We were less…read morethan satisfied with what we found in the area, i.e. very expensive, communication issues - just to name a few. So, we returned to Cornerstone and were very happy with the services for our aging yellow lab. During the exam, Dr. Greene was personable, patient, well skilled and knowledgable, explained and then summarized. The front desk personnel also very helpful. We left feeling truly happy with Cornerstone, once again. Thank you Dr. Greene.

In addition, I have been there with family members to go thru the hard process of putting a sick animal down and the staff there is pretty cold, rude and just not the sort of atmosphere you want to have to do that in. Honestly, I found it rather traumatizing, but I continued to go because I had no other choice. I highly do not recommend this veterarian. Over the years they have had different people, and not many of them have been nice, let alone personable. If you love your pets, take them anywhere else.

Dr. Klemmer and the entire staff worked tirelessly to try and figure out what was going on but unfortunately it was soon determined that he had a mass in his abdomen. The next day we had to make the hard decision to say goodbye. The following month we took our other 11 year old cat, Alex, in for his annual exam with Dr. Klemmer. We explained that we were concerned because he had been vomiting and losing weight lately and she immediately recommended running a senior blood panel on him because the one he'd had in 2022 showed that his thyroid had been borderline overactive - which our previous vet had never told us about. Sure enough, he now has full blown hyperthyroidism. We immediately started on a medication for his thyroid and a prescription kibble for sensitive stomachs and he is back to his usual energetic self and is now at a healthy weight with a glossy coat. Last month we discovered a small lump on his right front leg which we had the surgeons at ORVH remove last week. He is doing very well, and although it did turn out to be a soft tissue sarcoma and may come back down the road we are very confident that with the wonderful doctors and staff like Carl at ORVH he will live to be a sweet old kitty. The best part is that we are now looking forward to bringing a new (adopted) kitty to them in the next few months. Thank you ORVH for everything!!!

Our dog needed a dental cleaning, and it was completed, but for a significantly higher cost than quoted and we had to return for additional extractions not long after. Same issue. The bill was astronomical. Biopsies were taken from the same area on both visits, but we never received results for the second biopsy, and when I called multiple times I was told someone would call me back, which they never did, which leads me to think the specimen was either lost or never taken. I also received a call while my dog was in surgery asking if we wanted to remove healthy teeth. It should be noted here that the price increased per tooth. The most egregious error was, despite a thorough exam before surgery, the fact that our dog was in early stage kidney failure was completely missed. We lost precious early intervention time and unfortunately we lost him three weeks ago. They claimed he had Addisons disease, but there was never any follow up or a treatment plan aside from the vet telling me "These dogs are hungry as hell". All in all, I regret bringing our lovely boy here, and we will absolutely not be returning with any future pets.

She was incredible and the service was impeccable, personal and so much consideration and love was shown to my furbabies (bunnies, cats, dogs). Dr Mahoney cared for and helped us make final arrangements for 5 of our beloved animals that had all lived long healthy lives. We were disappointed upon her retirement, however, as fate would have it when our last lab needed help crossing the rainbow bridge Dr Mahoney happened to be covering for vacations...I think my Bailey needed her comfort and compassion. As new ownership has taken over we were initially satisfied with the attention and care of our pets. However, there have been mistakes which we took in stride, canceled last minute appointments, which we understand, things come up, but recently we were treated with such unprofessionalism over ordering our heart worm medicine online that we have decided to change practices. Customer service is everything and when the face and voice of your business does not have it, its very unfortunate.

They all have true compassion for what they do on a daily basis. I've brought 8 furbabies there spanning their full life. First shots to euthanasia. Large breed dogs and domestic cats. They handled my emergencies/ surgeries as needed. Over the past 18 months +/- during this pandemic it has been rough on everyone and every industry that I know of. I even found myself second guessing not being able to physically see the hands on. It has been hard. But they are SO GOOD. They are there when you truly need them with the correct answers, the most compassionate nature, time and tissues if needed. I'm very appreciative of their abilities and compassion.
