Steve at Hill's Plumbing did an outstanding job installing my replacement water heater. He arrived…read moreon time, assessed the project, and went about draining and removing the failed water heater. he had the new tank installed in short order, and did a much neater job of connecting the plumbing that hadn't been very neatly done originally. I would highly recommend Hill's Plumbing to anyone seeking quality plumbing work, new or servicing.

He replaced the pump in about 15 minutes with no hassle and he set it up correctly. The alarm wasn't going off because it wasn't set up right. It was an emergency charge but he saved us money in the long run. I called another company and they said the tank had to be pumped before they could even look at it!! Awesome customer service!

In my opinion they peddled cheaply made crap and don't care about professionalism.

The guys were able to get these issues resolved and completed the work in a very timely manner. The plumbers were very respectful and kept us informed in with everything that was needed. I was given an original quote for the work prior to all the uncovered issues needing to be resolved, which caused a requote for work which they were upfront about. They quoted high not knowing if they were going to have to rent equipment. After the work was completed, I was told they would requote again as the quote wasn't going to be nearly as high. I paid them in full the original quote prior to any work. I then waited for the final quote after work was done. I waited almost a month post work for the requote, keep in mind all communication was by email. I finally received the by mail after almost a month with a 1% late fee, not much considering the 5k bill that I ended up with, which already 3k had been paid immediately. I called them the day the bill came in the mail and one of the guys answered. I talked with him and told him that I had been waiting for this for a while now to take care of it. He understood my frustration with the late fee and assured me that it would be taken off which was very nice. I want to be clear that I had no issues with service provided by the plumbers, diggers, or survey people. My issue really lies with the billing. When I called to pay, I was told that they had emailed me the new quote. I informed her that I hadn't received an email from them since May 6th. I was dismissed and told "whatever". I don't feel that is the kind of attitude you should have with a costumer who not only paid 3k upfront which was the full original quote but has also been waiting to pay the requote since, which I paid in full today.

When the workers showed up they did what I had already done and yes the pump was not working. They informed me that the pump was not working and that they couldn't replace it until the ground thawed and that it would be just a holding tank until then and left. From the time they got here to the time they left was at most 30 minutes. I had the cap dug out in less than 10 minutes with a coal shovel. Then I got the bill. $200 for less than a half hour of them doing nothing more than what could be called a basic computer reset (try unplugging it and plug it back in). Outrageous. I called someone else to fix the problem and I highly recommend you do the same.
