My tiny dog got tossed out because he got sprayed by a skunk in his mouth. They sent me a email telling me my dog had to stay home 2 weeks, which I didn't read because I get about 200 emails a day and didn't see it. Did they say anything to me the TWO times I dropped him off? Not a word. So those two days I paid full price to have him locked up in a crate ALL DAY!! Then they called me and started yelling at me on the phone being totally disrespectful. No thanks Wagtime. I'll take my dog elsewhere. PS. I have been taking dogs to Wagtime (formerly Lindas Doggie Playland) for over 20 years. When my last dog died in May I didn't think I'd get another but here I am with a new puppy! She started at Wagtime today and had a blast! They even sent me a video of her playing in the yard with her new friends. Over the past years we have tried 2 dogs there. The first was a gentle and quiet border collie. She is a bit shy and reacted to another dog on her interview trial day. The other dog was a boxer/catahula mix and the same thing happened. He was taken out to meet the other dogs and reacted when being sniffed. While I understand they do not want aggressive dogs, most dogs take a day or two to acclimate to a new environment. A 10 minute trial does not seem fair. Neither dog had ever been aggressive and were used to other dogs. If they had been willing to introduce them to the pack slowly, the outcome may have been different. My experience with All about the Pup was the opposite. They are willing to trial all dogs without discrimination. read more

I am Lily and Yaz's owner (American mastiff and an English bulldog). Linda's was recommended to me by a coworker who brings her dog there for daycare once a week and boards there too. They make you go in for a 'dog interview' before they agree to board/daycare your dog. They introduce your dog(s) to the pack and let them play for 20 minutes or so. As long as they're not aggressive, you're probably good. I know for a fact that they don't take certain breeds (dobermans, pit bulls, German shepherds) and a few others because they've had issues with them in the past. There are 2 separate play areas for the dogs; one for smaller sized dogs and another for dogs that are probably 30lbs and above. At all times there are a few people out in the yard to make sure everything is okay. From what I understand they go in for meals during the day and have nap time and then go back out to play. Apparently they get classical music when they sleep. My dogs typically go for the classic rock, but plain ole' classical will do. The boarding area is air conditioned and someone sleeps there at night with the dogs. I think we've boarded with them 3 times, each time was a great experience. Most recently our dogs were there for 12 nights while we went on vacation. Though it's not cheap when you're boarding for that long, I trust Linda's with my 2 more than I've trusted them with anyone before. Last time we boarded them, we picked them up on a Monday and other than to go to the bathroom and eat, the dogs did not move off the couch until Thursday, they were so exhausted. I am sure my fat bulldog lost a couple lbs. from playing so much. This place is definitely legit. Bring your dogs here. They'll love it! read more

We are new to the Westboro area, and had been using a previous dog daycare. He really hadnt been in awhile due to some issues with bloody paws. He's a lab so he will play until his legs give out! At the interview we saw our dog play with the others, and he was VERY content. He have since been there a few times and I am happy about the level of play and care he gets. They treat him well! I strongly recommend Linda's but please keep in mind its cash/check only and they do not let you prepay for appointments. You need to call each time you bring your dog, and there can be a wait when you drop off and pick up. I should also note, they don't answer the phone. You have to wait for a call back, but don't let that deter you if you are scheduling an appointment. They are very diligent about calling back! read more

My dog loves Linda's! Actually run by two Linda's, both of whom so obviously love dogs. They have two very large free run fenced in areas, one for mellow dogs and one for more spirited pups. Their philosophy of dog sitting revolves around lots of time running around the big fenced in areas, followed by biscuits and nap time with classical music playing. Honestly, my dog doesnt want to come home when we've left him for a few days at Linda's! I strongly recommend this place. Its just south of Route 9 near intersection with 495. read more

I have been bringing my small dog Tina to Wagtime for almost two years. I drive to Wagtime all the way from Brookline! Tina boards there every few months and also attends day care at Wagtime once a month while I stay around the area and do my errands. People ask me why I travel so far. Well, I've looked in the Boston area but no place compares to Wagtime. Tina pulls me towards the entrance door when we arrive. She cannot wait to get inside. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that your dog is so joyful in a place away from home and also that she is receiving excellent care there as well. Wagtime is a cozy and comfortable cottage filled with lots of love. Although very kind in their response to my inquiry, they do not accept all breeds, including my almost 5 month old German Shepherd puppy. She has been attending (a different) doggie daycare 3-4 days per week for 2 months now (we are switching because she will not be fixed until she is 1 year old and our current daycare has a policy that a dog older than 6 months needs to be fixed) and has been socialized with people and animals since the day we brought her home at 8 weeks. She loves all people and animals and it is not right that they will not let her come in for a temperament test. Sadly, there is a stigma against German Shepherds and this business clearly supports that they are aggressive animals. There are many other daycares that do not discriminate against this breed. I am thankful for the amazing care she has gotten thus far at her current daycare and am more than happy to take my business elsewhere. read more

We have boarded our dog since he was a puppy 12 years now and the transition to Wagtime a couple years ago has been seamless. He loves it and they take great care of him as he has gotten older. As soon as we get a block away from Linda's, my pooch starts her excited whine! She can't wait to get into the facility. Linda's offers daycare & boarding. I've used them for both. They have outdoor runs where the dogs rotate out to play in suitable groups. If I forget or don't have time to feed my dog in the morning, they'll feed her when she comes back inside for a rest. They have someone on-sight overnight (which lessens my anxiety when I have to be away) In the summer, they're great about rotating them back inside to the air-conditioning often. They're great people that really observe & know every single dog & their behaviors. I'm a no-frills kind of person---I don't care how pretty things are as long as my dogs are treated well. The employee's of Linda's are real dog people (not just people who love dogs)--- I'm moving an hour away next month--although I'll no longer be able to use them for daycare, it's worth the drive for me to still use Linda's for boarding when I'm away. read more

We love Linda's or better yet, our dogs LOVE Linda's Doggie Playland!! We have 2 dogs, our 9 year old Berner and 9 month old Berner. Our 9 year old has been going to Linda's since day 1 and loves it and now our puppy loves it there too! The staff is great and we know our dogs are in good hands, they know and love the dogs and update you on anything that may have happened that day or if your dogs made some new friends, etc. They play all day, get nap and snack time and come home exhausted from playing with friends. I tried to bring my dog here for the first time and the lady who works there was very rude and didn't even greet my dog. She informed me that "I just can't bring my dog there without calling." I have been bringing my dogs to Linda's since 2001 and have never considered going anywhere else for daycare or boarding since then. The owners and staff have truly cared about my last dog as well as my current one just as if they were their own. The outside play yards are expansive and are constantly monitored by staff members to ensure the safety of the dogs while at play. Along with making sure the dogs are having fun and getting to run freely, it gives me great peace of mind to know that the safety and well being of the my dog is always the main concern during her stay there. I have met people from miles away who will travel the extra distance to board their dog at Linda's because of the extreme care and love that their dog gets during daycare or an extended boarding stay. I always recommend them to any of my dog loving friends. They are the best ! read more

They were very nice over the phone, but do not take a handful of certain breeds. Including at the time my 5 month old German Shepherd who has had socialization with other dogs since birth. I find it to be discriminatory to not even do an evaluation with all dogs to see their social behaviors; they are definitely losing business with denying "certain breeds" - too bad! read more

Linda's Doggie Daycare is a great place and clearly they care about their dogs. However, our baby (and she is our baby) went in for a 'trial' day before we went for a week vacation and came home with an eye infection. Then, during the week there (too late to find another place) she got Kennel Cough. Total vet cost was more than the very expensive boarding. It was just sad for us as we were excited with the quality but we just can't trust to leave her there again. read more

We bring our dog Oscar here every Thursday. To say he loves it here is an understatement. Oscar whines the whole way there because he is so excited- and cries when we leave because he is sad to leave all his friends (especially his buddy Sammy). He is also completely exhausted and has burned off some of the energy he has been storing up all winter long. The dogs have a huge fenced in area to run around and the people that work at Linda's are so welcoming. I feel like they treat Oscar like he is one of their own dogs and take the time to watch out for him during the day. They even have a naptime for the dogs and play classical music so they will relax. I've been taking my elderly husky to Linda's for quite a few years now and the care and love that she receives is incredible. Two years ago we also started taking our puppy there and he has acclimated nicely. The entire staff is friendly and are all true dog lovers. The owners treat your dog like their own and I can't ever imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. My dogs love going there too. All I have to do is mention "LINDA'S" to them and all chaos breaks loose. Linda's Doggie Playland is the most wonderful to place to board your dog for the day or overnight. For the past 15 years, I have boarded 2 dogs multiple times at Linda's: Skyler a Westie, and Cooper a Coton du Tulear. Both dogs LOVED being there, always jumping out of the car and running to the front door when we arrived. Leaving my dogs at Linda's was like leaving my dogs with family, only better, because they played and socialized all day with other dogs. My Westie, Skyler, had medical issues, and Linda administered medications and monitored any changes in his health. They are like the "dog whisperers" to me, learning each dog's personality and loving each one. My dogs are my children, and I have complete peace of mind when they are being cared for at Linda's Doggy Playland. I give them the highest possible recommendation. read more

We bring our shepherd/lab mix puppy here for boarding and daycare. He absolutely loves going there and we never worry about him while we're gone. They know all of the dogs by name as soon as they see them and take great care of them.
