Please do your research on this place. I was looking for a dog to fit my lifestyle and found a french bulldog. Right off the bat something was wrong. The worker that was there to answer some questions for me didn't know what dog I had with me or the age ( I was told first 6 months then 6 years while online it said 4 years old). I was also first quoted $200 for the dog. When I didn't make a decision right away I was told to leave the room since "another family was going to see" the dog. Even though it was only 15 minutes before closing. Then when I wanted to go and adopted the dog I came back 4 days later and was quoted $600. Since a french bulldog is "expensive and we want to be sure that the dog is going to a family that is financially able to afford her". After I left I was texted and quoted $205 for the French bulldog. It was a whirlwind. I felt like no one knew what they were saying as I kept getting incorrect information right after another.

We had a great experience here with the adoption process. I was a little hesitant since there were so many negative reviews. I can only write on our experience only. We visited 3 times before adopting teenage cat. They were very helpful and they were quite busy as well so it took a bit to get through the process. We did the online application and met our lil man and took him to his forever home. I can understand when people have set their eyes on a specific adoptee online as we saw some that were adopted right away. But we are happy that they find homes too. So if you're interested, best go there and spend some time. There's an adult male cat named Hefty for anyone who's looking for the most affectionate cat. We would have adopted him but we have a 1year old and wanted one that was similar to her age.

We adopted Bruiser formerly known as Truffle about 2 and a half weeks ago already and our hearts are so full of love for him. Bruiser gets along with our 3 crazy dysfunctional cats and has taken the role of man of the house. Bruiser enjoys walks and basking in the sun. Although he came home with a pretty bad upper respiratory infection it's nothing his momma can't deal with. Bruiser is definitely a spicy chihuahua but he's loving the life we were allowed to give him. Thank you to the multiple employees that helped make this possible!

If you are looking for your next pet this is a great place to go. The staff really cares about the animals. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. I fostered through WAGS and it was such a wonderful experience to see my foster pup get adopted into her forever home. If you are serious about being a pet owner or foster please stop by WAGS. Remember, adopt don't shop! Also, if you are friendly and love animals please consider volunteering.

We adopted our cat Remi about 10 months ago when she was a 2 month old kitten. She has grown to be a wonderful and healthy companion. This shelter is always clean and the staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. I love how you can enter the kitten/cat rooms and play with all of them. It makes the process of selecting a kitten so much easier because we can really get a feel for their personality. They often have an adopt one get one free promotion which is nice if you're looking for two animals. This is also nice for bonded pairs of kittens. Thank you WAGS for your hard work and dedication to caring for our city's animals.

Pollyanna. She's living her best life.

I went in just to see what kind of cats they had. I found a sweet little girl. She meowed at me. I picked her up and she wouldn't let me go.

DO NOT ADOPT FROM HERE!! I adopted my sweet baby kitty Finn (originally named Nero) from here and he had a medical history, which is fine, however they passed his cross eyes and major eye watering as "normal" and "nothing to worry about". 2 months later I learn he's had FIP (basically a mutated feline coronavirus) for A WHILE NOW and he unfortunately passed away. I'm extremely upset and heartbroken that my sweet boy has moved on and extremely angry at this place for giving me false information. I have a history with owning cats and made sure I asked the appropriate questions making sure he was okay and if I needed to get him checked out and they assured me my boy was 100% fine. Please choose somewhere else until these people become a bit more educated so they don't kill another animal.

I have been fostering kittens from WAGS for many years and I absolutely love this place! They provide everything I need food wise, I just provide the shelter and love :-) Also, do you have time to volunteer a couple of hours? How about would you be willing to do a little bit of laundry to help them? I highly encourage you to! Thank you for taking care of some of this city's most unfortunate animals!

I spoke with our hosts over the phone before the party. They answered all of my questions, offered to configure the lobby for our needs, and assured me that there would be several volunteers assisting on the night of the party. We loved hosting such a unique party. All our daughter's friends were mesmerized by the cats. With so many cats in multiple rooms (kitten room, main room, quiet room), each of the girls and adults found their "spot" and had a great time. There was more than enough space for the 23 guests we had The cats were so sweet and fun. With dozens of cats in the same room, you might think that the cats would be fighting or disruptive, but it was just the right mix of calm and playfulness. We brought in pizza and cupcakes, which we set up in the lobby. Cat Nap graciously provided tablecloths and some paper goods. The lobby is small and doesn't have the space for seating, but the girls didn't mind standing or sitting on the floor while they ate. They were eager to get back to the cats, so we didn't spend much time with the food. The volunteers absolutely blew us away with their hospitality. They offered to help us set up and haul trash, and they provided a first aid kit to a couple of our guests who got scratched by the kitties. They answered questions from our curious guests, and they kept the space very clean through the whole evening. Overall, we are so happy to have hosted a party at Cat Nap! Several of our guests are now asking their parents to have their birthday parties there, too!

Found something crazy to complain about and framed it as if I'm dangerous and irresponsible. I have straight A's and a masters degree in business. I own two properties. I make six figures 2 times over. I cherished my cat she was like a child to me. We played for hours. I would have traded everything I own to get her back. She dies and here I am day 5, 8+ hours filling out online applications. These rescues/shelters don't even get back to you. They just use the applications to get tax dollars, and keep the animals to weaponize the 501C3 not-for-profit as a donation tool. Go to Tustin, see how many animals they have. 25 million dollar facility and they have 25 kittens and 3 cats. Where do the thousands of animals off the street go? Do they kill them in the back? I swore years ago I would never deal with another shelter or rescue years ago. At one point I gave up and it was over a year before I eventually adopted my little love. Now here we are, these filthy beaurocrats serving themselves and acting the broker of power. Don't use these organizations. They are a complete waste of time. Adopt privately -Sean Clarke
