Ear canal cleaning has been offered at a very reasonable price relative to ENTs for example, and the latest equipment is employed. Additionally, Evolution offers daily walk in services after 12 which is highly convenient if there is a short notice problem to work on. The audiologists were recently able to remove a rubber gasket from my canal that had gotten stuck - doing this at a clinic would have taken much longer at much higher cost. A wide array of hearing aid devices are offered and testing is done in a smooth and professional manner. Highly recommended Audiologist.

I know, doesn't sound hard, but you have to know her to understand. Her lack of hearing adversely affected our family in so many ways. You couldn't even carry on a conversation with her. Her response would always be "Huh?" or "Yea", because she never heard what you said. Of course, I wanted to help her get hearing aids, but I didn't know who to TRUST. I wanted someone to show some genuine care for her, as well as someone with the expertise to provide her what she needed in a hearing aide. When I met Dr. Cooper, I really felt like I could TRUST her. She's caring, and easy to like. She is so personable, and she honestly understands the impact of being partially deaf. She has the patience of Job, and sometimes you need that. She was extremely patient with my Mother, giving her as much time, and space as she needed to practice and learn how to operate her hearing aide. She treated my Mother, the way I treat my Mother, with dignity and respect. I feel like Doctor Cooper is always there for us if we her need help, or have a question. I do not recommend albemarle audiology. My experience dates back to two years ago. This is my first…read morepair of hearing aids. They had a rep for Widex convince me to buy a very expensive and very high tech hearing aid. I never was able to use them, even with making multiple adjustments to the settings. My insurance was supposed to cover everything but a $35 copay up to $6000. This was confirmed before I made the purchase. I knew the hearing aids didn't work for my hearing loss needs after approx a two week trial period. The mistake I made was that I didn't reach out until months later when I started receiving bills. While I knew they didn't work, I thought they were paid for. AA said at that time I was beyond my warranty and that I was stuck with the hearing aids. I just received yet another bill from something I'd closed the chapter on because my insurance company apparently paid a payment twice and now they are coming to me for the funds Aetna didn't cover. I've now paid out over $1000 for $35 hearing aids that are taking up space in a cabinet. I was upsold from the beginning against my better judgment and it has cost me money, stress, and frustration. I will not use Albemarle Audiology ever again and if you choose to use them, do not be oversold something you perhaps don't need. I am in the process of taking this up with my HR department and Aetna as well. I place a great deal of blame on AA for the way this was handled from the start.

He & Susan Make the Charlottesville Costco store special . They work to find solutions that most people dont even think about . I am test driving a pair of Phillips hearing aids right now which they lent me when my rextons bit the dust on the weekend before my 55th high school reunion . The warranty is great & even better if you pay with the Costco credit card , They are not in network for Aetna insurance which is the only drawback that I see . I have never had a problem with The Costco Hearing Healthcare of Virginia . They stand behind their product & work with their customers

He has a great deal of patience and knowledge, and has such a kind demeanor. I have been using hearing aids for two decades now because of a progressive hearing disease. Before coming to Hearing Healthcare of Virginia, my previous audiologist gave up on me ever being able to hear words again. Jason Kim found a way to get my right ear to actually hear some words, and I am so grateful to him for his kindness and determination!
