I went in just expecting to lie down, relax, and listen to singing bowls for an hour (which would have been great on its own) but this was so much more than that! In addition to the singing bowls, there were lots of other lovely sounds. One of the healing practitioners had what looked like a large shakuhachi style flute. She would walk around and set the base down on the ground, a few inches from our bodies, and play it. And you could not only hear it- you could FEEL the vibrations resonating through your body! The best part was that one of the other healing practitioners walked around did mini Reiki sessions with each of the participants. Even though it was a group session, I experienced PROFOUND healing. I had been experiencing extreme muscle tension in my neck for the past three weeks. I had a massage earlier that week and even the massage did not relieve the tension. I got a clairvoyant reading and my first ever mediumship reading (I've never had any mediumship…read morereadings prior) from Dr. Afi this month and both were above and beyond what was expected. You can see that he has love for the work that he does. I appreciate the warm, welcoming, and safe space that he held to let my ancestors come through, as well as provide extremely useful insights and advice from Spirit and my ancestors.
