Kept on with whatever they were doing. Didn't bother to say, "i will be with you in a few minutes". Finally after more than 10 minutes of waiting ONE of them came up and server the individual in front of me and then myself. By this point there were four more people in line. How ridiculous to have to wait 15 minutes or more to pick up one single prescription that was already filled. If this was a one off situation I wouldn't be as concerned but the fact that this Walgreen's pharmacy has consistently had issues with mixing up prescriptions, not serving patrons in a timely manner, etc. it's hard to be understanding. read more

They sent the store detective to follow me because I browsed around too long haha. Then a Mgr stared at me and asked to help. Check out the huge mirrors-vee are vatching you. Here's the quick and short of it. I was roving certain locations to see if they still have some products I'm having trouble finding at Walgreen's in general. I got sidetracked and was squatting around the aisles looking at some unusual candy pieces, when I stood an employee walked over to peek at me and then shot back. I went back to the men's shaving products and was trying to get an idea on how things are priced. At that time a frumpy man in his mid-forties came and stood no more than five feet from me and appeared to be watching me out of the corner of his eye as he certainly was faking product inspection. I walked over to the next aisle just for kicks and giggles and looked at ladies hair products. YEP! Dude came over and pretended to look at the same products too.. ha ha caught you Store Dick! Bad disguise as an 'Average Joe', like a low budget film. I shot back over to the candy section, because I'm having fun now. I also noticed the back wall is entirely mirrored and is about a half story higher than the where the ceiling ought to be. Two Way? You bet I'm sure. While in the aisle I touched things and looked around and a man in a white shirt with a 'Manager' label suddenly appeared and asked if I needed help. "Nope". I bought two items and checked out and the clerk asked if I found everything ok. I was almost laughing as I told her "you have a very secure store". read more

It's hit or miss here , mostly miss. I get my prescriptions filled here. They have messes up a couple times. That is not good at all! I have also had some very rude service, particularly one woman in general. I really should change who I use. Once my Mom was there while there was an armed robbery. Just not very safe. read more

This place is terrible. The clerk checking out took a phone call while i was waiting. He then proceeded to take out his drivers license from his wallet. Apparently he needed to take care of personal business while he had a line full of customers. I was able to pay while he was on the phone. From their lack of pharmacy attendance to the incorrect address on their window this place is just a let down. I was going to switch pharmacies without giving this place a bad review because it's usually just not something I do but I tried to transfer all of my prescriptions to another Walgreens and they only gave them 2 then told me they were going to send the other 4 back so I had to go an hour out of my way to get meds even though I would have been in the area tomorrow they wouldn't keep them. read more

AVOID THIS WALGREENS AT ALL COSTS IF YOU NEED A PRESCRIPTION - Even if this is your closest location, make the drive to any other Walgreens further away. You will thank me. Otherwise you will end up waiting an average of 45 minutes in line at the drive through or inside. Either way is just as bad. Have questions? They do not answer the phone in the pharmacy. EVER. So don't even try. I've never seen a pharmacy so horribly ran. I used to go to the location off Penn Ave & American Blvd for years and they NEVER had waits like this. I will be making the drive there instead to save myself from the horrible service. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

This was a harebrained visit. I went in to get steroids for a bacterial infection in my tonsils and the woman said "we don't have any sorry" and I said, "well can I get them at another Walgreens?" Because of the rioting in Mpls. my prescription was held up at my local Walgreen's. I needed to get the medicine immediately for health reasons. I called this Walgreen's out in Bloomington and encountered "Dominiqe" who very professionally and immediately handled the problem, and within an hour I had my prescription for an inhaler. I went here for the first time to the pharmacy and they were rude...slow...didn't smile at all. The actual pharmacist wouldn't even take the time to hear my story before rudely walking away. I called my normal pharmacy and told them and she called and took care of me. My Portland ave pharmacist had to call the lyndale pharmacist. ...and even she said they were rude! I would never go back to that walgreens again....ever! And I spend A LOT of money a week at my regular walgreens on Portland in bloomington! Horrible horrible horrible experience! This is at the worst Pharmacy in town. I call in my scripts and talk to a pharmacist they tell me that they'll be ready. I go in a day later even and they tell me that it's not ready and it happens to me every month. Their workers are incompetent and no matter how big of a stink you make and how many times you talk to the manager nothing changes at this store so my recommendation is to go use CVS right down the road. read more

Drive thru extremely slow if script not ready they allow people to hold up everyone else in drive thru til script is ready. Makes absolutely no sense to me at all. Need more techs working at night shouldn't be a line a mile long at 10:15 at night read more

The pharmacy here is absolutely terrible. I've had multiple occasions where they have messed up and still won't learn from their mistakes. Like when a customer calls 6 hours before hand to get a prescription filled, come in after work, and they look at you with a blank stare because they haven't even touched it yet. This has happened at least 6 times. Or when you have to have them contact your doctor for a refill, and again you go in a week later thinking it gunna be a easy transaction and they give you another blank stare. How come you guys can't do your job right? It's really not that hard, I'll get you a note pad if you can't remember. Don't waste your time with these fools, you deserve better. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. read more
