I've always been a fan of Wahoo's Fish Tacos, especially the Rancho Cucamonga location, which we visited often. We live in Norco now, but for one reason or another hadn't stopped by the Norco location in a while. We went in for lunch yesterday, and I have to say--it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I ordered the Bonsai Burrito, and my wife had the Wahoo Bowl with avocado. Both meals were fresh, flavorful, and filling. Great quality and a solid value for what you get. Maria, the manager, along with the front-of-house staff, were fantastic--friendly, fun, and genuinely welcoming. They made a great meal even better. We'll definitely be back! read more

Checked in yesterday for a cold and refreshing beverage and Ruperto was a very fun and courteous Host! He had a gorgeous Gourmet Variety of different drinks laid out by the front counter and I selected the Sugar Free Bubbly Sparkling Water in Lime to cut back on the sugar. Ruperto was energetic, inviting, and a thoroughly courteous Communicator by letting me know the new Aloha Breakfast Specials were available all day which got me excited to return to sample the new rainbow of fun Spam and Portuguese Sausage Burritos and Tacos the next time I'm in the Plaza! The whole Environment was very clean and comfortable and I loved seeing the other Jefa kindly interact with all Guests in the living room checking in on their day and making sure nobody left without a warm departing goodbye and wishing us a nice and peaceful day. I tried to address the issue with DoorDash, but it required photos, and I didn't take any. My "Ensenada Fish Taco" was ordered w/o cheese, but it came with fish and cabbage, no pico or crema. So it sucked. The spicy "Spicy Ensenada Shrimp Taco" was also missing ingredients and sucked. Why ask what we want on the taco when you are just going to send whatever you want? The "WAHOO'S BOWL" spicy fish came with fish that looked like it had sat on the grill for months. It honestly looked like fish jerky. Actually, it didn't even look like a fish anymore. I didn't realize they were closing soon, but if you don't want to put in the effort, please turn off the app. Spending money on shit food is off-putting. I wouldn't order here again. Took my father in law here for his birthday. The kids and I got the tortilla soup and the Mr. Lee's burrito! My father in law got the reef, with fish as the protein and man! When the burritos got to us, they were massive! We decided to make them wet burritos with the green and red sauce. My husband and I visited this Wahoo's location around 6 PM for a late afternoon meal. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and during our entire visit only one customer came in for a to‑go order. While the quiet atmosphere wasn't an issue on its own, several concerns affected the overall experience. Throughout our meal, we noticed fruit flies around our table, which raised questions about the cleanliness of both the dining area and the kitchen. When I went to the restroom, I also noticed flies there as well, which reinforced the impression that the issue was not limited to one area of the restaurant. Additionally, staff members were cleaning the kitchen floors during service hours. Although I appreciate efforts to maintain a clean environment, this type of cleaning is typically done outside of operating hours and contributed to an impression of disorganization. The food had good flavor, but unfortunately it did not sit well with me afterward. Considering the combination of factors, this visit did not meet the standard we have experienced at other Wahoo's locations, and we are unlikely to return to this one. read more

Haven't had this place in a long time and forgot how delicious the food is. Ordered the 2 taco plate with crispy fish, white rice, and spicy beans. The food was plated well and everything was good. I thought the fish tacos would be like a beer battered fish taco but it was like a cornmeal coating. Nonetheless, it was still very good. read more

Wahoo's definitely did something with their chips for the better. They taste great now. The tacos are even better in the sense that they don't fall apart anymore when you eat it by the time you get half ways. Wahoos man... went here with my girlfriend and boy let me tell you. Those fish tacos were absolutely punchin' and I got to see some cool wall decor like old vintage surfboards and framed pictures. Great touch... the vibe inside was amazing and totally gave off the SoCal living surf vibe. Service was great iced tea was even great man o man. Will definitely be making another visit sometime soon with my girlfriend again. However... How is your establishment named wahoo's and you guys don't even sell THAT PARTICULAR FISH. Unbelievable. "Freshly Made, Pacific Inspired" I visit Southern California a lot and find myself zipping by Wahoo's often. Wahoo's Fish Tacos has been serving the SoCal community delicious fast casual surf food since the 80's. Their food is a mixture of Mexican, Brazilian and Asian fare. They have a great partnership with the surfing and skateboard community and promote several local events. If you have never been, you basically pick your entrée item and one of several options of protein for your entrée. They have combos that come with beans and rice or items a la carte (the portions are pretty generous). The Outer Reef Burro is my usual choice, but the enchiladas are also pretty tasty. In addition to beverages, Wahoo's sells alcohol and has a good selection of beers and margaritas. If you are into stickers, ask for them at the counter. I like to stick them on my laptop or my skateboard. This Wahoo's is off Interstate 15 just outside Anaheim. The good food and the prices always make Wahoo's worth a stop. read more

Really disappointed. Over a two night period I had ordered fish entrees and was dumb founded. They advertised cajon fish, but what I got was over breaded fish crumbles. We haven't been to Wahoo's in a few years. We thought we would give it a try again, after our hiatus. I checked the menu online and it seemed to have a very small selection of entrees. We ordered food to-go. Both my husband and son enjoyed their meals. Me, on the other hand, was highly disappointed. I ordered green enchiladas with chicken, with no tomatoes, onions and cilantro. I am sure there are two types of people this world...you either love or hate cilantro. I HATE cilantro. I had chosen the green sauce because I was told it was not as spicy as the red sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was more like a cilantro sauce instead of a tomatillo sauce. In a perfect world, when I ordered the green sauce, the cashier should have told me that the green sauce was made with (a ton of) cilantro, since I asked for no tomato, no onion and no CILANTRO! PLUS, I asked to substitute the beans for coleslaw. I saw on the menu, this was an extra charge. No problem. Unfortunately, the cashier was not listening since she substituted both the rice and beans for coleslaw. Again, the cashier failed to mention the coleslaw was heavy with cilantro. My dinner was a plate of cilantro, with an extra side of cilantro. So disappointing. Thank goodness the churro chips didn't have any cilantro! read more

The place was a bit busy and only one worker in the front but Julieta was being very friendly and helping everyone out, great multitasking skills. When she took my order she was really helpful in finding the best option for me and it didn't disappoint the food was really good and came out really quick. Love Wahoo's and this location in Norco. It's located next to the urgent care. My go-to is the Outer Reef Fish Burrito with the works. Burrito is legit big for one person (my opinion and trust I'm a little fatty, love food). Restaurant is clean and staff are friendly and am greeted every time I walk in. If I'm in a hurry, I will order online and pick-up. So far no issues with getting the incorrect order. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and are craving a good fish burrito. I was considering 3 stars only because the steak in the Maui bowl tasted good. However, I ended up with 2 stars, thinking I should do just 1 because everything else I got was such a disaster. I spent $29.94 and TOTALLY regret it! I'm just going to write out a play-by-play of my experience and let you, yes you, the reader, decide for yourself. For my To-Go order, I got the Maui Bowl with brown rice ( $0.25 upcharge) with spicy white beans. The rice was under the beef in the main section of the To-Go container and also in a side portion of the To-Go container, so it was almost like I ordered "Extra Rice," which I did not. There were only beans in one of the small side sections of the To-Go container, which if I had a choice, I would have got both small sections of the To-Go container with beans instead because the portion of beans I did get was about a half scoop of the available space in one of the smaller sections of the container. I ordered Spicy Salmon and Shrimp al a carte on the side, which came in a styrofoam side container for each. The plastic lid on the salmon was broken and the spicy sauce went everywhere, literally everywhere. There was also a hole in the bag, so I am sure you can guess it was a sloppy mess. I also ordered salsa and chips. Ate the chips, did not even open or touch the salsa given for that. I got every sauce at the salsa bar. The roasted tomatillo is my usual fave. When I opened the side container that had my salmon it was drenched in what could only be described as spicy oil because of however they cooked it. There were 4 shrimps that were not deveined out of about 11, obviously, I did not eat those. The veggies I ordered al a carte on the side were the last thing I opened, and...oh my lordy, they were NOT a sight for sore eyes. The veggies looked like they went through a cash wash of teriyaki sauce after being minced to a pulp and drenched in water. I literally did not even eat half of them. They were inedible. The food altogether was less than fresh, in the picture of the beef, salmon, and shrimp, it was barely halfway through. After I took this picture I threw the rest away because I'm not even feeling good, even right now as I write this review. I used to come to this location at least 4 times a month religiously, and I no longer live in the area as of late, so I literally sought this location out. I really regret spending $30 on food that my 16-year-old niece could have made better. This place has gone downhill exponentially and I am sorry to say that after being a die-hard Wahoo's fan, I'm tapping out. I don't want to risk ordering from another location and have the same experience. The other thing that was really weird is the side door to the patio was locked during business hours and guests were instructed to shut the door behind them, which literally no one did. Therefore the picture of the patio door is open; slightly ajar. It clearly is a state law that "This door to remain unlocked during business hours." Since the door kept remaining ajar after many people were on the patio coming in and out, the older employee lady kept coming over to shut it. I tipped after I placed my order at the register and waited for about 15 minutes for my food. When they called my name I asked for lemon or lime wedges on the side, that same employee screeched, "I put everything in the bag!" I said, "Awesome, thank you, that is not what I asked though." Then she proceeded to squeal again aggressively, "I put everything in the bag." I said, "Thank you but I was asking if I could get lime or lemon wedges please." Even then she proceeded to act as though she didn't understand me and the cashier boy had to ask her to get lime or lemon wedges for me. She finally did while displaying an immense attitude, which is whatever, but since I tipped y'all I would think she would at least be semi-kind about it. But no, she did not hide the fact that she was bothered, flustered, and frustrated with my "extra" request. Not like the lime and lemon wedges helped the flavor or the food, but I usually love citrus with salmon and shrimp (not this time, disgusting regardless). At least I know not to go to Wahoo's anytime soon. In-n-out here I come! read more

I absolutely love this location! Service is quick, and the staff is always so nice. Food is always fresh and delicious as always. I ordered the banzai bowl which stated it had some teriyaki veggies and I loved it! The portion is large for me and so I took half to go to eat for dinner. Salsa bar is always loaded, and clean. Wahoo's is a casual restaurant, where you order your food and they bring it to your table. So, it's not a full service place. It has a surfer/skater vibe with random stickers plastered around the restaurant. At this location, I tried their Wet Burrito and it was pretty disappointing. It was too wet and soggy and lacked flavor. At another recent visit, I got their #2 Entree plate with the Carne Asada Enchilada and Carnitas Taco. Now, this entree classic was what I remember Wahoos for - it was tasty. So, if you come here without high expectations, you'll enjoy your meal. But go the other direction, you'll give this place one star...And really this Wahoo's does not deserve one star - that's mean! read more

Whew. Awful food in my opinion. Place was not busy for lunch time either which could be a tell tale sign. The tables were a bit dirty suggesting they do not get wiped down often. The staff were nice and helpful. The decor was beach vibe surf city. I liked that. The food is what I wanted to try and it disappointed. The tacos were room temp. Not warm enough. The sauces they use taste weird. For me anyway. Rubio fish tacos are very good compared to these tacos. And two small tacos with a side of rice for $15 bucks? No thank you. Rubio a much better deal. Lee and general manager Eric MADE this visit. I drove an hour and a half from Palm Springs just to come for lunch. My sister took me here 13 years ago and it blew my mind. I love Travis Barker and this was just amazing. I had to come back. Meeting and talking to the staff, this made it just as special as the first time I visited. We talked about Travis Barker, Ché and Lil Chris, Coachella Fest, DJ AM, and the kindness of strangers. I was so happy to come back, and they saw, that they gave me free stickers. What a crew! He gave us stickers for our first time here. I don't care how old you are, everyone loves stickers. 3. Gave us a backstory of the history of their location and that it's owned by Travis Barker pointing out all the memorabilia and it's origins . 4. Took the time to breakdown the menu and what are the most popular items , gave added recommendations and details about how the plates are prepared. He has huge personality , makes the fast food experience feel like you're talking /hanging out with a buddy. I haven't tried the tacos yet but just for the service alone we'd come back.
