My husband & I relocated to TX this past summer. We are slowly becoming acclimated to the many wonderful shops, restaurants and entertainment venues here in Granbury. On one walking venture we had wandered into the parking lot of the Wagon Yard, but unfortunately they were closed:( However, since I've been on a mission to find just the right items to decorate my new home I took a recent opportunity to go into the Wagon Yard when it was open and "WOW" was I surprised at the many interesting, eclectic, large variety, including some artistically restored items for purchase as I walked from room to room to room; definitely something for everyone. We were visiting from Glendale, Arizona and were with relatives from Hico, Texas who suggested we go look at the Wagon Yard while we were in Granbury with them. What a great place. We saw so much quality in what they were selling. The things that caught our eye were several hand carved pieces of stone that all had crosses chiseled on their face. My wife's gun and uncle are very religious and we thought this would be an ideal gift for them to put in the yard by their front door. They were delighted with it. All the items we saw in the store were extremely will made and good quality. If we lived in Texas there were several larger items we would have considered but it's hard to get furniture in your checked luggage on a Southwest flight. read more

We recently moved to Granbury and are furnishing our home. The Wagon Yard has beautiful, well made and fair priced furniture and home decor. I found some items that I was interested in and took my husband to see the store. Normally he can't wait to get out of stores and that was not the case at the Wagon Yard, he would furnish our entire home from there. Definitely a winner. The staff is excellent, friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about their inventory, I had found a decorative piece and couldn't find it and gave the simplest description and immediately she knew what I was looking for and brought me right to it. My wife and I spent the entire month of March in Granbury. This beautiful little city is home to many wonderful shops, one of them being the Wagon Yard. This shop not only caters to tourists or visitors, but I'm sure its a hot spot for locals too. Many beautiful and different things to choose from that would decorate any room in the home. If you get a chance, stop in......I guarantee you'll be walking out with something. My wife and I bought some gifts for our hometown friends and they loved them. My husband and I always stop at the Wagon Yard when we go to Granbury. It's always the highlight of our trip. We used to look at the barrister book cases and gliders and marvel at the beauty and quality. This time when we went in, we were amazed at the unusual and beautiful dining room tables. They had styles you'd never begin to imagine. We were, as always, impressed. They have the most beautiful Amish furniture, too. I came across The Wagon Yard on a trip to Granbury and couldn't have been more pleased! I purchased some furniture that was just what I was looking for. My most recent visit found me qpleased as well as I found two other items I plan on buying on my next trip. They have such a great selection and the items I chose were to big to take in my car. My husband and I have been coming to visit this shop for 6 years as a part of our stops that we make when we visit Granbury. The rustic charm of the pieces that are included draws is in every time! All those years we had our eye on a set of wind chimes and always had a goal of being able to get them when we could. Recently the day finally came that we purchased our long awaited wind chimes! This is one of the best, most interesting stores you will visit, not just in Granbury either. You can't call it an antique store, but it has beautiful ones. I have one friend who insists on going here whenever she makes the 2 hour drive from her home to visit me.
