It comes with a bowl of side salad with a delicious maple balsamic dressing, a blueberry muffin, and a slice of tomato and lettuce on the plate. The quiche has a nice, homemade crust that's surprising light and just pure goodness. The burger bowl was a deconstructed burger without the bun. I got it with grilled chicken, and it was, of course, cooked to perfection. Juicy and flavorful, which is hard to achieve for most places. The salad was fresh, and the homemade Grumpy's sauce was delicious as well. The waitress was sweet. Service was on point. Price is good. Place is nicely decorated and clean. Both this place and the town of Madison has exceeded our expectations. We will for sure come back when we're around next year.

I probably eat here five times a week, and it's not because the food is exceptional, or as I've already mentioned it is as basic as it comes. There was already motorcycles/ trikes out front, so that was a good sign. I haven't eaten here since it was owned by a previous owner. Maybe 20 plus years ago. I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, and Dawn had a club with sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked to near perfection and our waiter Zach was attentive and responsive. The ambiance is nice and quaint with plenty of room for several people. I grew up in Steinhatchee/ Rocky Creek, so it was nice to be reminded of home and the old fishing village atmosphere. The owner even came out to check on us and make sure everything was good, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place. We all ordered the fried chicken and all were smart enough to split plates (since we were all driving hours home that same day). Sides around the table- mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, creamed corn with bacon, collard greens, black eyed peas, mac-n-cheese, fries & I'm probably missing something.
