UPDATE: Owner response was quick and positive. I appreciate the responsiveness and hope the staff member receives positive coaching. I dropped in Saturday (?) morning and was asked did I have an appointment. I said "no, but the website said walk ins are welcome". Immediately the lady behind the counter responded, "No it doesn't." Full stop. I said ok, and walked out. Now I may have been thinking of another website and gotten them mixed up because when I was looking for places to get my dogs nails trimmed I looked at several different sites. But as someone who has been in customer service for many many years this is not how I would have handled this interaction. I would have said something like hmmmm, I wonder if maybe you're thinking of another grooming salon? Or even, perhaps you've got us mixed up with someone else's site? Unfortunately we do require appointments, I'm sorry. See that's called positive constructive interaction with your customer or your potential customer. This woman seemed to have no interpersonal skills I could ascertain in the short amount of time we interacted. I don't know what kind of day she was having but the experience turned me off of this salon which is really too bad because it's really close to my home and I have two large dogs and a husky that I would love to have brought here for nail trims and grooming but this kind of abrupt flat out denial of my mistaken belief they accepted walk-ins was really off putting. This was Saturday morning and she was an older lady light hair, Caucasian. I hope she's not the owner because one would think that an owner would be better with public interaction. It's okay to correct your customer but it should be done gently so as to not alienate them. read more

Cyndi, Cyndi, Cyndi. She's top notch!! I've been taking my kitty to her quite a few times and she always does a great job. Well this time, I had to push out when I could bring Kiki in. So she got a bit more matted than usual. She refuses to let me brush her. So Cyndi recommended a lion cut to get her in good shape. Kiki is a very long haired cat. Full disclosure, I was a little nervous...it was the first time Kiki ever did something like that. Kiki looks SOOO cute and the lion cut is pure perfection. Thank you Cyndi! read more

Cyndi and staff are so amazing. Beyond doing an awesome grooming job on my pets, they are friendly, caring and compassionate. I have a malinois who can be a bit quirky, but he does great with them. And the haircuts on my poodle are always spot on. Definitely recommend them. read more

I'm fostering some poodles and got recommended through a friend to give them a try. It seems like they rushed through the cuts. They're very botchy on the parts that are supposed to be short. Their sanitary areas are also long and short in some areas. Pen also wouldnt stop shaking his head and I realized they still had alot of wax in them and had to clean them out myself. When picking up the dogs I was told they did great so I'm not sure why the haircuts look half hearty done. For the price of these grooms I'm very disappointed. They're leaving for their forever homes tomorrow or I definitely would have asked them to come back another time and have the issues fixed. I would not recommend if you have a larger dog and expect a specific breed cut. Probably okay for basic grooming or baths. read more

The people seemed bored and uninterested in what they were doing when I walked in. Took four hours for my cat to be groomed and when I picked her up and got her home I realized her nail was bleeding. I have NEVER seen nails cut this short in my life. Everyone knows not to cut that short because they bleed and cause pain. Their response was "it happens more than you think, being her back and we'll put quick stop on it". No "I'm so sorry for that what can we do to fix this?" Or "please let us do something to make up for this error". Just oops it happens‍ Won't be going back. What a shame. read more

I've been taking my 4 cats to this groomer for a while and it used to be great but has seriously gone downhill in the last 3 visits. They only spent 20 minutes to brush out my cats and getting them home it seems they did absolutely nothing. They are shedding like crazy still, I just spent the last 45 minutes doing it myself. I brought my dog down for a wash and nail trim, the website says it is $125 for "giant" size dog but when I picked her up I was charged $180! I asked why and was told because she's a big girl. This is false advertising for services. When I dropped off my dog someone could have said something about extra charges but nothing until I picked her up. She's only 110lbs hardly a monster. They did a very good job cleaning and trimming her nails but $180! Not again for that price. If the price was going to be higher someone should have said that when I brought her in or called me and informed me but the lack of communication wasn't good. Made an appointment here because my Maine Coon boy was getting matted fur in his armpits. (He's a lazy groomer!) I took him in for a brush pit and mat removal, but they went above and beyond! Not only did he get his mats out, but he was brushed, his belly fur was thinned out, and he got a bath. He came home smelling sweet and looking fabulous! I love Wags, they are always so good to my boy, especially after the vet had to muzzle him and recommended for him to be medicated for nails. Once I took him to Wags, there was no medication needed. Since regular baths he has little to no allergy symptoms. Their medicated baths work wonders and he LOVES them, which is surprising because he doesn't like baths at home. Then River Feed told me WAGS was open and they were the ladies from 49er. I went home, made an appt. Ok, so in all honesty- I have never groomed my cat. No haircuts, baths- just a hairbrush when she occasionally sits on my lap long enough. I took my cat Tupelo to WAGS today and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was great! They clearly have connections to animals and immediately had Tupelo out and happy. They were able to bathe her and shave her! I didn't know I could have her hair cut so short- and it is so much better because now she won't get fox tails in her fur. Will def be back and will also be bringing my dog here. 10/10 would recommend! read more

I've been a customer for years, but not any more. I made an appt to have my cat's nails cut as I do on a regular basis. Upon arriving, no one was available to come out and take her. After a few minutes I looked through the window and saw no one. I knocked to no avail. I honked my horn, nada! I left to run an errand and returned a few minutes later. Long story short, in follow up emails, manager Cyndi accused me of lying about my previous visit! She said there was no camera footage of first visit! Only repeat one! She also said someone was being helped outside the front door at the exact same time as my first visit and it was caught on camera! Unbelievable! Why make up lies to cover up their mistake? The ladies here are very busy and do not have time for good customer interaction. Be prepared for a rough greeting if you are not a regular. They are also slow to respond to emails for appointmens.
