The Wagon Wheel is a bit of a local secret. Everything is homemade and cooked perfectly. They have a daily special, and there's a line out the door for the meatloaf on Thursdays. Monday- Brisket Sandwich Tuesdays-Fried Chicken Wednesday-Meatballs Thursday-Meatloaf Friday-Lasagne There's also a long line out the door for the Chicken Fried Steak & Chicken Fried Chicken special on the only night they're open-Fridays. The freshly baked pies are to die for, and they're served still warm with the fluffiest meringue topping you've ever seen. I've never eaten a pie crust so flaky before. These Mennonite girls know what they're doing!! This place is worth the trip. We will definitely be back! (And we'll be here early to beat the crowds!) read more

This place is a little Mennonite cafe/bakery where everything is made from scratch. They offer a daily special other wise the menu is made up of mostly sandwiches,wraps, and salads. When we went the special was BBQ chicken, gourmet potatoes, green beans, and a dinner roll and I would order that again every time! No matter what you order make sure you save room for a piece of one of the 10 or more home made pies they offer. They are well worth the 2.50 and guilt that follows. All in all it's an awesome place to eat if you're within 60 miles! Food was awesome service was good but a little slow due to the popularity of this place among the locals but was with out a doubt worth the wait! I will certainly be back! read more

This place is every bit as great as all the reviews say. Excellent service and top-notch food. We are in town for a business trip and after a couple weeks of Mexican, Pizza and fast food (which is mostly what Ulysses has to offer), the food from this cafe out of Ulysses a few miles tastes extra amazing!! Perfectly cooked/seasoned and really fresh. I would recommend making this a destination, not just stopping by if you are going right past, because it is worth it! read more

The Wagon Wheel is great. I've been for the Monday special (Brisket Sandwich) and sampled the bacon burger. Both were amazing, they make their own buns! If you're in the neighborhood it's worth the drive. read more
