This place is horrible. They recently did my crown, and it wasn't properly put it my teeth. Thus, making it fall less than two months after the procedure, ripping out root of my tooth as well. When I told them, they didn't take any ownership and acted as if it's a common occurrence. First, the office manager offered me to refund the money ($800), but then denied to do so once brought up again. Furthermore, when I called to discuss the money he hung up on me. The office is dirty, and they dropped tools on my face as well. I honestly think if you see this office, you should run away. read more

Getting my 20 yr old bridge replaced and they made and put a temp on my teeth and wow! Looks better than my old crown. How exciting. They have been doing a great job cleaning my and my husband's teeth for two yrs now. The do the full cleaning unlike pennys in Oceanside or VCC. This place truly cares for your teeth. Front office staff is nice and great at communicating appts and reminding you. We traveled 45 min to go here but live closer now. I'd travel an hour for such great care. read more

If you have Med-i-cal don't waste your time. This Dentist does not like caring for patients with Med-i-cal. She actually made it a point to tell me how little she's compensated for her services. After investing my time and hers, she cut me off as a patient because I was 3 minutes late for my appointment. This Dentist is extremely inflexible. This office is negative and prejudice towards it's patients. I am usually a positive person and do not like to post negative reviews, however I feel I owe it to the consumer to know the truth. This family run dental group are friendly, always available and even have helped my out of state family when there was an emergency. I've had 5 dentists in my life and Dr. Kaur is hands down the best and most experienced doctor I've ever had! She explains what she is doing very cordially and very simply. She is flawless in everything she does, from administering the anesthetics to the grinding to the fillings. I've come 3 times so far and its been a completely painless experience. If she worked on cars, she would be the best auto body mechanic! She is so methodical and precise and she makes it look easy!! I have had good experiences with this office, however I am very disappointed to say that the way they treated my sister today was not acceptable. She is on medi cal and was treated terribly. They were rude to her, were withholding of information and options and assumed that she cannot afford to have anything done. How do they know if she has someone helping financially or not. Very disappointing as I specifically recommended wadia dental because they have always been so kind and gentle when I have gone there. My sister has very hi anxiety about going to the dentist and so she has avoided it for too long. She now needs a lot of dental work done and needs patience and kindness. Yesterday was my first trip to Wadia dental. I work a couple doors down and have been recommended to them by a bunch of my customers. I haven't been to the dentist in years and was getting desperate. Dr. Wadia was soooo thurough with everything. He went through my ex rays tooth by tooth, and explained everything to me so I could understand. The work I needed is very reasonable in price unlike other dentists who try and sell you things you don't really need. Then we got to work it was painless he had the perfect touch. Before stepping through the doors of Wadia Dental Group, I had avoided the dentist for nearly 8 or 9 years due to reoccurring panic attacks I've had due to my weird phobia of novicane. They were the first dentists to listen to my fears and not only take them into consideration, but they also helped me through each appointment despite how much of a mess I was. They even recommend a few things to stop me from having those panic attacks. They also have a fabulous staff that knew me by name after only one visit. They helped me lay out and understand a good plan according to my insurance. I highly recommend this dental group to others who are looking for terrific dental care. Dr. Wadia and the staff are very professional as well as very helpful to any questions I had. Whenever I have any dental pain or discomfort, it is assessed thoroughly with helpful advice on what to do next. For example, I had a sensitive left mauler that would send painful shocks whenever I ate cold temp food. They provided me with what was wrong and why as well as what I could do to solve this problem. Gentle brushing was needed and a new toothpaste. Problem solved. Dr. Wadia provides exceptional care for her patients. I had bad experiences with dentist of the past and dreaded it. I've been going to Dr. Wadia's dental group for about a year now. They do a great job and really tsk care of your teeth and needs, I love the receptionist, she always remembers my name and makes me feel welcomed and at home. They do efficient work and the office is very clean. Only thing I'd say regarding the ambiance is they could add more pictures to look at or music to help lighten the stress and discomfort of getting teeth work done, there is an assistant there (can't recall her name) who at times seems to rush through things and isn't as gentle or seemingly caring as the main staff and front desk hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. I have had extensive dental work in the past. Some of it good and some of it bad. When I came to Wadia Dental Group 5 years ago, Dr. Wadia treated me with care and compassion. She repaired many of my failing older cavities and crowns. Dr. Jaz Wadia is currently working on placing implants where 2 of my front teeth have broken off. They are both great dentist. Their office help are wonderful from the dental assistants to the receptionists. I have always felt welcomed and am always treated warmly. They do great work. read more

Dr. Wadia (the son) shot me up with so much Novacaine, my jaw hung like a brick for hours. He acted like he didn't know what he was doing and yelled at his assistant. The equipment didn't work and I had to be moved to another room. I do not feel safe there. read more

I have been going to Wadia Dental Group for 6 years. Dr. Junia Wadia has always been very thorough, professional and kind. I have had many crowns and a couple of root canals done. Last fall, two of my front teeth broke off at the gum. Dr. Junia recommended I see Dr. Jasveen Wadia. Dr. Jas has been great! He pulled the roots of the broken teeth out, did extensive gum grafts (as I did not have much bone density) and now I am waiting to have my implants done. Dr. Wadia (the son) was super nice, explained the plan, got to know me a bit. First and foremost thank you Susana for getting me in today. I called and told Susana (front office gal) that I was referred to them by Dr Shahhal due to her office being closed till 7/11. I was having extreme pain on #2 tooth BLAH!! Dr Wadia was very nice and didn't mess around she referred me to a local Endodontist and even gave me a prescription for the pain in case he couldn't see me right away. I had scheduled my appointment here prior to finding out I was pregnant. When I told them I was they were annoyed they couldn't do x-rays and were pretty rude about a heart murmur I had because they had to look into whether or not I required prophylactic antibiotics even though I knew the up to date information. They also claimed that I had gum disease when I did not, and didn't even do a very through job cleaning my teeth. Waste of time to be treated rudely and not even be cleaned properly. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars but I will have to do with just one. I have had a lot of dental work over the years and this was by far my worst experience. I felt like I was treated like a second-class citizen or like I was bothering them when I would ask questions. I was not given all my treatment options for my missing teeth, I'm assuming because they thought I couldn't afford it. When I brought up implants, and asked why I wasn't given that option (which btw would be the best choice) i was just told that option was very expensive. I am not sure why they think they know what I can afford. I felt like they shamed me about the state my teeth were in and even found myself apologizing to them because I felt so shameful. I came to see them with what I would consider an emergency situation with my teeth and yet after four visits still had made no progress. I left two of my appointments in tears because I felt like I had been treated so poorly and was so frustrated with the lack of care and lack of progress. I even had a sit down with Dr. Wadia to try to explain my concerns and why I was so upset and she seemed to understand, she apologized, and said that she wanted to help me. I left feeling better and feeling like I had been heard, when I showed up for my next appointment ready to finally get some work done she told me that she couldn't see me and that I should find a different dentist. I would just like to say that I am not a complainer, I've never left a negative review,and leaving appointments crying is not a normal occurrence for me. This was more extreme then I am really able to convey through this review. I just hope to save others from being treated the way was. I would like to say that there is one positive. One of the lady's who works at the front desk, with short blonde hair (I wish I knew her name, but I wouldn't want to cause her trouble at work) was so kind, she hugged me, brought me tissues when I cried and even took me to the side and said she was proud of me for standing up for myself to the Dr., her kindness was greatly appreciated. BTW After I moved on from this nightmare I tried my sons dentist (Dental express, in Point Loma) wich I thought was just for kids, it's not. The care has been stellar, their so kind, the work I've gotten done has been great, they get me in quickly, they are fantastic. read more

I know many of us have "the fear" of the dentist, I haven't been to the dentist in two years due to money and not really wanting to go anyways. But I am so glad I stumbled into this dental office and met the people here. They put me at such ease that I wanted to give them a hug! When you have a dentist that truly seems to care about your health and you can tell they love what they are doing, it just makes the appointment that much easier. I have been here more than once and they never wanted to do anything else to my teeth like "drilling" or what other dentists claim they want to do for absolutely no reason. No one wants to get drilled on when they don't have to, or even if they do have to for that matter. I have had nothing but great experiences here. I have had a ton of previous dental work throughout the years because I have my moms bad teeth, so it is comforting that they don't want to do extra work and still treat you well. It gets even better! My first visit was in 2010, when my teeth were nearly unpresentable. Dr. Wadia changed all of that. As well as changing my ridiculous fear of dentists. The Dr. and her staff have a way of making you feel completely comfortable. Which is one of the main reasons why I chose to keep coming back. After a few months of basic dental work and much needed crowns (and optional veneers) my teeth became picture perfect and an incredible confidence booster but most of all, they STILL look as amazing as the day I got them. I've never met a dentist with such incredible focus. At no point did I ever feel over-charged, or have second thoughts about my veneers (other than why didn't I get more). Dr. Wadia makes sure that YOU are satisfied when it comes to cosmetic repairs. I'm assuming it's due to the fact that the work is going to last a very long time. I was VERY impressed with the office, staff and atmosphere of Wadia Dental. My first impression was of a clean, well lit, peaceful and orderly office. The front office staff was polite and helpful. We arrived on time for the appointment and were seen promptly after completing the paperwork. I brought my special-needs daughter in for x-rays and a cleaning. We viewed the website together before going to the appointment and the photos helped her know what to expect when we arrived. (We also watched some YouTube Videos on childrens' dental visits for x-rays and cleaning... these definitely helped lessen her anxiety.) She is not an "easy" patient, but Dr. Jasveen Wadia and his assistants were great! Dr. Wadia carefully explained each part of the procedures, was patient, thorough and made my daughter feel comfortable and relaxed. This is the most successful dental visit my daughter has ever had.
