But having coming here, I'm glad that this place is representing well and holding down the fort. The ambiance of the restaurant is ok. I personally think a remodel could be used in a few places. But the service overall was good. Very friendly waitress that made sure our drinks were always filled. I got the Kimchi Jjigae and it was quite good. Good sized chunks of tender meat, lots of vegetables, and a deep and spicy broth. Overall, a good place to go to for Korean food in Fort Myers :)

First time into XiXi was a week or two after opening…read more From the outside, the expectation of the restaurant looks sparse, however, once you enter, it's quite bigger than anticipated. There are a few seats by the door for those doing pickup orders and there are at least a dozen tables for dining in. They are spaced out enough where you wouldn't completely be on top of each other on slower days, but it may feel crowded if the place is packed. The kitchen area is in front as you walk in, so you see a window into a small service area, where they package everything to go. In back of that, is the full service kitchen. Everything was clean when we went inside. It was quiet and the staff were welcoming. The interior does feel a little sterile, but who is paying attention to the (lack of) wall art? You're there to enjoy a meal, not count tiles. We had placed two orders (to go) of the monthly special (chicken) and were not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection and the sides that were offered were just as great. There was enough protein that we had some leftovers for another meal and decided we would definitely go back. I would love to try some of the sushi there, as I was watching it being made and their Dragon Roll looks pretty epic. The specials are priced to lure people in, and the hibachi and sushi offerings are priced comparatively priced to other local establishments. I've talked to a couple friends who have either enjoyed this place or felt it wasn't up to par. It really is a hit or miss depending on what you are going to eat and what you're expecting. My party and I are looking forward to going back to try something else, so we see this as a win.

I've had this place on my list for a while now and finally had the time to stop in for lunch. I came by myself and had the panang curry with extra shrimp and a Thai tea. I didn't know I'd receive this but it was a pleasant surprise. The panang curry was easily the best one I have ever had anywhere! I've never been to Thailand, but I've had panang curry all over Florida and Las Vegas and this is truly the best. I was blown away. The restaurant was clean. The service was quick and very friendly.
