I could have done without the ice cream, but it made my dessert that much better. The area to order is somewhat narrow, so it could be a tight squeeze if people were also exiting where you order. In addition to waffles and ice cream, I noticed they offer coffee, beer (I saw 3 bottled beers to choose from), and hard alcohol. With a narrow ordering area, I thought the restaurant would be small. In the middle of a shady street right off the main shopping street here. We both had scrambled eggs with bacon set on a delicious potato pancake. So, with one bite you get the whole dish! So good! Good place for big or small hunger :-) Long story: as I live just around the corner I come here pretty often. Cafe Peri offers big tables for families. Now they even have with glass doors separated smoking area, which I find good, because I don't smoke and don't have to breathe it in. On the other hand the smokers don't have to freeze outside in the winter time. I mean, great to motivate them to quit smoking of course, but... hey, they're people too! Kumpir is definitely a highlight of this restaurant. It's enormously huge backed potato with different kind of fillings that you are free to choose from the list.
