Sometimes servers can get carried away or seem like they don't care but have never had a horrible experience. Me and my friends came in at 3:00am for a late night Waffle House adventure. The experience was a 9/10 due to the fact that it was more of a hangout than an adventure. Service was perfect and enjoyable(shout out to the sweet girl in the pink hat and jacket, and the mom with black hair and glasses) food was good except my eggs were not at all done. read more

We called Multiple times mostly for the phone to be laid down and we could hear everything going on only to be hung up on, repeatedly. Excellent service ! Stopped in Dallas but understaffed so took chances and drove up to Lincolnton. And glad that we did. Wonderful. Did not have to wait long for a booth. Waitress within a couple of minutes. Beverages within two minutes. Food in five minutes. I had a bowl of breakfast items including sausage, eggs, onions, hashbrowns all good. Good amount of food too. Husband Chili a.m. two cheeseburgers with hashbrowns. All good. Coffee. Price is right. We will be back. Praying Dallas waffle house will get some help soon. read more

Hi. I want to thank the staff for this sunny morning. When we arrived, it was packed! And just 2 waitresses! On a Thursday morning, can believe it still. Natasha was our waitress, Melinda was...everywhere, assisting and taking care of her own customers, Jon-Jon was our Chef. We found seating at the counter, I asked for drinks and Melinda, very kindly gave us our drinks and explained that Natasha was our waitress but they were short handed. Is ok, no rush. Then Natasha takes our order and makes sure is what we are asking for, she even brings the chef and ask for a description for my hash browns. This made my morning. (Smile emoji) We noticed the chef being a little off; my son wants to be a chef/cook, so he was attentive to the environment. Me: long time ago I was on the other side of the counter...bittersweet memories (heart emoji) The customers were happy, or so they seem; and the food arrived: Beautiful! Delicious! Complete! Nothing missing or cold. What a blessing!! The harmony of the kitchen, made us enjoy breakfast, we would not have change anything. We asked for words of wisdom, Jon-Jon was very kind to oblige; in a professional manner he lets us know that is everyone working together that allows customers feel at home, there's nothing to fear because you are not alone and if he (my son) was ready, he has an incredible opportunity for him right then and there (lol). This was one of those times where you are proud of being there. To see the service and attention that lately we are missing in other restaurants. Thank you Melinda, Natasha and Jon-Jon!! I would give a 0 star if it were an option. Upon entry, I was immediately asked if I would do a take out order instead of sitting and eating. ALL the tables were dirty and the stools were put on the tables. I had to ask someone to clean a table before sitting to which I was barked at with an attitude by the waitress who cleaned. Worst service! Never got waffles. She took smoke break though! When I said nevermind she grabbed a waffle that I had been watching set for quite a bit and brought it out, I refused it and said it had been setting there way too long. The cook had touched it to make sure it was warm, then waitress wanted me to feel it! No way. Lazy ! Another group had been told they would have to wait 10 minutes for their order to be taken due to grill gonna be cleaned, never saw it done. When I left they still didn't have order taken. This place is terrible. I got a to go order called and ordered it at like 2:30 it's now 2:37 and I got to the Waffle House paid for my food and walked out....like a normal human being...y'all tell me why they have mixed coffee in my sweet tea... I took a HUGE gulp of my tea and I thought surely to GOD they didn't mix coffee and tea and GIVE IT TO ME....so I took another gulp. Now what if I wasn't a normal person? What if I was allergic to coffee beans or something? Then what? Y'all would have had a law suit on y'all hands for something that could have been avoided if y'all would have been like "oh snap I poured coffee instead of tea...lemme get another cup" but no...y'all thought I wouldn't notice? Shame on y'all. DISGUSTANG!!! Waffle House..do better with ya life. That was nasty and y'all didn't give me any silverware...I don't necessarily NEED the silverware but it would have been nice to be able to stuff my face while driving. If you want terrible sevice this is the Waffle House for you. The last time I ate here, there was only me and two other customers in the whole place. After the waitress brought my food, she never ever checked back with me again or offered to refill my drink and this was with just three customers in the place. The time before that was just as bad. The food is generally good at a Waffle House, but the service is always a big question mark. It can range from excellent to terrible and every thing in between. I've ate here twice now and had terrible service each visit, needless to say I won't ever be going back to this Waffle House again. read more

I caution anyone considering eating at the Waffle House. I observed the cook handling raw meat with his bare hands and then touching customer's plates that had food prepared for them. I complained to my waitress who informed someone else behind the counter (not sure if it was a manager or not). I saw individual tell the cook to put gloves on because a customer complained. He said he refused to put the gloves on. Nothing happened to him and he kept cooking that way. I will NEVER eat there again. It is food poisoning waiting to happen. Gross! read more

MY husband and I try to get here a few times a month. Never had a bad meal, the staff is very nice. Clean restrooms a plus.

Ordered a Western Omelet, cooked in butter, dry wheat toast & coffee. Watched the cook dip LoMelt out of a can and put it in the frying pan. Told the waitress and she reminded the cook it was supposed to be cooked in butter; cook swore it was butter! (LoMelt is coconut oil and high in cholesterol). The omelet arrived and was half eaten before toast arrived! I was charged 11.00 for a Western Omelet and total bill was 13.71. Western Omelet is not shown on the menu, so I guess they can charge whatever they want. Service here was minimal; about had to trip waitress to get her attention and they omelet was greasy. I live in Lincolnton and have eaten ate this waffle house many times, the food and the service has always been great. If they are very busy (every table full) it might take 10 to 15min to get your food but normally they have your order ready in just a couple minutes. read more
