Truly horrible service from the pharmacy. They cancel my prescriptions with no explanation on a regular basis. When I call and ask why they don't give an explanation, they say we'll have it ready by xx. Why on earth do I need to call and be on hold for 45 minutes when I submitted the refill in the app? Also, zero sense of urgency. Dropped off an rx for my son after he had surgery and told them he was in pain and asked if they could fill it as soon as possible. They said 1 hour. 2 hours later after not hearing from them, I showed up back at the window and they filled it while I waited. read more

My daughter and I just visited this Walgreens for the first time, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. We came in to grab a quick snack, and when we approached the register, the cashier was on her phone. She barely acknowledged us--even rolled her eyes as we placed our items down. There was no greeting until I initiated one, and even then, the interaction felt forced. She didn't ask if I wanted to enter a phone number for rewards (which I had already done), didn't ask if we needed a bag, and mumbled a "have a good one" with no real effort or eye contact. As a store manager myself, I understand how important even a basic level of customer service is--especially for first-time customers. This felt careless and dismissive. I hope this isn't the standard at this location, but based on our experience, it was enough to make us think twice about returning. read more

They mostly have what I need when I need something quick. Convenient for online purchases for curb side pick up. Polite customer service. The pharmacy is quicker to access from inside, but a drive-thru is available. Just remember the lunch hours when they are on break. read more

I was given a empty box of pills. They forgot to put meds in. Also Very slow at filling a prescription. If your sick and waiting for a rx expect to wait a few hours or even until next day. read more

Typically I like this Walgreens and frequently visit it however my last few previous visits haven't been the best, and I don't expect much from a drugstore but this particular location has really been preforming way beneath the bar. My first complaint is I have been trying to update the phone number to my rewards for the past 2 months. Every time I go in and put in my old phone number I always tell them that I have to update it. Every time I get a completely different answer on how this can be done. Someone said I can go online, someone else said I would have to call, someone even pretended like they updated my number and when I came into the store again and put in my new number nothing came up. So apparently no one knows how to update phone numbers (a task you think would be fairly easy). Secondly, I just bought a Reese's peanut butter cup that was no good and expired, tried giving them a call to see if I could trade it in for a fresh one, was on hold for almost 10 minutes before I decided to hang up, it just wasn't worth it. I kind of feel petty writing a review based on the things listed above however, customer service goes a long way. I hope they can get it together soon. read more

I'm glad I don't have to deal with the pharmacy too often. I recently needed some meds immediately. I usual get them free through the mail with my insurance. They were expecting a $289 payment, but when I checked with my Dr I could use the capsule vs tablet and save $250. I think the main issue is they're too busy to deal with having to keep calling a Dr for changes. There are some nice pharmacist here and they may get cranky around their closing time of 9pm. This location is an older style design, and it seems no 2 Walgreens are layed out the same. It's the closest to me, so I make it work. The rewards are nice. I often stop in for 1 thing for the rewards coupon to use in the next week. I then come back for the whole list and save 20%. Don't forget your free flu shot. read more

Normally I try to be generous with people in customer service jobs; I myself have worked in assorted jobs involving customers of various sorts so I know how it is. However, I popped off at the miserable job that the management of this store did regarding my transaction today. I (like most customers of this company) use the "Balance" card to get you points toward savings at Walgreens. I got an email saying I had $10 worth and to redeem by the end of this month. Armed with this, I went to buy my stuff. I went to check out, and at the end the clerk said, "You have five dollars to redeem today, would you like to?" I showed her the email and inquired why there was a discrepancy. She couldn't tell so pulled over another clerk, who didn't know. Eventually we had two managers and a couple clerks crowded at the counter, peering at my phone and playing with the register. Ultimately the grand poobah proclaimed that they couldn't make it work and I could only have the $5 off. There was a lazy attitude like, "Oh well, we tried." He said they could call some service line at corporate, but "it will take a long time." Well, I had an appointment in 10 minutes so couldn't stand there dicking around when they probably couldn't make it work anyway. Since I dismissed that idea, it was back to the "Sorry" response. Look, every place where I've had a customer service job the motto is some version of "Make it work." You don't alienate people that way, and it is an exercise in "big picture" thinking. Don't tell me they wouldn't be able to take $5 off the bill manually. The one star is for the friendly and patient staff who helped me prior to this debacle. Management should be ashamed of their lazy linear thinking, which pissed off a customer and is leading not only to a Yelp review but an email to the company. If it's a problem with the company, they just need to get rid of the benefits program if it won't reflect accurately in the store. read more

Walgreens isn't the sexiest thing to review, but with 14+ check-ins (and counting) to this location I feel like I owe these guys a shout out! I live super close so I find myself popping into Walgreens for makeup items, hair products, and other odds and ends. I'm also usually stopping in to use their Chase ATM considering the nail salon I go to only accepts tips in cash (and I of course never have cash on me). The customer service here is great. There are two women in particular who always ask if I need help. I've even been given recommendations on hair products. Just recently the woman helping me offered to quickly check me out at the makeup counter so I wouldn't have to wait in line, AND she pulled out a coupon for me to use that I didn't have. Sweet! This is a good Walgreens my friends. Good people. Good locale. Has whatever you may need. read more

I've been coming to this Walgreens for more than ten years, as it is very conveniently located near where I work. Walgreens stores and CVS stores are very similar, and yet I consistently pass up other Walgreens locations and CVS stores to come to 'my' Walgreens even when I'm not at work. To me, Walgreens is all about convenience; the truth is, you can usually find whatever it is you get here somewhere else for a better price, but for those of us who plan their shopping around coupons and sales, Walgreens still offers some really great deals on things you might as well buy as you're picking up your pack of gum or whatever. Because of the convenience, the occasional great prices, and the cleanliness of the store, I would give four stars, but I have to give five because of the people that work there. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and I apologize for not having thought to mention them--or give them the credit they deserve--on Yelp sooner. Thanks guys! read more

Had the worst experience with the pharmacy today. A prescription was called in late and this pharmacy transferred the prescription to a different location because it's Sunday and they were closing. They rushed me, didn't verify all the information and basically pulled down the rolling wall in my face because they wanted to go home! No Customer Service here. And this is not the first time I have received rude service. Think it's time to find another pharmacy that cares about their customers! read more

This is MY Walgreens. I love my coupons, Register Rewards, combining coups and RRs, etc. I would usually be afraid to give away my secrets for free toiletries and overstocks on everything in my bathroom, but I've decided to share the wealth today. This Walgreens usually has enough "FREE after RR" product stock to last them the whole week. They aren't afraid to show it either. This Walgreens stocks all of the "free" products at the door. The staff has been nice and patient each time that I have come up to the register with 5 products and exactly 5 mfr coups (max). I've walked out profitable so many times. This store gets 5 stars for being clean, organized, having products on hand, cordial employees with an actual brain, and for not being too overcrowded for its small staff. Minor quibble: would like more items on clearance. read more

This Walgreens is quite convenient to my home and I have been purchasing medication there for years. Recently my physician prescribed a particular medication that the pharmacist did not agree with. She refused to fill the prescription because she did not agree with the treatment, though the treatment is widely used and very effective. I do not recommend going to this Walgreens. I will be transferring my business elsewhere. read more

This Walgreens is always an easy in and out because the cashiers are quick and know their stuff. The makeup area is really well stocked, as is the seasonal aisle. They've recently expanded the grocery section. As a bonus they're one of the few locations near us that carry those danish butter cookies that go so well with coffee--the significant other unit is addicted! Very nice staff at the checkout. Super fast staff at the photo desk for quick passport pictures. There's always plenty of room in the private parking lot. read more

Like most Walgreen Drug stores, it's close to something. Home, work, you name it. But what's nice about this store is the customer service. They also have a good photo lab. Trust me, I have printed well over too many photos. Clean store and the bathrooms are never out of service. try that, Greek town Walgreens! read more

Yes this is a nice little Walgreen. There is nothing spectacular about it. ( just that is close to the casa). One tip be mindful of were you are going when you exit the parking lot. You cannot go east on New York Street you have to go all the way to the end of the parking lot to cross over Eola to get back to New York. ( it's a down right pain in the butt) read more

Worst Pharmacy around. We had been a customer of the Walgreen's Amerisale Dr. location for about 10 years until it recently closed due to Rt. 59 construction which was a wonderful location in terms of the Pharmacy staff which made us very loyal to Walgreens. Since having to move our business to the N. Eola Rd. address every month has pretty much been a nightmare dealing with this Pharmacy and now we will be moving on for good. Super slow to fill prescriptions and after repeated promises to start carrying monthly prescriptions they never have it in stock and we are out up to a week waiting for them to fill prescriptions. Their Intercom does not work so every time I have been inside at this Pharmacy the Pharmacists are always fighting with other customers as well which validates the lack of professionalism here. This location needs a housecleaning in this department. read more

I switched to this Walgreens from the CVS across the street because it is now my insurances preferred provider. Oh how I miss CVS! This is just the middle of February and twice they have tried to charge me full price on meds that were tier 2 and should have been 6 dollars. The first was for a nasal spray, they said it would be around 130 so I bought generic flonase instead. Today I went in for another prescription, they told me it wasn't covered when I knew darn well it was so I made them put it through again, sure enough, 6 dollars. A light went on in my head so I went home and looked my nasal spray up in the formulary and it is covered as a tier 2 drug. A 3 month supply is 18 dollars. A week ago I got a robo call saying a prescription was ready, when I got there it was for a med I no longer take. Today, they tried to give me the same prescription. This is incompetence, I don't drive and this is the closest Walgreens to my house. From now on I will call before picking up prescriptions . read more
