This Crystal Shop was located in the 'City of Pomona,' CA. I know, not my usual location to shop from, but I decided to experiment something locally and check out the differences between a SGV Crystal Shop than a Los Angeles, CA., Crystal Shop. All similar. Staff working here from my two visits have been very welcoming and inviting. I found some of my Sun Sign products here, so I actually had to stock up a couple of boxes of them because I have never seen those products anywhere in the LA Crystal Shops. Aside from those items, I spent some time browsing the whole store stocking up in their merchandise pictures. The staff I went through were: Laura and Mariana. They were both fantastic staff working here. I'll be back some time soon, but for now I stick to the Los Angeles, CA., area ones. Great shop, so nothing personal!!!! I didn't know what to expect since the building was in a kinda run down area of downtown Pomona, but I'm so glad that we stopped by to check it out. Upbeat music, spiritual items with a trendy touch to them, and a bunch of neat items that I did not see at the other 2 metaphysical stores that we went to in the area (they have brooms, how cool is that?). Also loved how they have their own brand of spiritual goods (Mystic-ol-ogy). I purchased their tea and Dragon's Blood spray (comes in a high quality glass bottle). Last shopped here a little while back and loved it. The crystals I bought were beautiful and I really liked how the shop was organized. It made it very easy to select stones based on vibes, which is my preferred method. The lady who was working was also very helpful and friendly. After I got home I forgot the name of one of the less common crystals I had purchased, so I messaged the shop's Instagram with a picture and they graciously helped me identify it. I've always loved frequenting this place for my witchy essentials. One day I walked in with my mom to show her around and the cashier by the name of Jose was so rude. He took 30 minutes ringing the customers in line before us and then when he rang me up, he charged me for a pin and proceeded not to put it in my bag. I usually come here for their polished stones that they have. Nice variety that they have in their store, it's priced between $3-$6 a stone. They also have supplies like holy water, sage, oils, incenses, and bags to keep them in. The place was clean and organized; I like how they had cards describing the qualities of the stones. They also have classes and readings as well but I don't go to those. The staff is nice, they didn't hover or urge me to buy. read more

Okay soooo, I'm in love with my pyrite tower first things first. I really liked this company in this place - it had nice music, good colors and warm energy. Though I wish I would have sat down and took more time to enjoy the store. They have an area in the back for classes that looked super comfy and I kind of wanted to wander back there but I don't think that's allowed, haha. I've been to a LOT of crystal shops so at this point what really matters is being treated with kindness and finding something that fits for you. Mark or Marc - not sure but want to throw both out there - was super friendly and kind which is appreciated. I thought it was super cool that they had body wash and such. The candles were a bit $ pricey for me and there were only a few but they did have cool looking ones. I wanted an abalone shell but was pleasantly surprised to find a PEARL shell. All the crystals are pretty but there weren't a ton of bigger guys, I noticed the glass case and saw this pyrite tower which just screamed GALAXIES and I took it home. It is my baby and I love it. This store makes you feel immediately calmer the moment you walk in! It's an oasis, and I love that they sell tools for all faiths. Being a more spiritual person myself, I spent my time gazing at their beautiful crystals and such. But the respect they show for all faiths/religions really stood out to me. It's also woman-owned and they sell some beautiful cedar bundles (and other smudging bundles) besides sage if you're worried about the future endangerment of it. Love it! read more

Crystal newbie here. I've been doing research for awhile now & while waiting for my first order from India; I thought it'd be nice to visit a shop to get an idea. First off, I have a strong & sensitive scent allergy. The smells in this place were so heavy that it even triggered my asthma. But my dumb butt stuck around for a bit & looked at everything. They have quite the variety, everything has a sign with the crystal name & benefits on the back. I noticed a TON of manmade (fake) crystals. Ignored those & focused on what I know so far. I asked the store clerk some questions & she seemed fairly knowledgeable. She wasn't offended when I asked how to spot fakes. (Another lady somewhere else got mad lol saying she didn't sell fakes, even though she has fakes online). But this lady was polite & calm. Not sure if what she said was true, but I'll learn eventually right? lol. She never admitted to selling fakes/manmade. But she also didn't deny it. I'll do an update later after taking my pieces to a gemologist. I don't like tumbled, it seems too easy to fake. So I'm sticking to raw, bought rose quarts & amethyst. The pricing here seems reasonable. I don't know why people complain "tHe PrIcE iS sO hiGh" when their crystals are probably $2 each & not real. Real anything will cost more (: duh. I have purchased a few Goddess statues that are now a staple to my alter. Their incense are made in house and have a plentiful array of fragrances. One of my favorite things about Gypsy love is that their smudging sage bundles are ethically grown and sourced! Swoon!
