The worst Walgreens I've ever been to. The pharmacy is always incredibly understaffed. Expect incredibly long wait times, the drive through is frequently closed. They will cancel your prescriptions without notifying you beforehand to see if you still need it. I tried picking up a prescription for about a week, but every time I went the lines were so long I had to come back. Arrived tonight to get my prescription and they cancelled it so I had to wait until they could fill it again. I would recommend going to another pharmacy if you're in the area. read more

And now with the closed for meals (lunch and dinner times) new pharmacy hours, this store is abysmal. I get that the pharmacy dept is so short-staffed, overworked and underpaid that they physically have to shut the pharmacy counter in order to get a meal/break in peace...but what about us customers who also have to get their errands done (like running to Walgreen's to pick up their prescriptions during their own break/meal times at lunch or after work at dinner)?? Walgreen's corporate has needed to do better for a while now. Hire more staff, or better yet, make sure your app accurately reflects what is happening in real time with prescriptions, (instead of creating even more unnecessary work for staff that now also have to answer live phone inquires about prescription availability and/or pick up because the app isn't updating and the pharmacy is "closed" twice during the rest of the world's work day). First trip in to pick up print and a puzzle, the customer service was great...until they "could not find the second puzzle". (I had made both orders on my computer at home and paid for everything on-line with my credit card...So, it should have been an easy pick-up!). Thing is, I was alerted by an email that my order was complete and ready for pickup, so that's why I showed up to get my stuff! I sat around waiting for the clerks to look all over the stock area as he went back and forth, doubling as the photo person AND the front cashier bc they were so understaffed. I went back the next day to let them get their act together...I was assured someone would call another store and get the materials necessary to print the puzzle I ordered. STILL NOT THERE. Say three, I am told the materials would be at their store at the end of the week, a fullfour days after the original "READY FOR PICK-UP" email sent to me! So frustrating. Pharmacy is awful. So this is the 2nd time in a mine (July 5, 2023 and August 4) that I visited this location. On the first occasion, I had left the hospital and dropped off a prescription in the early morning. I was informed that I would receive a call within an hour or 2 to advise when my order was ready for pick-up. After 3 hours elapsed, I called and using the automated operator feature, I was made aware that my prescription was ready got pick-up. Today, at approximately 2:50pm, I was going to drop off a prescription and when i was asked if I planned to pick-up or was going to wait, I replied that I would wait. I was then told the turn around time would be 3 hours. I felt I misheard so I asked "3 hours?" And was told "yes." I called cvs on plum grove rd and they indicated the turn around time is 10-15 minutes. I headed over there. As I'm typing this I just received a message advising my prescription is ready for pick-up. read more

How rude can they be. The store picked up the phone 4 times and put me on hold without ever saying hello. When I asked for assistance in getting a price for a prescription, the answer was simply NO. I wouldn't recommend ever using this pharmacy. We moved to the area and this was the closest to our house and it's been a nightmare getting our monthly prescriptions. At the beginning, I witnessed several customers who were frustrated with the staff and service and asked to speak to a manager. I gave walgreens the benefit of the doubt from years of being a customer. 3 months in a row my prescription has been delayed, I've been told it would be ready 1st thing the next day and then I call and they say they have nothing in stock. No phone call or anything to advise on the delay or anything. They say oh well, despite my doctor having instructed them to fill it. read more

Here's the problem I have with this Walgreens. 1) It feels really old, and needs some sort of facelift. 2) The pharmacy drive through is a mess. It always takes forever in their drive through. This location is very convenient for me and usually I am in and out fairly quickly. Except.... if I am picking up photos. No one should have to wait 10 minutes to be noticed that they are @ the desk. The other day, the only employee I saw was @ the front register and she was too busy ringing up customers to notice me standing @ the photo counter patiently waiting. Now, I am not the type to go up and interrupt a cashier mid-transaction so I waited. And waited. And waited. And still no one. I'm writing this to give huge kudos to a manager named Mo. I learned something new today. Turns out the "refill by" date on your prescription actually means "PICK UP BY" not "REFILL BY." I noticed at the beginning of November that my husband's migraine medication (which is NOT a controlled substance or even any kind of painkiller) had one refill left by 11/20/19. So I called in the refill at the beginning of November. I got several emails notifying me that the prescription was ready, but it was several weeks before I had a chance to pick it up. So I went to pick it up today, and quite typically, the pharmacy was significantly understaffed with a very long line and two cars in drive through and the phone ringing off the hook. The man who took care of me was not a regular pharmacy employee and couldn't locate the prescription. I showed him one of the emails in my phone telling me the prescription had been filled. He noted the email was a few weeks old and he said that if people didn't pick up Rxs by a certain time, then they "unfill" it. Which I understood; while waiting for prescriptions in the past I'd overheard staff calling people to tell them their prescriptions would be gone if they didn't come get them soon. I hadn't gotten any phone call like that, but I did admit it had been about 3 weeks since I called in the refill. He disappeared to discuss with pharmacy staff then came back and told me THERE WERE NO REFILLS LEFT ON THE PRESCRIPTION SO THEY CONTACTED THE DOCTOR AND YADA YADA YADA. I knew THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I knew there was one more refill on this medication. I knew from my vast past experience with Walgreens pharmacy that they would not have sent me an email with the price unless the refill was packaged up and ready to go. I tried to tell him any of this, but he was more concerned about the long line of people behind me than addressing my concerns. So I walked away from pharmacy in utter frustration. I just can't handle being lied to, and I was standing there steaming, when I saw Nelum, a store employee who is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, and she asked me what was wrong, and I asked her if I could speak to a manager. Wonderfully helpful as always, Nelum promptly got me a manager, my hero Mo, who LISTENED to me and understood what I was saying and my concerns. He went to the pharmacy and came back explaining the full situation, that I was correct that there was a remaining refill and it had been filled .... BUT the prescription expired November 20. If I had come to pick it up before November 20 then there wouldn't have been an issue. THAT WAS ALL I WANTED! I wanted the truth - not to be lied to because that was quicker/easier or because the person filling in at the pharmacy didn't understand the situation (that's me giving him the benefit of the doubt. I didn't catch the name of the employee filling it at pharmacy who lied to me ... but he made a point of letting me know he used to be a Boy Scout and that's why it was important for him to take a few minutes to set up the plastic bags at his station before starting to help customers.) Anyway I can't thank Mo enough... although I did try to let him know how grateful I was to have the truth. Yes I still left there without the prescription, BUT THANKS TO MO, I AT LEAST UNDERSTAND WHY!! Managers in training, take a lesson from Mo! He alone is why this is a positive review and not a negative one. (Well him and Nelum - her smile always brightens my day!) And to the Boy Scout who filled in at the pharmacy -- please tell your customers the truth even if it takes longer than lying to them!!!! read more

This place is the worst. I should have known better then to set up an appt for a covid test. Arrived 5 minutes before appt. and 7 cars in line. Only one lane of the two lane drive through open. Tried to call to see if I could come in and on hold for 12 minutes read more

I hate to pick on 1 location since I haven't been happy with the service of multiple locations over the last few years, but this one takes the cake. I get told there are insurance delays cause they don't know where my info is when I filled a different prescription a few days before with the same insurance. Their record keeping and data storage/management is so bad I am even concerned about all the PHI they have. Don't come here unless you want to make 3 phone calls more than necessary, wait 30 minutes in the drive thru, long hold times etc read more

I have to agree with Dave on this one. Their pharmacy is TERRIBLE and I will be switching to a new company altogether because of it no matter how "convenient." The last 3 visits that I have used the drive-up the women were rude and talked down to me for no apparent reason. From their lack of greeting to crassly asking questions as if you're inconveniencing them I cannot understand why my prescription pickup experience seems like a trip to the DMV lately. The last time I specifically told the pharm tech that I will be filling out the survey at the bottom of the receipt because of the horrible experience (which she then completely changed her attitude towards me). I do have to say there used to be a young gentleman there that was always polite, thorough and efficient but I do not see him anymore. I think their customer service skills left with him. read more

This Walgreens is horrible. Last week i was sold 14 day expired spoiled milk. Upon returning it to the store the manager on duty thought it was comical that they overlooked it 7 Times. Yes, 7 Times because according to him they check expiration dates on these items every other day. Today was a whole other experience. The man checking me out this morning was upset because customers kept getting in line at "his" register instead of the woman across from him. He wanted to go shop the store sales he said to me. I replied with I'm pretty sure you are working therefore i stepped in your line to check out. He laughed and said he does whatever he wants here. Now that was around 8:30am this morning. Before i exited i dropped off a prescription to be filled. They said two hours. I checked back at noon and still not done. I checked at 3:30pm and still not done. Then while I'm out grocery shopping i get a text it's ready and that was at 5:45pm. I arrive at Walgreens at 6:15pm and stand at the counter ( no one in front of me) for 10 minutes. Then the Pharmacy manager on duty continues to tell me my script isn't ready. I told her i received a text and it was dropped off several hours ago. She started screaming at me and said, " what do you want me to do? I'll mess up prescriptions if i go any faster!" Really!!! Then she proceeds to tell me i did not receive a text. So i went out to my car and got my phone and came back in to show her indeed i received a text. By then she was hiding behind the corner. A technician said here is your script. She checks me out and i look down at the bag and it's not even the right prescription. I told her this is a joke. I grabbed my bag and left. I've used Walgreens for decades and i have to say this one is the worst overall. From checking out to products to the pharmacy. If you can avoid this location i highly recommend you do. read more

I signed in to upgrade this location to 4 stars. The last few times I have been in everyone has been at the registers cashing out the lines of people. I would have upgraded it to 5 stars but, I went on 2 different occasions to purchase something in the shampoo aisle. The products were not stocked until my 3rd visit. I waited on hold for the Pharmacy for almost a half hour. Then when someone finally answered, they hung up on me. I tried again and was on hold for additional 20 minutes. I have had similar experiences in the Drive through. Their process for the pharmacy needs to be remedied. It takes way to long to get service from them. read more

Pharmacy staff very rude. Every time I call it's the same thing. No greeting and if I say have a good day or thank you they just hang up. There's also a big issue with their system. Multiple times now I would refill a prescription through the app and for some reason more than half the time they don't receive my prescriptions. Even when my doctor sends prescriptions to this location most of the time for some reason they don't receive it. With other Walgreens pharmacy there's no issues like this. I have pretty bad asthma so these medications I need to survive. The other day I send my asthma prescription to be refilled and it didn't progress on the app. So I called the pharmacy to get a status update. They advised they don't have any prescriptions for me and none were requested. So I asked if they can fill it and if possible if there's a way to fill it quick because my breathing is bad. Pharmacy responded back saying sorry we can't do anything about that and they hung up. This pharmacy is walking distance from my house but I'm gonna start going to another Walgreens I know is better that's about 15 minutes away. read more

Store itself is clean and well-organized. However, the pharmacy has really gone downhill in the last year or so. Refills are messed up or delayed without any notification. Customer service at the counter is slow and generally average at best. My wife and I are both fed up with the quality and service here. Hope they can improve soon, but we're going to find another place to fill prescriptions. read more

Told the tech I was in a hurry and he said ,"no problem " I patiently waited 45 minutes. There were no other customers and 45 minutes later he said they didn't have the medicine. This is about the photo department. I use this Walgreens because there is one employee there that does a good job. But if someone else does the order, it will be wrong and they are always wrong at any other Walgreens in the area. Or, it will not be ready. Well, this time they called to tell me it would not be ready but gave me an estimated time which they beat by 2 hours and the order was even correct. This should be 3 stars, right? Like, "meets minimum expectations." But I'm giving them 4 because it was a complete 180 from my all my other Walgreens Photo experiences. Hopefully, this is a permanent improvement. read more

I went to their pharmacy twice to get anti inflammatory and muscles relaxers. They knew I was in pain and gave me the runaround. They said my insurance card for my prescription was invalid and wanted to charge me an outrageous amount. I called my insurance and they said my card was valid and that my co-pay would be .26 cents. Only to find out Walgreens screwed up by having the wrong date of birth In Their system. Really???? Even with my drivers license and date of birth on it? These are the people you put next to all the drugs???? This could have been handled correctly the first time. But twice? Be very cautious if they tell you owe more than you think you do. I have been to this Walgreens several times and find the wait time in line unacceptable not only that the people that work there are unenthusiastic and act like it's going to kill then to check you out ... Especially the lady with the arm bands. Seriously? Find another job. She is the most miserable person ever. The final straw was when I called the store explaining I was walking with my dog and could I stop in for a drink. The kid in the phone said no prob. I went two nights later and the manager kicked me out. I have no prob not taking my dog places but mixed msgs that make me feel like I be was the criminal do. Being a corporate trainer, train your employees right. Will not shop there again bc there is an OBVIOUS lack of communication. I don't care whether you allow dogs out not but I don't appreciate being told one thing one night and then embarrassed infront of other customers another night. read more

This Walgreens is very close to my place and it would be very convenient to use them as our pharmacy... Unfortunately, the customer service is ridiculous. They're ALWAYS backlogged, prescriptions take very long to fill and, in my experience, the main pharmacist is generally rude to customers.
