I ordered the tacos de birria...which is a beef stew bathed in a melange of chiles and spices, giving it a deep, red hue. The stew's tender, juicy meat is stuffed into an extra soft corn tortilla stacked under the first, plunged in the thin layer of fat that floats to the top of the Birria, then thrown on the hot griddle...giving them their Yelp-worthy look and addictively crispy exterior. They are served with a juicy lime wedge, flecked with diced onions, a sprinkle of fresh cilantro and ooey gooey oaxaca cheese.
