The food and experience highly exceeded my expectations! Located in Oberursel, this restaurant is within 5 minutes walk from the closest train stop. The restaurant is highly popular with the locals, and I would recommend making a reservation in advance. The restaurant is medium sized, and it is being run by a lovely lady. She said since they update their menu regularly, there was no English menu available. However, she spoke very good English and made excellent recommendations. You could also use Google translate to understand the menu. The menu was very simple, with appetizers, salad, soups, entrees, and desserts. There was also a very extensive drink menu in the second half of the menu. For my meals, I ordered the small size salad and the mushroom risotto entree. The restaurant manager said the mushrooms were hand picked from the wild. The risotto was among one of the best I had ever had, with the perfect combination of cheese, creamy risotto, and flavorful mushroom. Others in my table ordered the pulled pork, fried chicken, beef goulash, and mushroom pastas. The plating presentation was excellent and everyone raved about their meals.
