Thank you Greg Shanfeld. Your thorough, knowledgeable, and ethical approach to my case has improved the quality of life for myself and my son for years to come. You and your staff always treated me respectfully and listened to my concerns throughout the process. I am a single mother, my son is autistic, I've been teaching for 20 years. 2 years ago, I finally qualified to buy my own home. The home was a fixer-upper, but within my budget. Soon after I bought my home, I was contacted by a contractor. The contractor claimed that the health of my son and myself was being impacted by toxic mold. I took out a home improvement loan in order to pay for the mold treatment and replacement of bathroom fixtures. Ultimately, it turned out that the work was not needed. I was duped and deep in debt. I called a bankruptcy lawyer in Palmdale, CA. We met and he said that he could help. Several days later, I contacted the Palmdale lawyer and told him I was ready to declare bankruptcy. His response was that he had chosen not to take me on as a client. I was devastated. Then, I contacted Wadhwani & Shanfeld. They did an over the phone intake interview, and I scheduled an appointment to meet with Greg Shanfeld. He explained all of the necessary documents that I would need to provide. I e-mailed him the information and he filled out all of the forms that were provided to the court. We met to examine the accuracy of the forms and then he filed the paperwork. The process went smoothly and we stayed in contact throughout the case. Ultimately, I was granted a discharge of my debts. My son and I still live in my house. I can afford groceries, gas, clothing, and a comfortable lifestyle that is no longer controlled by my fear of debt. I'm living within my means. Thank you again Wadhwani & Shanfeld for the service you provided in my time of need. read more
