At half the price which included her second dose of vaccinations & a microchip, Appointment is not needed, however, be there before 8 am on the event day as there are people with not one but up to 4 cats per person waiting. If you have community cats you can trap them and take them to the meow mobile which will help the over population of stray and feral cats. They will either tattoo or clip the ear of the stray / feral cats so that if ever picked up they would know that cat has been spayed or neutered. Since ours is a pet they don't do that but make sure you write on the cat intake form and tell them when they check you in. I will update my review once I pick up my Nala this afternoon. Drop off is 8:00 and and they will advise you of the pick up time to which is usually between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. When I went into…read morethis, I did my research, and many were disheartened because they were turned away or never called, and the typical reaction was "What the heck? I am trying to do a good thing here, and these rescues are not letting me!" Yes, you may get turned away. Know why? Because those dogs ended up there for a reason, and the rescue wants to make sure they never get surrendered again. So to some, the application, calls, vet checks, reference checks, and home visits might seem a bit much, but there is a reason for those steps - finding a forever home for these dogs. So if you love dogs, you should be happy they are being responsible and careful in their decisions. My experience with DRSF was nothing short of great. From Nora the matchmaker to Brett who completed the home visit to Laura who fostered my little Hans (now Rupert) and his brother ...these people care about these dogs, and they are doing this with heart. The dogs are taken care of and loved while in their care, which I am not sure you can say about puppy stores and in some cases, breeders. If you are looking to support an organization that reflects a solid mission and that is honest and forthright, look no further. I am very happy with my little doxie and with my experience, and you will be too. :-)

I accommodated the volunteer who needed to do a house visit during the day between 11 and 12. I made it clear that the day she was visiting. I only had a window between 11 and 1130. I have video footage of her checking out packages that were delivered at my front door while she was waiting. When she came into my house, she was upset that I was OK with her leaving her shoes on. She said she needed to see the upstairs of my house which I questioned. I said I don't allow strangers in the second story of my house as that's where our bedrooms are. She stated if I wanted to adopt from their organization, they need to ensure every space is safe for the dog. At that point, I was extremely upset as she kept pushing that she needed to see upstairs. My tone then went from being happy to rescue to irritating and questioning this organization. She could see how happy my current Dachshund was. The other item that she brought a point up was "cables on the floor". These cables were from a fan that had been plugged into the wall as my downstairs air-conditioning unit was not functioning and a cable attached to my shop vac that I used to sweep my floors. I said to her "as you can see I have a dog and nothing is wrong with the cables. And I don't need to explain to you why these two pieces of items are sitting in my house" At 4 o'clock that same day I received the email denying my application. I responded back to the email including copies of the text messages and videos of the woman at my door and still three weeks later. I have not had a response to my email.

After looking for a mobile groomer online, I booked the Barking Lounge because of the Google reviews. I called and requested a kind patient groomer for my service dog in training. The girl on the phone assured me that the groomer coming to my home was experienced, very kind and patient with animals. Upon meeting the groomer, I explained to him that my puppy is a service dog in training and under no circumstances should his temperament be tampered with, as he is my medical equipment. I asked him to please stop the grooming, if at any point my dog showed signs of stress and discomfort. I was hoping for a stress- free, fun loving, and safe environment for my pup... like the company advertises. The groomer ignored my request. My pup is trained via Positive Reinforcement methods. He is not accustomed to cooperating with people who use force, fear, yelling, and intimidation. When he gave me my shaved down pup back, which I did not request. He told me my dog was crazy, disobedient, and I should give my service dog anxiety pills or Benadryl to calm him down. Seems like it's the other way around... Negative energy attracts negative energy, so if your dog is feeling the bad energy from a person, their behavior is going to reflect that bad energy. The cleanliness was just wonderful. We were taught how to gently handle the kittens so that we and the kittens would be at ease and safe. We learned so much about different breeds. The girls fell in love with the gentleness and playfulness of the kittens. This was an experience they will never forget. They are telling everyone and are already planning their next visit, this time with their cousins. I'm so thankful for the memories and the interactive education. WE LOVED IT!!!!

The second time I went to purchase a cat, I noticed they were all in their own cages, and I asked if they are are always like that and they said they only let one out at a time for about 30 minutes. A few weeks ago, I bought my second bengal from here. They said she had a bad reaction to her vaccine so I couldn't pick her up because they needed to monitor her. That was on March 1st, I ended up picking her up 11 days later and she was still throwing up and having diarrhea so I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with FIP coronavirus and Giardia. I told them that she is still sick and I have Another cat at home. I took her to the vet because she was extremely sick and they told me that it was my fault and it could possibly be a toxic plant. I had at home even though I have a healthy cat at home And they admitted to me that she was not feeling well after her vaccines. It turns out it was not for reaction to her vaccines. It was Giardia FIP and coronavirus. I have been spending $3000 on a cat. I immediately got hit with a $1200 vet bill and a sick kitten that I had to nerve back to life. She was on medicine three times a day and she was extremely underweight. It was extremely stressful. I also found out that they put the kittens in cargo and shipped them from Ukraine, which I think is extremely unethical. Most animal foundations do not let their animals go into cargo cause it is extremely unsafe for them. I wish they would've just given me her from the beginning and I would've helped her get better soon sooner rather than letting her sit in a cage sick for weeks. They won't help with the vet bill. They're putting the blame on me. Even though I could tell something was up with seeing how all of the cats were separated all of a sudden And they admitted that she was not feeling well. They said she has a housemate at the time and I'm really hoping they took her to the vet. When I went to go meet her the first time they didn't let me pick her up because she was feeling unwell and they've had to wash diarrhea off of her. She's five months old and 4 pounds. The vet that "cleared" her didn't document her weight on her health certificate and did not mark her as underweight even though I called them and she was only 1.9 pounds. I'm not sure how they even were able to get her neutered When the requirement for neutering a kitten is 2 pounds. This place is extremely unethical and they will gaslight you saying that the sick kitten is your problem because they don't wanna pay for it and they need to be shut down immediately.
