I'm very been bringing my dogs here for the past 13 years and I wouldn't bring them anywhere else. The owner and employees are friendly, takes lots of pictures and videos and my current dog practically begs to go (and he hates everyone but me and going to Waldog). Wanted to love it here so bad however every time I take my dog here he comes home dying of thirst he just drank 2 bowls of water and he goes pee as soon as we get home in addition when I dropped my dog to the girl working in the morning she just grabbed my dog and walked away didn't even ask who it was what he would be there for just took my dog and walked away into the back incredibly rude and doesn't leave you in the best peace of mind ... also my dog reeks of the scent of urine which is truly disgusting now after a long day at work I get to give him a bath safe to say I personally won't be returning it smells terrible inside at the front too. read more

We have left our dogs there on different occasions for the day care when we are in the Lakewood a ranch area for an extended time. They both enjoyed the playtime and came out clean and happy. The place is spotless and you are allowed to go back and watch the interaction with the dogs. Our one gal is quite old and has actually passed since our last visit there. We explained her age and limitations so the last time she was there she got to hang out up front with the extraordinary staff and have some personal loving. When we have another function in Lakewood Ranch that is an extended time, we will definitely bring our Kona back. read more

Just want to give a shout out to Waldog and their staff. I meant to do this last month, but here I am doing it now. I went on a short vacation and needed a place to board my senior dog Oscar. He was the sweetest dog, but in his advanced age needed alot of potty breaks. I also didn't want him involved in serious playtime with other pooches. Waldog put him in the front entrance area with a few other small and older dogs, where they could keep an eye on him and take him for frequent potty breaks. Oscar was there for four days. When I picked him up, he looked happy and perky. They even cleaned his ears without any extra charge. The staff was super friendly and easy to reach when I called for updates. I have been taking my dog, Sara, to Waldog for years and she absolutely loves it. As soon as we pull into the parking lot, she starts whining to get out of the car. She is always happy to see the staff and rushes inside to play with the other dogs. The staff is very professional and sweet. You can tell that they care about the dogs and get to know them individually. They will accommodate any special requests and take care of a lot of senior dogs. I have used Waldog for day care and boarding, and both are reasonably priced, especially for this area. Sara always stays at Waldog when we go on vacation and she comes home happy, relaxed, and tired. The staff always give me up updates about how she's been eating, playing, and sleeping when I call to check in on her. I moved since I first starting going to Waldog and there are several other facilities closer to my home now. Nonetheless, I will always drive a little further to drop Sara off at Waldog. Nothing can replace the peace of mind of knowing that your dog is in good hands. I highly recommend Waldog! read more

I have used Waldog Astoria a couple of times before. This last stay (I picked up today) was the longest I've ever boarded my senior dog (11 nights). I am so grateful for the wonderful care this place offers my dog. They follow my feeding instructions, including refrigerated items, and are happy to take my call every couple of days to simply check in and make sure all is good. I appreciate manager Skylar, Jen, and all of the staff who give my dog many daily walks. It is comforting to know that my dog is in good hands when I go away. Highly recommend! read more

I was on vacation for four days and took Milo, my pug, here because he had been here before for daycare. Apparently that was a mistake on my end to have taken him here in the first place. When I got my dog yesterday night, he reeked of urine. Then as soon as we got home I took him outside. Typically, my dog will pee on bushes every few feet and be stubborn about where and when he's gonna poop. Nope- he peed for about 2 minutes straight and he had not one, not two, but FOUR bowel movements in 10 minutes. That's not normal at all. I called the place up to let them know the situation. They told me that there was a storm and "he was holding it in because the grass was wet". Listen, my dog has done his business in rain AND snow, so I KNOW that's a load of garbage. I also gave him a pretty long bath - my dog doesn't typically reek of urine AT ALL, and I could smell him from one end of the room to the other. I plan to never return him here when I go on vacation. I've lost faith in this boarding facility, and will either plan to hire someone who can come in and spend the night with him or take him to another facility. read more

Called desperate for dog daycare after a terrible experience at another facility in Jupiter. Spoke to owner who was kind, gentle and understanding. He welcomed me and my pup with open arms and I couldn't be happier with the facilities, staff and care my dog received. He came with a huge gash on his head from the other place and the staff paid special attention to it throughout his stay. Drop off and pick up are a breeze and no reservations required which is awesome. Open Sat and Sunday and Pup is happy to go! My dog sitter cancelled at the last minute on Mother's Day and I had a surprise full spa day planned for my Wife at the PGA Spa followed by dinner in PBG. I called several doggie day cares near where we live in Delray Beach but they had no availability so I tried the Waldog Astoria which was close to the spa....and I was pleasantly surprised!! Regina answered the phone and said they would be happy to accommodate Mimi our adopted Greyhound for the entire day. We brought Mimi with us and dropped her off around 9:30 for the entire day. She literally saved our Mother's Day as we were planning on cancelling my wife's massage, facial and mani-pedi. I normally write reviews when I am disappointed in a business...however it feels great to review a business that is attentive to detail (they even gave Mimi a bath) and accommodating on such short notice, and at a very fair price! Thanks Regina and everyone who played with Mimi all day for allowing new parents of a 1-year to get away for the day and celebrate Mother's Day for the first time!!!! read more

We love Waldog Astoria for our dog Toby. We've been having him go to their daycare since we got him 4 years ago. As soon as we drive up to Waldog he gets so excited and wants to jump out of the car to greet his friends as soon as I open the door. The employees all know Toby by name and know who his "best (dog) friends" are. When I pick him up, he's just as excited to see me and immediately passes out in the car. Waldog has helped us out in a bind and Toby always seems happy when we pick him up. They've posted videos and pictures of the dogs playing that we love. Once, Toby saw a friend from Waldog and they acted so happy to see each other like friends who run into each other on vacation - I know the dogs at Waldog are happy. read more

I bring my dog, Soco, here every day to play. She gets exercise and gets to socialize with the other dogs. In the morning, she runs to the door to go play. She also boards here when my family goes on vacation. She's so well loved and taken care of, I don't ever have to worry about her while we're gone. Sam, Stacy, Stephanie, and all the other workers treat her as one of their own. The owners, Eden and Regina, are truly dog lovers. The dogs are not crated during the day, even on the weekends, as I know other places do. I would not hesitate to recommend the Waldog Astoria to anyone. read more

Buttons was there Nov 1 to 6 I cant say enough to tell u how great they r! My son kept saying i cant believe u dont say i miss Buttons. I said because I know she is happy there! I missed her lots hvnt been away from her that long got her as a puppy! Samantha & all staff love her & she loves them! She cried all way home she missed her house & yard. I like Doggie Daycare vs. boarding at a veterinarian because I know my dog is playing all day with other dogs and being attended to vs. sitting in a small crate all day. I have a yorkie with very high energy and she loves visiting Doggy Daycare. The rates have increased, which I was bummed about, but they do provide a better experience for the dogs. The staff is great too and always remembers my pup when we come in. read more
