Well, this place is kinda off the beaten path and I don't know how many regulars they have. My waitress was a bit off and appeared to have a bit of "meth mouth" which is an off movement and stiffness that often comes from either currently or previously abusing the drug. Minus points for standing not far from a customer (me) and talking about how much another customer tips... It was New Year's Day, if I hadn't been on the road I probably wouldn't have eaten here. WORST WAFFLE HOUSE EVER!!!! we pulled up and the smoker outside walked directly in side the restaurant and started cooking food and touching plates and he DIDNT EVEN WASH HIS HANDS also we weren't even out of the car yet before the female workers turned around and started looking at us with the stank eye... so the SECOND we put the car in reverse to pull out in our fancy minivan, she flipped us off. This place deserves to be shut down ASAP. if I could give zero stars or NEGATIVE stars, I would but I'm forced to give this awful place one star read more

Always clean, always friendly! Always consistent in food! Quick to refill drinks. And the restaurant wasn't freezing. This is a stop we make after leaving our son's every visit. read more

Food and service were good, but I gotta knock them for masks. Three staff, cook and waitress wore none, other waitress half-wore hers. All the highway traffic increases exposures and transmissions. read more

We stopped on our way out of town to get breakfast, we love waffle houses. I don't know if he was a manager or just a worker, but we felt like we were being rushed to order, and rushed to pay. He stood behind our table for about half the time we were there, made us feel uncomfortable and outta place. Place wasn't busy, but no need to stand over people while they're eating or having a conversation. Food was good. read more

Not open at 6 am when the signage on the Highway and on the store say's open around the clock. If you can't find help go to 12 hours shift like I work or pay more so you have employees. read more

Staff was defiantly not friendly and there was a roach in my waffle so there's that. Would not recommend.

I came here when my car broke down, I was a whole mess. The ladies in there were so caring and nice! I really appreciate them for that!

I was hungry for pancakes. The menu is very simple, and no pancakes. But I saw waffle irons which says they make them fresh so I got a waffle meal. It was so good and hit the spot. My picky kid cleaned his plate. Friendly staff. Would eat here again read more

Really bad. About 7:30 pm on Saturday night October 5th. I think the cook was mother of the waitress. Both were barely coping. Arlene was waitress and cashier. When we came in she was slumped over the counter and had her face bent down in her hands. After we sat down she ignored us at first. Finally she came and took our order. The place was probably about 1/3 full but it took forever to get our food. Arlene asked us what pieces of silverware we would need which I thought was a strange question. I realized why in a few minutes when mother and daughter started arguing about the silverware not being clean. She had wanted to know which specific pieces we would use so she would have to only wash those for us. She took a long time to check on us when we needed something and when I asked her to heat my grits up as they were barely warm. The rest of my food didn't taste good. Too greasy and some strange taste I couldn't determine. Hash browns were almost burnt. I observed while the cook was working that as she reached overhead to get eggs from a basket that some were broken because raw eggs started dripping down. It made me gag. Couldn't enjoy my food after seeing that. Sometimes the cook took orders as Arlene leaned up against the counter. When we were ready to check out, she ignored us until I finally got her attention. She looked at us like oh I didn't realize you were wanting to check out. During checkout she apologized about "everything". During checkout my sister saw the cook wipe her nose with her food gloves. Gross! The whole time we were there I had noticed a young boy sitting at the counter. I had thought he was a customer. But I noticed at some point the man who had also been at the counter was gone yet the boy remained. He looked to be about 10 - 11 years old. As we were leaving the boy started bussing tables! I think he must have been related to the cook and waitress. Otherwise why would a young boy be employed to bus tables? Why would Waffle House allow such a thing? I have always loved Waffle House and have had good experiences and enjoyed the food. This was a very bad experience. Management you need to seriously look into how this particular store in Clinton SC is being staffed and run and how they treat customers. read more

Starving on the road with a very long trip back to Florida from Tennessee and a whole day in Dollywood we decided to eat here among the other choices that were equally dismal. As expected, the place is full of characters. We sat at the bar so I could see the food being made. The staff were very friendly and attentive so that was good. They cleaned up the working area regularly. I did not see the bug picture until after but thankfully no bugs were witnessed anywhere. I read the reviews about the staff appearing to be drug addicts. While they did seem a little rough they were all there working their JOBS which is more than I can say about half the people I run into down in south Florida so.......Anyway, my cheeseburger and hash brown was good and he enjoyed his pork chops. May I just suggest that the food preparers wear gloves?? That was a bit of a turn off. read more

This place is a joke! Worst Waffle House ever!! Employees spent more time fighting amongst themselves than trying to get anything done. 6 people 'working'. I've had better food and service with only 3 employees that are really working. The sign on the wall says "we're not In the food business, we're in the people business". What a joke! read more

Phones aren't answered to place a Togo orders. Been like that for a while now. Employees are all so mouthy to each other. The employees need to know their attitudes they give off reflects a lot on the place of business. Do better! And the worse one of them all was a the manager on duty. read more

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would...husband wound up wth a bug in his food and the workers argued about it!!!! The bug had even moved around on his plate!!! They said it was hash browns and when they were shown otherwise they started slamming dishes around. Absolutely mortified. Never ever ever would I tell anyone to eat at this establishment read more

This was my 2nd time eating here. The 1st time was last week & was just about perfect. I didn't even notice the old roof. Today after my order was kindly corrected, I devoured my perfectly cooked T-bone steak with gratitude. The staff at this location is wonderful: warm, and kind. Plus, they have their new roof installed. :-) read more
