Honestly I would skip this Waffle House and go up the road to the next one. Sat in here for 45 minutes watching them cook everyone else's food that walked in before my girlfriends and myselfs and when we got ours to eat finally it's cold, bread is burned and just a crap meal. Would NOT Recommend this Waffle House. Their lucky I had to leave a star the don't deserve. read more

The waitstaff said in a harmonious voice "Good Morning, Y'all! After we were seated we were brought glasses of ice-cold water. Our waitress suggested various types of toast! I did not know they offered raisin toast or blueberry waffles! We are certainly going back to this location on Zebulon Rd. I did takeout with a bunch of friends, the food tasted great and I really enjoyed my first ever chocolate chip waffle. Definitely would recommend this place later at night/morning since it's one of the only places still open. read more

What a great Waffle House! I visited here for 4th of July Breakfast and had a great experience. There was a small wait to get a table, but I understand because it's a holiday. Our server, Kaitlyn, was very kind and got our order and drinks right. The food came out very quick and everything was cooked properly. I loved the All Star Special! Ever seen a grown man namedrop a dead ceo because the restaurant was only doing carryout orders? Well I've got a story to tell! We were the last folks to get seated before the staff started just doing carryout orders (only one server and one cook - the cook was awesome!). So buddy walks in and is talking on his phone while the staff is trying to tell him it's carryout only. Hangs up, gets told, blows up. "Ever heard of Joe Rogers?! He's a friend and client of mine and he's gunna hear all about this!" So service wasn't great, but again the cook was crushing it. Probably go to a different location next time. read more

Bacon was a little burnt and the grits were lukewarm however ...both taste pretty good when you're hungry and traveling. The service was excellent and the tables were clean. Opened the door to a crowded restaurant. Our "party of two" got seated relatively quickly, however, at a quaint booth - nothing too special to look at around the place, but obviously it gave off a very familiar Waffle House vibe you can't get anywhere else. The bulk of this review will be a discussion of our waitress. Man, what a woman. She seated us and heard our orders with with an almost mean-looking, matter-of-fact look on her face as I asked for the new hash brown bowl with sausage, egg and cheese and my date mistakenly requested the chocolate chip waffle expecting the chocolate in the waffle batter when on the menu it CLEARLY said - ah, whatever. Back to talking about our bodacious waitress. After I was convinced to try what turned out to be a surprisingly good vanilla Coke, we got our meals which were both good, wholesome diner grub. Waitress lady still wore a frown as she dished us the food - though I was determined she was just a big softie and I was just waiting for that side of her to show. We finished our meals and finally, I got what I was looking for at the cash register as elderly waitress lady, who it turned out had been working at Waffle House since the 90's, gave me a toothy grin as she handed me my change. I knew she wasn't that bad. Good stuff. By the way, please do what I forgot to do and put five dollars' worth of Jason Derulo's Whatcha Say into the jukebox. You won't regret it. read more

Stopped here on our way to Florida. It was super busy and even though we were not in a rush we decided to head to the next exit to another Waffle House not so busy. The host and manager followed us outside and got us to come back inside. Now please understand we were not upset. They were busy and that's a good thing but they really didn't want us to leave. Always go to the Waffle House bc it's closer to work. I usually go around 8-11pm. It's either a hit or miss, staff or food. Somehow in that nasty kitchen, they make some good ass chicken sandwiches and hash browns. But sometimes u have mediocre food. Usually at night we get a a black girl with a wrist tattoo and we love her. She does her job and is good to us. But unfortunately tonight we had someone who messed up our order and we didn't treat it as a big deal bc we would just box up the extra food she charged us for and take it home but she had an attitude and that's what was annoying. She's a bit older, she never introduced herself so I don't know her name. read more

This is usually the Waffle House we go to. It used to be cleaner. The windows look like they haven't been cleaned in...forever. The employees are really loud and even arguing in front of the customers. To be a WAFFLE HOUSE either they need to clean their waffle irons or whatever in order to give you a decent looking fluffy waffle. The waffles are flat and yucky looking. Grits are usually too watery. You tell them you want your hash browns not crisp and they come out dark and crisp!! Your iced tea tastes like coffee. They need to do better!!! read more

As with most WH's, cleanliness us a problem...food morsels in floor, etc. Food is filling and cheap, they really don't know how to scramble eggs (should be uniformly yellow). But... the employees are very friendly. read more
