This place doesn't deserve any stars at all. I had a horrible experience. Both my dog and I are traumatized. I feel like a terrible dog mom for even going here and giving them my money. I called to make sure that they did walk-in nail trims and to see if I needed to bring in my dog's vaccination records. The man on the phone told me that I did. The young man greeted us at the door and asked what service we were there for. I told him a nail trim and he immediately tried to take my dog. I asked if he needed to see his vax records or if I needed to do any paperwork. He said no. Then he PICKED UP my 80 pound dog to CARRY him from the front door to the back. I was shocked and confused. I said, "Um, he will follow you back, you don't need to carry him..." He said, "Oh, it's fine." While I waited, I sat in disgust and horror as I took in my surroundings. I could hear my dog whimpering and whining, which he literally never does. It smelled like pee and cigarette smoke. There was fur all over the carpet in the lobby. The area that I'm assuming is the dog play area, was covered in hairballs, and a pile of feces. Beyond that, was the grooming room... which was the nastiest sight and made me extremely uncomfortable. It was absolutely covered in fur, toys, and trash on the floor and the table space. I literally left wanting to vomit. As I was leaving, I drove around a little bit and noticed that their outside fenced in area was quite small and part of the fence was broken enough to where a small dog could easily escape. This place needs to be shut down. I would not recommend it to anyone at all. The single star can be for the young man who was nice and fast, but that's the only positive thing I have to say. Definitely not worth my $10. read more

Would not recommend this place. It's a trashed office type area and has a terrible smell. My dog usually enjoys going places and did NOT want to be there. I paid $70 for a "de-shed" but they did a terrible job. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Avoid! read more

New location *** I went to Republic it they are. Is in Springfield on republic road - about a 15 minute difference. Our pup loves to be outside and he has had a ball this winter laying puddles and rolling in mud. Frankly, the boy looked ruff. Pun intended. One never does know when spring is here and the snow is gone but with the warmer temperatures we knew it was time to beautify the pup and get all his matting and fun with yet days gone. Great customer service, good environment and my pups are always happy when they leave. My dog, Alfie, has hyperkeratosis on his paws and is very sensitive when it comes time to get them trimmed down. They do an excellent job when it comes to calming and being patient with him. I highly recommend this business if you're looking for above and beyond service. read more

If you are looking for a groomer who will be great to your pets as well as to you, then this is the place to go. I want to thank them for taking such great care of our three babies. We've had a lot going on for awhile now and or three babies were in need of some serious beautifying! That didn't make me feel bad for getting behind on grooming and even though they spent most of Tuesday with our babies getting them back to good shape and rid of the mats, they were nothing but filled with Grace and Love for me and never once made me feel bad. To be honest I would give this place a zero if I could. I just recently moved here from out of state and was looking for a new groomer for my miniature schnauzer. The young man at the front appeared to be high on some type of drug. I'm not saying he is on drugs but he appeared to be. I had a bad feeling from the moment I walked in. But when he drug my dog by her leash to the back as she was flipping and flopping on the ground and crying I imediately told him to give me my dog I was leaving. Also the place was dingy and dirty not a soul in there but the young man that I seen. Just a horrible establishment and really should not be up and running. "Be ready to be charged a lot extra for services you did not ask for and then be full on yelled at by the male owner. (Husband and wife own the place) My experience: I've been here a few times before and it was a pleasant experience. My puppy NEVER received any bad remarks from the groomers when I would pick him up. He tends to tinkle a little when he is nervous but they said it was to be expected and it was no worry at all. But this last experience I had with them was a whole different story, there was a man there this time when I went to pick up my dog. Come to find out this man is the owner also the husband to the lady that groomed my dog this time around. This man tells me my total and it is almost DOUBLE what I am normally charged. This place will just add on whatever extra charges without any heads up. When I said I would not be paying the extra amounts for services I did not agree to have done, this man stood up and started full on yelling at me, threatening me and just attempting to intimidate me. It was the most disrespectful encounter I have ever experienced in my entire life. I will not be returning nor do I recommend this place to anyone. They are not honest nor kind." read more

We took are two yorkie dogs in for a basic groom. An hour later the groomer calls and informs me that my dog has a yeast infection and wants me to approve the use of a medicated shampoo that will cost ten dollars more. I said no thank you as we have a regular vet that we use. The groomer then told me that she had to charge me ten dollars more per dog because it took her longer than expected. I refused and said that was not acceptable as she should have told be about extra fees before completing any services on my dogs. The owner then proceeds to accuse/threaten of with animal abuse. We had to pick our dogs up half groomed and still pay basically full price for services not rendered. They only took five dollars off the price for a job/service that was only half complete. Very unsatisfied with the grooming service and customer satisfaction. read more

This is a great little shop. The groomers were excellent and very friendly. The prices were affordable. We had our large golden retriever get a basic groom, toenail clipping, trim, and deshedding treatment (fabulous if your dog is as hairy as ours). Our dog is terrified of literally everything, so it was important to me that she be taken care of by people who would be gentle with her. All Wags to Whiskers delivered. And she looks beautiful. I have a Yorkie mix and a Maltese and this is where I take them both. I'm still working to find the length I like on my Yorkie and they are patiently working with me to help me find it! My Maltese is now just 14 weeks, she was about 11 or 12 weeks when she had her first visit and she was absolutely perfect! I've not had a complaint yet. I want to give this place ZERO STARS. When this place first opened I thought they were great--but I went back today and let me tell you it was AWFUL. I wanted go throw up as soon as I walked into the door with the overwhelming smell of how disgusting this place was. I've been to plenty of places to get my dogs nails done but the carpet was filthy with pee spots, you can smell and see poop, dust and fur collecting EVERYWHERE. The guy who took my dog just didn't look right and before I could leave he swooped her up and I could hear her crying along with all the other dogs either barking or crying as well. My sweet girl hasn't cried getting her nails done and when she came out her nails were uneven, she looked stressed, and very upset. I want nothing to do with this place and will NOT be returning. I can imagine that with the way the entry way looked that the back looks the same way. Please save yourself a trip and do not take your pets here. read more

Reading the other reviews makes me think they were done by family/friends of the business. Truth is, the owner has an attitude and her daughter's, who is one of the groomers, is even worse. The quality of work is lacking as well. I would advise making an appointment somewhere else. This place always has time for walk ins for a reason. read more

I couldn't get into my regular groomer and decided to give this place a chance. The shop itself is dingy and dirty looking. My gut instinct on first impression was to turn around and not leave my dog. However, I was going to be in the vicinity and thought that the grooming wouldn't take more than an hour or so. They had my dog for 5 HOURS! Not only did it take a ridiculous amount of time, it was $20 higher than my regular groomer. But that isn't the worst thing about this place. My dog became ill within 12 hours of being there with an upper respiratory infection. My vet confirmed it and $150 later, my baby is on two antibiotics and an anti inflammatory. NEVER again. I regret ever walking into this establishment and trusting these incompetent people with my dog. In my opinion, this place should be shut down and the "groomers" not allowed to touch another animal again. This place deserves zero stars. read more

I purchased a Goldendoole from the owner and she has repeatedly refused to give me his birthday. I drove from Michigan and finally arrived around midnight for pickup.
