I had a hose malfunction, looked online and found Boston Irrigation, called Saturday morning, and Fabio was out to fix it later that same afternoon. He was great with communication, updating me on his timeline, then very knowledgeable and helpful when he arrived. He assessed the problem and was very straight forward about how minor it was to fix, asking if there was anything else about the sprinkler system he could help me with so I'd get more bang for my buck on the hourly labor fee. I appreciated that he didn't just show up and take advantage of the situation, which he could have done, and my previous irrigation company would have done. I'll be using Fabio and Boston Irrigation going forward. Thanks for the help!!

Besides the subtle beauty it sheds on my property, it gives me a sense of security as a deterrent to intruders whether I am home or not. The lighting has drawn me out to spaces of my yard that I never used after dark. The soft lighting provides an enchanting place to enjoy a glass of wine after dark! Through the Fall and Winter I never had to worry about coming home to a dark house. And with snow and ice it was great to have the lighting to safely negotiate the pathways to my home. I would totally recommend Toomey Irrigation and Landscape Lighting to anyone. They were professional, did not disrupt my landscaping, and perfectly highlighted the features of my home and property. I they put in an Irrigation system for be back in 2010 and it was great! I know over time things…read moreneed fixing but wow. So I had them come out to get some stuff fixed on the irrigation system and everything was great paid just over $1300.00 to get it fixed wow but I paid for it! Well I think it was maybe a month later or less one of the sprinkler heads started to leave a puddle so I called them back out one person and he said it was the filter inside one of the valves that was replaced all ready. I said ok and I walked inside and I guess he fixed it. Well the next morning I had a flood in my yard that head along with the heads that are with it on the system stayed on and I couldn't turn it off from inside. So I send an email and Deb said that someone would be out in a bit. Well 3 hour later no one showed and now I wasted 3 hour of my time that they didn't seem to care about! Well I sent an email again asking what is going on and Deb asked if I would be there later in the afternoon. Mine you it was also going to rain a lot that morning. So I said to Deb no I will not be here I have things I have to do and I wasted my time waiting 3 hours for you all. So after another email back and forth. I sent one that said I would be home tomorrow but I just need a time frame she said how about later in the afternoon and I said ok. Well my husband got a follow up email from them for tomorrows visit for a estimate WTH I said to myself. I sent Deb and email saying that this is not an Estimate appt. This is something your guy did and you need to fix it. So when I couldn't turn it off from inside my Husband turned it off from outside. All I was asking is for them to came back and fix it. I'm pretty sure it was something that was not turned back when they fixed it and left a part in the valve box. So some money down the tub and some of it well spent . But they never showed again that day for the appt. So it looks like we are going to have to fix it with someone else or ourselves. Not sure what is going on with them they used to be so good and now not so much. I do have pic's of everything the flood and the piece that was left in the valve box and so on. Hope you all have better luck then I did!

We hired Designer Sprinkler Service to install a full irrigation system throughout our yard, and…read moreFred and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Our yard had become mostly dirt and patchy grass, with no practical way to keep it watered. We were also having Neighborhood Landscaping prepare and seed the yard, and Fred worked directly with their owner, Jeff, to coordinate the timing. He explained the process to us and handled the details with Jeff, which made everything easy on our end. This was not an easy installation. Our yard sits several flights of stairs above the street, and the crew had to dig trenches by hand and navigate piping around difficult walls and landscaping. They showed up on time, worked hard, and were incredibly nice throughout. Nobody complained about the access or the conditions, and they made sure all our questions about the new system were answered before leaving. The seed is now in, the sprinklers are running, and we're finally looking forward to having grass again. We really appreciated the care they took and how well they worked with Neighborhood Landscaping. Highly recommend Fred and his team.
