Some positives and negatives on my experience at Wahoo Meat Locker. They do have a large selection,…read moresome fresh stuff and a ton of frozen stuff. We tried some filet mignon and also a ribeye. I had a slight issue with how the filet was cut. It wasn't the prettiest and shape was odd rather than a continuous circle. When I got home, I also noticed that it was not a nice red color but had oxidized somewhat and smelled a little vinegary or sour. Decent marbling, but I would've liked a little more for a filet. The ribeye was nicely cut, trimmed of excess gristle, and had no issues with it. Glad we tried something new to us, this place has been around for a while, but not sure it'll warrant another trip from Omaha.

After waiting 2.5 hours in my work day for the '1 hour' oil change, I came back again and waited another hour for this 'quick fix' as no one was there or answering the call for assistance in their system. I asked a Walmart associate to send someone to auto to help me and this did not seem to help things. I asked another associate who walked back with me to get someone, and then they came out to fix this for me. They told me how to fix this if it happens again, but did not mention this was their fault or something I should not have to do after paying $90 for an oil change. This was disappointing. The Walmart itself is fine, I've come in many times and also used their pickup (only had issues once when no one came out and I went in to find and grab my order which was sitting out luckily). Just stay away from their auto center as wait times are FAR longer than they should be!

I've warmed up to the house brand fizzy water and accept that they run on the sweeter side. We also picked up a nice travel neck pillow, as we left one at home. There were 2 neck pillows that were identical, one blue and the other black. For some unknown reason the black one was a couple buck cheaper than the blue one. Not being picky about color, we chose the less expensive black color neck pillow. This location has a nice clean restroom here, with purse hooks on bathroom stall door placed at a reasonable height. Unlike the ones at the Lexington store where they are mounted 6 ft high... a challenge for short girls. There are water fountains by the restrooms. While browsing the store, I was surprised to find the electronics dept selling a flip phone. Do people still buy these? It was a pretty thick phone, too!
