I have been seeing Dr. Mark Waldman for years. I can't even imagine a different dermatologist.

The staff is friendly and they explained all the steps in the procedure. My procedure was scheduled a couple months out, but they called with an opening that cut the wait a month short.

I had testing in the 1990's for metal when it was first determined I needed a knee replacement. When the results came back that I was allergic to both Titanium and Cobalt the orthopedic doctor I had seen said "sorry there is nothing he could do except give injections into the knee joint." Fast forward to 2018. I was getting physical therapy in a warm water pool in attempt to stay mobile. The physical therapist told me of the doctor that quite successfully did knee replacement on her mom. I contacted him, made an appointment and was sold he was the doctor to handle my situation. He showed me a zirconium knee joint and said the femur could be made of polypropylene if I really did have the allergy I reported. I didn't know the name of the allergist that had performed the test in the 90's so I decided it wouldn't hurt this many years later to be tested again. After many phone call inquiries I found that Dr Todd Rickett at the S 2nd St location in Louisville performed just the tests I needed. I think he is the only doctor in the broader Louisville area that does allergy testing for medical procedures. He and his office is so organized. The testing requires appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the same week. On the Monday of my appointment he did two separate allergy trays. One for materials used in a knee replacement and the second for materials used in a pacemaker. He removed from one of the trays materials that were a duplicate in the two tests. On Wednesday he removed the contacts that had been taped to my back and documented for any initial allergies. On Friday he did the final reading and went over the results. He gave me a printout of the results and an informational pamphlet on each allergy and places the item may be found and substances it might be part of. After the very thorough and documented results I could be informative to the specialists on what materials needed to be avoided. Thank you Dr Rickett for performing such a valuable test. My Cardiologist appreciated knowing he needed to avoid Titanium and Cobalt. My orthopedic knee surgeon performed an additional blood antigen test to confirm the validity of the test but made his decision on how to proceed based on both tests. I highly recommend if in doubt Dr Rickettis the doctor that can confirm allergies of all types but he is the only one I know that specializes in medical substance allergy testing. A definitefive stars!

Went in to see Dr. Sonnier very good Doctor did a excellent job…read more My issue is with the staff and billing, the last time I was in his office was in 2013 so I am not a new patient but the billing department charged me a additional $125.00 for being a new patient they said by law they can charge that if it has been more than 3 years since your last visit. JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT! THIEVEARY AT ITS FINEST! My insurance is Caresource of Indiana, I called to make a appointment and informed them that I had Caresource insurance and asked if they accepted and they said yes. When I went in for my appointment I was asked to fill out some paperwork and for my ID and Insurance card, at NO TIME did the staff say Mr. Seay we don't accept Caresource Indiana we only accept Caresource Kentucky. Like I'm supposed to know they only take one version of it?! If there was a Issue I should have been advised right then I was seated in the waiting area for a good 30 minutes before I was called back for my appointment so there was plenty of time. I received a bill from them stating that they do not take my insurance and along with that on the bill the additional slap in the face of the $125.00 new patient fee which I was not advised I would have to pay. Insurance should have covered this 100% the staff made sure to get the co-pay of $15 as stated on my insurance card so I know they looked it over and put in the information so they should have taken the time to advise me that the procedure would not be covered as they would not accept my insurance. SHAMEFUL way to do business!!

My impression. Their medical records are questionable, too. Techs regularly were lax in finding test results. Continuity of care poor. I don't think I'll forget the biopsy. He has the personality of a sidewalk and is flat out rude at times. The most condescending person you will ever meet - he rolls his eyes while you talk to him. He is not that good - many derm doctors in town. See at last resort. Office staff seems to be aware - apathy abounds. A woman in the waiting room also said he has a horrible personality. BEWARE Update: I had to get my bank involved. 90 days later I got my TWO co pays back. That's right they charged me for a co pay to wait 45 Minutes then when I asked for a refund because I was done with waiting - they charged me a second time!!!! Office staff kept telling me that their records show I received my refund. Many calls later and with the help of L and N credit union (super bank) I finally got my $90dollars. Beware - do not use your debit card with these clowns. Use a credit card if you continue to see this group of docs - you will get your money back faster. I found a much better doctor with a competent staff.
