Had to wait for a table to open up around 11 am. Cleaned our own table with baby wipes. Received two waffles b4 the rest of our meals came. Ordered meat, eggs, and cheese biscuits and when delivered both orders were missing the eggs on the biscuits. Orders were incorrect on 1 plate and had to wait for that to be corrected also. We received our meals AFTER a family of 4 received theirs who came in and ordered after we had. Quite disappointed since the meal costed almost $50 for 2 adults and 2 small children for breakfast. read more

This was awful. I can't speak on the food, because we couldn't even make it in the door. We come to waffle house at least twice a week, because we work late and it's almost always the only thing open. We just suffered a huge disaster (Hurricane Helene), and almost nobody has power or good food. We went to waffle house and the sign on the door said "Reopen at 9:00" so we stood in line with around 20 other customers . A few moments later Andy stepped outside and yelled at us very rudely "if you're waiting, you're wasting your time because we're not reopening" slammed the door and locked it. Even though the sign clearly said "reopen at 9:00". Very disappointed in this establishment. During this time, people should have more compassion. read more

I went to this waffle house expecting to get some grub as always for an OLD MAN to start yapping about how they won't open if we are lined up at the door, he then begins to start screaming his dentures out that I can't have a waffle, I am now severely traumatized because of "Old Man Andys" behavior. The Service was absolutely abysmal, after displaying a sign saying they would open at 9pm, a worker by the name of ANDY, came outside and told everyone that they would not be serving anyone if we lined up prior to opening, because of something that had happened the night prior. NEWS FLASH ANDY, it's not my problem to give a damn about what happened to you the night prior at YOUR JOB. This is YOUR JOB, and YOUR JOB is to serve paying customers who are hungry, want a hot meal, and be DAMN HAPPY doing it. But no, Andy decided to walk outside and address the crowd, telling them they would not be eating, while simultaneously mumbling some jargon under his breath, and at no point during his incoherent rambling did he form anything that even remotely resembled a sentence, and everyone in that line was dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points ANDY, and may God have mercy on your soul. read more

They don't get in a hurry plates laying everywhere took for ever to get waited on SLOW

At first I was a little bit skeptical walking up to it, but once I stepped through the door I was already feeling welcomed and at home. I liked how the kitchen was in the front and open. The chairs were comfortable to sit in. The employees were very nice and patient. And the food was sooo good. The eggs were cooked exactly how I asked them to be cooked. The waffles were moist and delicious. And the bacon was top notch! I would go there all day every day and twice on Sunday! read more

Stopped in for breakfast and a bit of preperation for a business meeting that was early for in Greenwood SC. Ordered the All-Star Special with scrambled eggs (with cheese), hash browns, toast and bacon. Scrambled eggs were perfect! Just the right amount of cheese. Hash browns and bacon were both spot on. When it comes to the toast I think they ration their butter to some Great Depression standard. They only get enough on each slice to make the middle moist and the outside is bone dry. Guess that the one jelly packet provided is supposed to cover 4 slices of bread. (Must have been determined by a physics major who used a laser to portion out the jelly evenly) Staff is really friendly. For a Waffle House this one is actually pretty clean. Will stop by and eat here again the next time I am in Greenwood. read more

Five star is given in Waffle House context! Great, fast and cheap. Folks are friendly and helpful and the eats are good and greasy.

My family and I were having our coffee waiting on our food and were told to move and let other people sit since we we only having our drinks the servers were very rude about this. very rude. read more

The food was as one may expect at any one of the ten thousand or so locations. The bad stuff? OK, there's plenty of that. Yes, the food was decent and didn't make me sick or anything. But the staff is borderline surly. I was there at about 1:30PM on July 14th, 2018. The waitress who (only for identification purposes) was in her 50s, had long braided hair, never once interacted with us directly. Never. The place is spotless and the staff was constantly cleaning as we ate. The meals are up in a wink of the eye. The joint is pricey IMHO. Seven and a half bucks for a couple of pieces of bread, a couple of eggs, some cheese, a couple of pieces of bacon and some hashbrowns is really pricey. I mean the hashbrowns are fin but come on it's less than one potato for crying out loud. The server woman previously described was talking on a cell phone as she served. As she slid my plate across the table I heard her say "I love you" then, shocked, I looked up to notice she was talking on her personal cell as she served us. The thing was tucked under her ear the entire time we interacted as server/customer. A really bad experience. It was my Birthday and I just wanted breakfast/brunch and no hassle. The waitress and staff made us feel like we were intruding on their personal life and space. Whoever serves as the manager is really bad at it. I'll never set foot in this store again. I don't have a lot of Birthdays left and the ones I celebrate should be a decent experience at least. Avoid this joint. read more

Worst experience ever. Ordered patty melt with everything on it, got only toasted bread, patty and a cheese. Small salad consisted of just lettuce. Picked up my coworker's order along with mine and same thing with their order. I don't know who rated this place with 4.5 stars. I know for sure this is my first and last time ordering at this Waffle House. read more
