We had an absolute blast! My friends and I, from Florida, took a vacation and stayed in the loft cabin on the property. The cabin was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was so kind and such a delight! We did the gold panning, gem mining, wagon ride, and paintball gallery. The bathrooms were kept super clean. Ok, so this place is everything you want to find in the middle of nowhere:) My children, ages 4-12, all had fun. The staff was sweet and patient even when my littles were rambunctious in the office. We did all the activities except the mini car track(cars not working) and the bounce house. The bounce house had a snake in it which one of the staff removed BY HAND! My children thought this lady was a super hero, lol! It was pretty badass. If you are near Murphy and you have kids, don't skip this place. This is one of the finest family day trips you could have in the mountains! Debbie and Jim were fantastic hosts! Our family of 5 experienced a ton of activities and my oldest was really happy about their air gun range. At the end if our day, we hopped aboard a western wagon to see beautiful views. It was a fun day, packed with excitement for our family. Also had cozy picnic spaces where we had lunch. Gem mining had extra cool surprises for lil ones. Playground was perfect for our younger children, and bounce house was a blast, too! Putt putt golf was also a lot of fun! Loved every minute!! read more

This place had a lot more things than I honestly expected. The putt putt was a disappointment, but it was still something to do. Nothing like a real putt-putt course. The airsoft and paintball were a huge hit.... probably the favorite thing. We were unable to do gold mining because they were out of the dirt (it's brought in). I was really excited to do gem mining, but my excitement was quickly dashed when I realized it was planted gems. In retrospect it makes sense. If you dig up dirt from one place you'll get just tiny bits of probably one or two kinds of rocks. As an adult you know the deal, but my son was blissfully unaware and very excited about everything he got. He even found a shark's tooth... in a tiny plastic baggy. The staff was very nice, friendly, and engaging. That's the real reason for the 5 stars. If I was just rating the facility it would be 3.5 or 4. But the staff made the experience a 5 and certainly a place we will come to again. read more

All of you who left 5 stars must not get out much. We left as soon as we got there because they had no food. How does a place that calls itself an "adventure park" have no food? Besides when we returned after eating (drove all the way out there after all) we spent over $40 for about 5 minutes of gem mining (large family package) which basically consisted of just washing the very loose dirt off the stones, couldve done it without water and another 5 minutes shooting paintballs. Might as well just hand people a bag of gems in the store instead ...what a joke! I had low expectations going in and still disappointed due to these extremely flattering reviews. If you value your hard earned cash dont bother. Relpy- We were never offered any pizza or any other snacks other than candy, we wouldve been open to microwavable snacks had it been mentioned. read more

If you are looking for some good wholesome outdoor entertainment near Murphy, this place has great activities for the kids and parents. How refreshing to see kids playing and having fun without their heads in their electronics. Our son had a great time at "The Ranch" where he enjoyed mining for gems and racing the kid sized cars doing the tractor rides around the property and even getting to target shoot with the paintball guns (and skeet shooting is available for the adults aka "big kids"). The adults also enjoyed the tractor ride and viewing all the property with some lovely views. There is lots of room if you bring along a football or frisbee, etc and we noticed an outdoor volleyball court. We were there in July so it could get a bit warm so we appreciated the shaded areas, including the putt putt golf and our son loves the bounce house with the cool sprinkler. There were more activities and even though we did not stay on property, I noticed they had cabins for rent. They also had information on local boat tours of the lake and that was also a great time. Wagon master is awesome! If you are expecting DisneyWorld, you will be disappointed. This was our second time coming here. It is very quaint and there were only two other families there. A young man was working and he was very personable and nice. We had a picnic lunch that we brought. No one around but us! We did the gem mining first and the kids each got a bunch of gems. They also asked if the kids wanted more gems or a prize. They chose a prize to which each got an arrowhead necklace. Then they shot the paintballs. The young man gave them each proper direction to handle the paintball gun. The paintball was their favorite! It is not aiming at each other but a staged room with various objects as targets. Lastly we did mini golf. We must have missed the score sheets, but that's fine. Great place, very simple. Kids had a great time!! read more

We just loved our week vacation at Wagonmaster Ranch and could go on forever about all the fun adventure we had as a family. My son loved the paintball gallery, playing the putting course and all the hiking we did most of all. Had a couple fun nights with campfires and cooking on the nice grill provided. Many many walks in the woods and to the top of the mountain for an incredible view. Day trips are plentiful and you don't have to travel far for adventure. read more

Our family had a great time here. There was more to do than we expected and we spent most of the day here. Our kids went mining for gems, rode a dune buggy, and did putt putt golf. There was a playground, a super fun wagon ride, skeet shooting, panning for gold, BB gun shooting, paintball shooting, and more. Nice, clean bathroom and picnic facilities. This was our second trip and they did not disappoint! The kids loved the gem mine and the shooting galleries. A bit off the beaten path but great signs and directions. Activities and "treasures" were reasonably priced, will definitely be back! read more
