I've used this location for years and they have always been helpful. I went in for a pickup and was told it would not arrive for a few hours. I asked to have it mailed. I did this through the app as I have done many times in the past and it was always delivered by USPS. I paid $3.99 for shipping. I later got a text that this was being delivered by UBER. Huh? So for my $20 prescription I paid $3.99 for shipping and now have to tip an UBER driver? I don't know if this is now company policy or just this location but I wanted it shipped as it was in the past. Now this delivery will cost me half the price of the prescription. What's up with that? Terrible Service!!! Came in for a prescription that had been called in at 11 am by my dr. It was 6:30 pm and the lady was vacuuming and ignoring me standing there. Another worker had to point out she had a customer. She told me no one had called in a prescription. Luckily I was able to get a hold of someone in my dr office that late and they confirmed they had indeed called it in and left a message on their voicemail since they were closed for lunch. After finally checking their voicemail at 6:30 pm, they confirmed I did have a prescription. Then the lady waiting on me as rude and told me to sit down in a condescending manner. Just got Breyers ice cream, and it had obviously had been prior melted. At some point their ice cream freezer had went out, and instead of marking it as a write off they have continued to sell it to unknowing customers. I won't be going back to this store. They obviously need a new manager that takes responsibility for store loss, and doesn't push loss onto customers. When I call I was told the managers name is Nicholas. He needs to recognize that customer service should take precedence over his bonus. read more

I have been on hold for Pharmacy for an 1hr. I was asked if I could be on hold. The pharmacist didn't wait for my response and simply placed me on hold. While I was on hold their was another period where I was asked again if I could be on hold and was just simply placed on hold with out me responding to the question, After that the phone rang several times and the line was dropped as if someone hand hung up. read more

My friend had to get a prescription filled and so we went to taste it for her daughter. That was probably the worst experience of customer service I've EVER HAD IN ATHENS!!! I personally will NEVER step foot in that store again!! I had a question and the only person around was an older guy that spoke management was at the middle register so I had a question on the sale stuff. He looked at me like I had just told him I had paternity papers proving " He's the Father"!!. He NEVER SAID A WORD?! WTH??? YALL Already are higher in price and with y'all's coup you end up paying ( say you had av$2 off coupon on Aveeno lotion) which made it exactly wat you would start with at Walmart so basically it was useless. Y'all have neat things but U WILL Pay more than anyone else but CVS ( they're friendly at least and want to make sure u have s good positive visit). The cashier barely acknowledged us and NO ONE joked around. Someone did ask me if I needed help by the photo area which is weird because they're not ever hardly friendly except at Office Depot. I worked in customer service my whole life and good at it because I genuinely like people and care to help. The Pharmacist had the attitude of a worm so basically the majority of ur employees treat you as a bother. I AM NOT THE ONE... I actually sat in the car while my mom walked inside to pick up some photos she sent here to get developed. I think they called her to let her know they were ready, which was very convenient. My mom checked out quickly, & I didn't sit in the car very long. I might like to stop by to see more of this store sometime. read more
