I had to explain to him that ASDA shuts at 4 not 10 minutes to four not five minutes to four not shot when you feel like it is ASDA it shuts at 4 on a sunday. I heard the security guard say I'm not standing here for my health no it's down in there because he gets paid to stand with that kind of attitude and customer service it's more like a rogue cornershop than a proper store

The shop is full '2 for 3' for example buy 2 get it for cheaper, which usually means that it expires that or the following day. The only meat reasonable here is chicken, other meats Morrisons has better quality. Overall Tesco is a better option with 'free' parking, plastic bags and wagons, their prices they r alike.

The fruit and vegetables in this branch of Lidl are always fresh and reasonably priced. I have heard that Lidl is one of the few supermarkets that have daily deliveries of fresh vegetables rather than storing them for days before selling them. Not everything in Lidl is much cheaper than Tesco or Asda (although it all looks cheaper) but you can find some bargains if you look for them. I love Lidl's stuffed olives, feta cheese and cheesy coleslaw. Lidl also do some nice own brand Jaffa cakes. I have made some bad buys here as well though, buying products I don't need or buying cakes or biscuits that look better than they taste.

Came here to shop our groceries, but also to get some M&S products we love to bring back home. The shop has a decent size, isn't too busy and had what we needed and wanted. Got soda, milk, water, bread, veggies and fruit, crackers, cheese, steaks, chicken, haggis & blood sausage, potatoes, some humus and guacamole dip, toast, beans, sausages, wine and prosecco. Also bought a whole bunch of shortbread cookies, M&S chocolate covered cookies, strawberry cookies, TimTams and lots of toffees to bring home. As usual we liked the products, their quality and their fair prices. Staff was friendly and helpful. M&S just has a good standard we always enjoy, that's why we keep coming back on our trips to the UK. A good shopping experience.
