Everything came correctly. Staff are very friendly. Food was good. I like this franchise, you can see they cooking your food, the energy is really nice.

If you are from the south or have spent any time in the southern states, you know Waffle House. It has fed many road weary travelers, Sunday morning breakfasters and more than their share of drunken revelers after a night on the town. There is nothing fancy about this place or its food, simple food prepared in front of you with a focus on are home fries. Waffle House's home fries are pretty amazing. You can get them prepared with a variety of toppings and they are the perfect accents for either breakfast, burgers, whatever. This particular location is just off of the highway and holds all the expectations of a Waffle House.

Try the scrambled eggs with cheese! It's delicious!

Great food, was perfectly cooked and the night team are even more wonderful. Best scrambled eggs and overall breakfast I've had. Thank you!

I was hungry and tired of driving in the rain so I pulled over to grab a bite and get out of the rain. My waitress was friendly and attentive. My food came out quickly . I had bacon fried eggs hash browns and toast. I asked for over easy but she misheard and wrote down medium. This was way too done but I didn't complain. I forgot to order hash browns well done that was my fault . My coffee was good and she kept my cup full. I think the bacon was the highlight. It was cooked just right. Crispy but not too crispy. I enjoyed the breakfast .

    Da perfect BITE!

I'm absolutely convinced that whatever Waffle House's cook-recruitment technique is should be duplicated in EVERY restaurant on the Globe! Why, you ask? Because after having the same exact breakfast platter (two lightly scrambled eggs, well done hashbrowns, medium bacon and raisin toast) I have enjoyed precisely the most perfectly prepared and hot/fresh noms in over a dozen different locations across multiple state lines! Some people scoff and write WH off as a hangover-hangout but It is truly nice to have a reliable place to get delicious grubs at a great price, with great service, and that you cannot deny! Lookin forward to my next breakfast somewhere else in da world!

Aside from being so cold inside, the food was prepared well, brought out hot and timely and our waitress was attentive and friendly.

It was a busy Sunday morning, but we got a seat within 5 minutes and the staff here made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our drinks were never empty and our food came out quickly. Everyone working here was so friendly, especially the sweet old lady up at the front. I love the charm of old breakfast restaurants and this place checked every box; great food, awesome staff, and a cool location. From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for a treat. Do yourself a favor and get the gravy, it's the best I've ever had. I got the simple breakfast and it was perfect, they even ask if you want any additional items added to your hash browns, so I had to go with some onion. I can't stop thinking about this place and I'm eagerly awaiting the next time we go.

The servers work together to keep coffee cups filled and to make sure everyone's happy. On to the food. It was great. The biscuits and gravy as well as the hash browns were off the hook! The eggs Benedict were reportedly very tasty, too. Lastly, a deep fried cinnamon roll rounded out the meal perfectly. There's no doubt in my mind... we'll be back!

We arrived around 10:30 on a Wednesday morning and we were wrong to think that the place would be empty after an early breakfast rush. We were seating upon entering by Brooke who also was our server. The menu is varied and we found out that you can order anything at anytime. We had ordered the Spicy Pulled Pork omelette and Shrimp and Grits. Next time, we're thinking a Grouper sandwich as they were being enjoyed at two tables next to us and looked delicious. Our breakfast entrees arrived quickly. The omelette came with a choice of side and I chose the potatoes. They were seasoned but a bit cold and hard. Brooke offered to swap them out when checking on us, but by that time, I was filling up from the large packed omelette. It was filled with pork, peppers, onions and cheese with more spicy, sweet pork on top. I wish the entrees came with toast. The shrimp and grits were served over gouda grits as requested and the dish was spicy and filling. Definitely one of the best we tried in a while. Drinks were refilled promptly and Brooke took care of her guests quickly and with a smile.

Steel Pony Diner was formerly located at Gather location on Navy Blvd. The dining room is anywhere inside or outside patio of Dorothy's. Interior is "Wizard of Oz" theme. Ironically, there use to be a gay club in Pensacola called "Emerald City". The Steel Pony area at the side of the bar where you can order from Kyree. Order here and then find a place to seat inside or outside and Kyree will deliver your food. It is unclear whether to order drink with Kyree or go to the bar. This time around I went to the bar to get a coke, water, and a vodka soda. Since this location is new, I am confident they will figure it out whether or not Steel Pony Diner can order drinks at the bar where the experience can feel a bit more full service where I can order my food and drinks with one person with Kyree or order at the bar with the bar tender. FYI. Dorothy's is a non for profit bar to help fund raise for OASIS (a HIV prevention service and also serves people with HIV/AIDS). This visit, I had their signature Prego Sandwich served with a side of au ju and your choice of side garnished with Mable's Sweet Garlic Dill Pickles (I will cover later). For $2 extra I added grilled mushrooms. This sandwich is delicious!!! It is so good, it could be part of the Pensacola tourist DNA, meaning, if u visited Pensacola and had the Prego sandwich you will think about this sandwich when u think of visiting Pensacola. If u are visiting Pensacola, and not bothered with the LGBTQ community make Steel Pony Diner @ Dorothy's your next destination especially Memorial Day Weekend. With that said, let's talk about Mable's Sweet Garlic Dill Pickles made by Todd Morris of Family Orchard Farm. These pickles are like a savory candy... delish!!! I am not really into pickles, but these here are so good! I wonder if they make a relish version. If not, Todd, helurrrrrr?!?!?! You can get a jar for $12 at Steel Pony Diner. Ask Kyree or Eric to purchase.
