I had been experiencing back aches for a few months before trying reiki healing, possibly due to…read morethe stress of my work and just everyday life. I seriously thought I had to go see my doctor and request X-rays of my back because the ache was just so uncomfortable. I've never tried reiki healing before so I wasn't sure of what to expect but I went in with and open mind and willing to receive whatever this healing brought to me. Everyone's experience is different and unique so I'll briefly share mine... the setting was so peaceful, Karen made sure she explained everything prior to starting. Almost immediately into the session I started to feel the energy and for me it felt like I was floating on a very peaceful ocean. I felt all the tenseness throughout my back release. It literally felt like it was being pulled out from the top of my head (felt weird but so good), I got so relaxed that I might have dozed for a bit. Once the session was over I felt light, like a weight had been lifted of my shoulders. I went home and rested for a couple of hours. The next day my back ache was gone, I felt good, felt happy and nothing at work could stress me out. All in all...great experience, Karen is awesome and I highly recommend it!!!!
