She explained everything clearly and went over all the products she'll be using during the process. The facial felt relaxing but also effective, my skin looked noticeably fresher afterward. What I loved most was how hydrated and smooth my skin felt immediately after. The products used didn't leave my face feeling heavy, burning or greasy, and my complexion looked more even and radiant. By the next day, my skin still felt soft and healthy, not just "temporary glow." Overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommend 10/10.

They have several locations, but the one in Rogers Park is what I prefer. The website does not specify that Saturdays is WALK IN ONLY. I kept trying to do a waitlist, when finally they called me to say they cannot book on Saturdays, it is only walk in. They open at 9:30 and advised me to arrive by 9:15. I arrived at 9:15am on a Saturday. There was already a customer waiting. I walked in and the lady at the desk said they were open but no technicians were available at the moment. They come in as they please on Saturdays. I went to run an errand and left my number. I was not optimistic for a while, but after sitting inside and reading for half an hour or so some technicians came in. At some point 2 hair appointments were taken, and Melissa the student took me next. I explained I wanted a Spa pedicure and no chip manicure. She sounded a little unsure about the difference between regular and Spa Pedicures, but she had a very friendly demeanor. I went to the back room (no windows like where the hair salon is) and sat. I looked through the colors I wanted for each procedure. A few were on the wall, but most were in plastic storage bins. Melissa was careful with my feet, I liked the chair and warm water. She was fun to talk to and played calming sounds from her phone, as the music did not reach the back room. For my fingers I wanted Plum or dark red, but I chose a Mood Color, which changes when your temperature changes! I liked the color, she showed me on her phone what it looked like in hot vs cold water. She did well with moisturizing and trimming the cuticles, but the color went on a little uneven. I am not sure if this was the technique or the substance itself but I hoped it would even out later. I got a fall discount, so that was nice, and they asked me to consider a membership but I declined. There was a poster on the wall, in marker, of the procedure for a basic pedicure. I thought a school would at least have professionally printed instructions. I suggested they add more shelves to showcase the nail color and not have us look through bins, and Melissa agreed, but if they seem to do more hair than nails. I left and said everything was fine but I did mention the uneven coverage. About a day later a little polish chipped off my toenail, and after the 3rd or 4th day, I have lost 2 fill-ins! I would maybe go back if I make an appointment for a weekday and take a day off. Apparently Saturdays are make-up days for the technicians who want to earn extra hours.

It looks so much nicer inside than last time I was there! It doesn't feel as outdated anymore. My hair is very long so I couldn't sit in the chair for my cut, and Cayla did an awesome job! She was thorough and l left with shiny, healthier looking hair :) They have little QR codes posted around the stations, but I forgot to scan it before I left, so I wanted to make sure to leave a review here! I had taken off a half day of work so that was fine. At 1:50 I am told there is no one here to do the service. After I toll time off! I was offered a "conditioner" next time. I was booked for color. Don't need a conditioner. I said "how about half off color next time" Nope. Can't do that. So I had to leave. I know it is a school but I had an APPOINTMENT--please CALL next time before I head over and miss work and certainly don't act like it is my problem and I should accept the gift of a servie I do not want or need. I did very well on my exams and feel confident that I will do well on the state board exam.
