We were provided a detailed scope of work, a calendar that outlined when each piece of the project would be completed with corresponding payments due as the project progressed. The plumbers, carpenters, and electricians were all professional and respectful of our time and our home. Each cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day's work. The Amish handcrafted cabinetry allowed for custom cabinets that fit our space. No cookie cutter cabinets here! Shortly after the cabinets were installed, we noted a small nick on a drawer face which was quickly replaced. We have additional remodeling planned and will definitely use Boone Creek again.

During the conversation he began to threaten us when we told him to just walk away and we would not be paying the balance. We could not afford another 1 or 2 nights in a hotel )vapors) and giving the threats he first made to my son and then to me I wanted nothing more to do we this company. He thretend a contractors lien if we didn't pay him for "not" finishing the job. This guy was scum. Period. If this is a new owner then fine, but if its the same owner stay away. Anyone who threatens to sue you when they were at fault and refuses to compromise with you is not someone you should do business with.

The floors and stairs looked fabulous after their work! I was worried (ok, paranoid) about dust since I'm quite allergic. As a hobby woodworker with a lot of dust capture equipment, Arlington Hardwood must use some serious filters and vacuums because I didn't think it was possible to leave that little dust behind. There was just a tiny bit on flat surfaces that had the consistency of flour. The floors are now gorgeous and I'm so glad we had them done before moving anything into the house. I only wish he did Zelle for payment. One thing I really like is that the owner actually does the work, so you know it will be done well, and you're getting his experience.

They brought at least a dozen color samples. We sat down and were fully informed in the most professional manner about the cost, financing available, timeframe and what to expect. Bob, Angel, JC, and Giulia are all fantastic! They took care of all village permits. From our estimate to completion was 11 days and would have been shorter but the village permit takes time. They arrived at 7am and our roof was completed by 6pm. They also properly vented our bathroom fans through the roof included in our roof replacement. They left our yard and driveway completely clean and free of debris. With a bit of snow still in the ground, they came back after it melted to double-check that all debris was cleaned up. I wholeheartedly recommend TU Construction. Nice people, great work, prompt, professional, and communication was excellent! Very happy customer!

Since the new floor was butting up to an existing floor, I gave Wayne a can of stain from the original floor to match. It was obvious he did nothing with it and the installers had no idea what to do other than try to mix stains until they got something similar. The shoe base in the rest of the house is available at any home center but instead they ripped a piece of rough wood that I had to sand before painting so that the guys could install the trim. When I got the bill, there was an additional $134 for an extra coat of clear finish that I did not ask for, or authorize. Do some research and get a second price before hiring the Wizard! (and if you do use them, check your invoice)

Ziggy was the only contractor that would even come to give me an estimate for fixing this problem. After purchasing the house, we hired Ziggy to do the repair work. The work is rock solid! After that, we hired Ziggy to install a larger window in the garage. Later, we had an emergency when the siding company removed aluminum surround from two supporting balcony columns and discovered the columns to be so rotten they didn't touch the ground and crumbled upon touch. Ziggy came out the same day to replace those supports (roughly 25 ft in length, each), so the siding work could continue on schedule. His pricing has always been fair and reasonable. We have other work for him as our funds will allow. We highly recommend.
