After my 1st month in my unit had an attempted burglary someone broke my lock off and jammed the lever luckily they couldn't get in. The only positive is the manager Travis trying to make things right by moving me to a different unit however the company decided to raise every one's rates $60 more including mines. Really bad business to raise rates more so with someone that just moved in and attempted burglary. I moved to another storage company at the old Kmart location in which I found a lot more convenient and cheaper and they won't raise the rates on you every month. Extra space storage is losing customers to competition because of raising prices unexpectedly.

They offer a variety of sizes and from time to time they hold auctions. Parking is right out front and convenient for off loading and loading your things. I just found out that my current storage company is raising their rates again, for the third year in a row. I've been with them for 5 years, but the increase is too much for 2026 I knew I had to search for another location and I got lucky. The manager at the Maui Cannery Storage was very helpful. He is knowledgeable and very accommodating. He suggested a few lockers that I was looking for and he always offered me to look at them before making my decision. I found a locker that was more conducive to my needs, and I am happy to say that this locker is bigger than my current locker and it is also $80.00 cheaper per month.
