Well, for sometime, I've been coming here. I've been having an attitude by a specific waitress who doesn't like when patron put music on the jukebox. Anytime I put music on the jukebox. She will override it. Recently tonight decided a cook decided to turn her own personal radio up really loud. Blocking out what I was playing on the jukebox. Not very good for your establishment not very professional and I think something needs to be done about it. I'm getting tired of the current rudeness of your staff hire choices. The employees are great, and the overall scene and comfort are great. The food was amazing, and they delivered the food at a timely rate, even when it was busy. Let's see. I ordered steak and eggs and had to ask you for a steak knife. A STEAK KNIFE WHEN YOU DELIVERED STEAK AND EGGS! Ordered hash browns with onions. Only thing missing? ONIONS! This location is unprofessional and a COVID 19 spreader. Today is the second day I've walked in and the chef had the mask BENEATH her mouth. When I mentioned it, Shivaka, a tall Black male waiter rudely said, "If you don't want the food, then don't take it". I was trying to explain that the particles from your mouth stay on surfaces (forks, tray, anything, etc...) for 72 hours as per the CDC and he rudely walked away while I was still standing there responding to him. I then asked for the district manager and no one could give me his information. I called later and was hung up on. This location is unprofessional and when you leave any commentary as a paying patron, they get nasty. We are living through a national pandemic where most stores where shut down trying to prevent the spread of COVID but with locations that do whatever they please, we'll be closed again soon and/or dead. read more

I just love Waffle House it's amazing and the atmosphere is great. Coming on the weekends is a bit hectic but worth it for Waffle House

Worst experience ever Nasty every table dirty and no one acknowledged us we waited for atleast 10 min until one of the 3 guys asked "Oh are y'all trying to dine in" With not one other customer in the restaurant and began to clean a booth They seemed as though they were hoping we would just leave. They did not clean any of the high top or the other 2 booths that were piled with dirty dishes the entire time we were there One man came in sat at the high top no one even spoke to him or offered to clean a spot for him so he left "mad" Just sad that they didn't want to serve anyone I work in the restaurant industry myself and couldn't believe how they just stood there, maybe hoping that people would just turn and leave because it was so nasty. This is by far the worst Waffle House around. There are 12 people working here and it took 45 mins to get our food. When we got the food I've never seen burned eggs that were also uncooked. Looked horrible. Waffles came out 15 mins after the rest of the food and my sons chocolate chip waffle was just a regular waffle with chocolate chips thrown on top. Never again read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!Phone doesn't work. Should have been my first clue not to proceed. I then had to go in to place an order. 3 plates for me, hubby and daughter. Subtotal was $30. Then the person proceeded to add $3.50 twice. A to go charge he said. I said for what and he said for the containers. Are you kidding me??? The containers are a cost of doing business. I'm just speechless. That is shameful Waffle House. I would have gone for one charge but 2. And then he couldn't even explain why he charged twice. read more

I was just at this waffle just now with my partner and a black male that works at the location and his girlfriend that also works at the location ran up and tried to fight me. Cursing and handling brooms as if they were going to use them as weapons. The manager (some black lady with a really bad weave) just watched until I started recording, she then made her workers get to the back while they was still cursing and threatening me. I've already called cooperate and I'm seriously thinking of filing a police report. Do not go to this location. The cooks are even HORRIBLE. It all started over them serving us cold food and half as* scrambled eggs. RUN!!! I wish I could give them negative stars. We was never greeted and the tables was all dirty. This Waffle House is one of the busiest you will ever visit. They have a great cook and excellent servers but they have a tremendous to-go business so consequently in house visitors have to wait TOO long for what should be a fast meal. I hope the servers aren't paying the price in tips for something that is out of their control. I wish they would limit their to-go orders and focus on their sit down service. read more

Horrible! Yes I know it's a WH but it was not busy and tables not clean. One person trying to get ppl seated and so it got busy in that moment and co workers did nothing to help. No acknowledgement. Great friendly fast service. My pork chop dinner was cooked just right and super tasty. Very crispy hash browns. Couldn't have been happier.

Please note: I am referencing two Waffle House locations in the post. The first, is not the location I am posting the review for. The Waffle House who provided us excellent service is the one in Grayson on Loganville Hwy. I guess the Scenic location is making enough money that they don't need to serve guests today. I went in this afternoon with my family and had to wait for one of many empty, dirty tables to be cleaned as did the couple who walked in before us. They weren't terrible busy but did have a couple of tables still sitting. After waiting for a table to be cleared, we went to sit down only to find the floor under the table covered in trash. We were immediately asked for our drink order by a gentleman but he was rushed off by a waitress. She took our drink order but never returned with them. The manager stopped by our booth to apologize for the wait but didn't offer to bring us our drinks and then walked to the back instead of helping his crew who clearly needed help. We waited over 15 minutes for our drinks while our waitress served other tables. My husband insisted we leave since they clearly didn't value us as customers. As we were leaving, another gentleman sitting at the low bar got up and left for lack of service as well. We went to another Waffle House location in Grayson and received our drinks and food in less time than we spent waiting for service at the other location. The staff was friendlier and our server Taylor was very attentive. This location was a lot cleaner as well. Although the location on Scenic Hwy is more convenient I will not return and will make the drive to the other location in Grayson as their service is far better than the Scenic Hwy location. read more

The staff was amazing and the waiters were friendly. I ordered chicken and waffles and was surprised by the quick service and delicious food. It was warm unlike most other diners so this is one thing that definitely sets it apart from the pack. I was really impressed by the tall cook who made my food. He doesn't have much hair but you can tell he put real effort into his cooking and that he wanted to please the customer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

The worst food and service EVER! I've been to other Waffle Houses and although I know they are no 5 star restaurant... this one is by far the worst! $17 for a meal and a Texas melt?! That's insane! High prices and to-go fees are ridiculous for this hole in the wall. The grits were gross, the chesse on the "Texas Melt" (which by the way was nothing of the sort) was not melted and the food wasn't hot. I like Waffle House, just not this one. We went in there. No acknowledgment that we were there. After about 15 minutes, where someone else came in and was seated and their order was being taken with still no acknowledgement that we had been there over 15 minutes and no attention, we walked out. I will never go here again!!! read more

Best Waffle House around. Been to a few in the area and this one by far has the best service, friendliest staff, and consistent optimal quality in their food and performance. In this Waffle House there are cooks that have been doing it since Waffle House first came into existence. Back in high school I used to go here all the time. Food was always amazing and perfectly cooked. Now it's gotten god awful. I was sitting at the bar watching the cooks and the cook decided to put raw bacon on the grill then go back to grabbing lettuce and preparing my brothers burger buns WITHOUT changing gloves. FYI people can die from crap like that so I called him out and told him after handling raw food you have to change your gloves and even the waitress agreed. The time after that I ordered the same thing for my family and watched the SAME cook do the SAME thing. And that was the last time I will ever go there. To start off this place is very racist I went there and the people was barely paying attention to me and my order. I went to the bathroom and came back and I seen my food in dirty plates. This place was the Go TO place for great food....not any more....40 or more flys i counted about 29 flys at the table next to checkout couldn't even sit down to eat because of the waffle station look like it hasn't been cleaned in about a week there was green and yellow and brown and flies all over the waffle station probably about 15 or more flies on that area and I couldn't believe that there were only three people working there and all three of them are on drugs trying to go outside had to get some air because whatever they were high on was making them hot look like it hadn't been mopped in about 2 months hence the reason why the Flies were all over the floor the service station have leaks coming out of the mr. Pibb there was mold coming out of the refrigerator with the pies and milk and whatnot along with condensation the guy that was serving was so out of it then the cook decided he was going to set now and not do nothing because he was too hot this was just a disastrous nasty place to go to there should be a zero rating because then I would never go there in the first place! read more
