The worst experience I've ever had with a law firm. They represented me for only two weeks,…read moreexhausted a $10,000 retainer, and then claimed I owed nearly twice that amount. When I questioned the invoices, I was told the charges were for multiple attorneys, paralegals, and case managers "reviewing my case" over the phone. I requested call logs and documentation supporting those charges, but none were provided. When I asked them to stop working on my case and requested a refund, I was told to stop engaging. In two weeks, they filed one motion that did nothing to advance my case. Nothing. I later worked with a different legal team who genuinely advocated for me, won my case, and treated me with professionalism and respect. They even complimented how organized my records were, despite this firm blaming me for the state of my case. Mr. Willick also advised me that I could not do something that I ultimately did. I followed through, and it worked out. His legal advice was incorrect. Based on my experience, I received no value for the amount billed. The work they claim they performed does not justify the amount charged. I would not recommend this firm. Whether you're financially secure or already struggling, be very cautious before trusting them with your case and your money.

After 27 months, my divorce was finally finished, and I am writing Yelp reviews again now. My review of the Abrams and Mayo Law Firm has not changed at all because the Mayo lawyers and staff have been my strong supporters. Though sometimes I have been frustrated with them because I didn't receive an answer immediately when I called them, deep down I know that they are working on my case thoroughly and methodically. If that happens, please don't think Mr. Mayo and his staff are neglecting your case. They are proceeding according to their plan and will stick with you until the end to reach the best settlement as they have done for me. My marriage was less than 10 years, my English is not fluent, and my ex-husband is a lawyer (for more than 20 years). Despite this, Mr. Mayo and Mr. Mark (paralegal), have stood by me until the end of my case against all odds and have given me the best settlement I could have asked for. I cannot recommend Abrams and Mayo Law Firm highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported and understood. Going through a divorce is incredibly difficult, but the team at Abrams and Mayo made the process as smooth and painless as possible. They were professional, responsive, and truly cared about my best interests. My attorney, Mr. Mayo, was exceptional, explaining every step and ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. They fought for me and achieved a result that exceeded my expectations. 5 stars all the way!"

My ex is also an attorney and used every trick in the book to delay and complicate our divorce, but Mr. Fleeman stayed steady, professional, and always one step ahead. He knows the law inside and out and demonstrates a deep understanding of the ethical standards set forth by the Bar Association. Christine prepared me extremely well for both the deposition and trial, and the entire team remained responsive, organized, and supportive--even after judgment. Ironically, the only time they were ever "slow" to respond was when I was trying to figure out how to send my final payment after the case was over.
