The staff greeted me immediately and took the time to show me the space. I participated in an evening heated yin class with David Gasper. David is a great tour guide into a journey of zen. It was the ideal session to unwind at the end of the day. The studio is well thought out, from floor space to sound and lighting. I look forward to my next visit.

I started with their 33 days pass, which was the perfect way to explore everything they offer and really dive into the styles I was looking for. Mike and Scott's Heated Flow classes are fantastic, energetic, well-paced, and always leave me feeling both challenged and refreshed. Sandra's classes are also a joy; she brings such a supportive and encouraging energy. SHE IS A GEM! And then there's David Gasper, absolutely next level. With a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and a deep background in music, you can see and feel how deliberately he designs each class. The way he coordinates music with movement shows the thought and expertise he pours into his teaching. His Gentle Yoga sessions are restorative and grounding, while his Kettlebell classes bring a smart, science-based approach to strength and conditioning. He is one of the most caring instructors; he helps you with your posture and makes you feel a sense of belonging. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for a place with variety, knowledgeable instructors, clean floors, professional lighting, a great level of heat for hot yoga, and a welcoming atmosphere, Embody Wellness Hub is it.

I paid for the class and signed a waiver through my app and headed to the revamped and artsy downtown Pomona area for the class. I was able to easily score street parking right in front of the studio. The studio is as cute and as artsy as the area. The front of the studio has yogi merchandise and jewelry for sale. Behind the little doors is the class space. You an tell that the space also has a stage for other classes like aerial, lyra and pole. The space was very artistic with local student paintings on the walls. I was thoroughly amused to see that Victoria May (ig: @victoriacircus) was my yoga instructor for the day! I LOVE Victoria. We have crossed paths in previous studios and she is amazing!! Victoria has a positive high energy personality. She is very encouraging and she has the best metaphors for instructions to help me 'understand' how to get to a certain pose. I highly recommend her If you are looking into the Cracked! class with Victoria, it is a class with "gentle movements that follow the breath to strengthen and align the joints." During class, we practice restorative poses that encourage the joints to open up. This class is great for all levels. During our particular class, I happened to be the only student that showed up since it was a holiday! Victoria asked me if there was anything I would like to practice or any areas I would like to focus on. I mentioned that I just did a killer work out the previous day and my core and thighs were still sore. I wanted to do some healing restorative poses. We were bouncing ideas off one another and somehow the plow pose, or halasana, came up. I have always struggled for the plow pose, but I have never been able to get it. In addition to looking beautiful, the plow pose is great for stretching your back and shoulders. Victoria structured the class so that we would start out with warm up stretches, especially for the neck and shoulder to prepare us for the plow pose attempts. Then we got to the wall to assist me in the practice. She was extremely encouraging and reassured me that it took her a while to achieve that pose herself. Practice makes progress and I am extremely proud of my progress for the day! It is always fun to learn something new!! A fun class at a cute upbeat artsy studio! I would definitely consider taking more classes here.

I was browsing my MindBody app for a Friday evening work out and discovered Mindful Space Yoga and…read moreMeditation. An individual class is $25. They have packages and memberships. I especially dislike that the packages expire after 2 months. Too much risk and no upside for me to invest in that when I don't live in the area. If this is your first time to the studio, they are located off Foothill and San Antonio in the same plaza as Sprouts and Red Devil Pizza. I was able to fill out my waiver ahead of time on the app, or you can come early and sign your waiver at the studio. On the day of my visit the receptionist greeted me. The class prior was late getting out so I got a quick tour of the studio. They had a waiting lobby area in front, cubbies and bathroom in the back. I like the the studio space is separated by doors so there is a more peaceful ambiance for the classes as others come and go. I took the Restorative Yoga for Healing with Debbie. I brought my own blanket to be cozy in restorative poses cause I am allergic to wool blankets and sure enough this place has wool blankets. They also have bolsters and bricks for you to borrow. This restorative class had students against the wall for some legs up the wall poses. I really liked Debbie's instructions. She was good with the emphasis on breathwork and reminding us to breath throughout the class. The poses were very restful and relaxing. Here's my issue though. The class description on the mind body app talks about Reiki. I attached the screenshot with my review. I expected reiki coming into this class. I even had a conversation with the receptionist about reiki. So during the first few poses I was surprised the instructor wasn't coming around at all. Then I thought maybe she's going to do it all at the end during our shavasana... but nothing. What the heck... This feeling is like I paid for a garlic shrimp and got a tasty shrimp dish with no garlic flavor. Like THIS ISN'T WHAT I PAID FOR. This is no offense to Debbie but this is a management flaw. Update your information if it's changed. There are a lot of other restorative classes on Friday evenings in the area and the other ones even provide optional aroma therapy to deepen the stress relief. I liked the class fine but I don't like not getting the service I paid for. That's called false advertisement. I should have left feeling super relax but I left feeling super annoyed about the lacking reiki service I expected coming to this class. Also the promise of the reiki is the reason why I booked this class over other restorative yoga classes that were cheaper. I feel pretty bamboozled!

Felt at home the first day, ( I was a yoga newbie who dislIkes big gym exercises classes.) The people in the classes are also friendly and welcoming. No judgement, no pressure, no yoga snobs here, just regular folk of all ages, body types, and ability levels who are warm, friendly, and welcoming. The instructors are great! If they haven't seen you before they introduce themselves and ask your name etc. And OMG, they remember your name the next time! I attend a mid morning therapeutic class that is perfect for me. The instructors work with your personal struggles (like knee, hip, or foot issues) and suggest different modifications. I am so happy I found this studio. It's a gem! Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Once inside, you're in a wonderful, clean, environment with a tranquil Zen aesthetic.
