The kilns! Ohhhh my, the kilns. I have kiln envy, mine is small... and old.... they have all the kilns! It's really is spectacular to see how advanced this program is. And i met one of the other students while I was there! Love the tiny bit of the school I was able to see. And the campus is crazy. That stadium smack in the middle!

His teachers were incredible all three years he was there. Hands on experiences, chorus, STEAM, Spanish, art and P.E. The principal Mrs. Fitzgerald sets the bar high and leads by example. She stands outside at morning drop off every day to greet the kids by name. If you have the opportunity to send your child there, I highly recommend Green Charter Elementary School. ADHD friendly PTO volunteer opportunities helped me to feel connected to this school. I especially liked volunteering in the garden, career day, and watching the lunch room occasionally.

The creator has a strong vision for what she hopes the school will be. They used to be located at evangel cathedral and so this is their first year here in this building. They have more than doubled in size. They offer classes from kindergarten through 10th grade. If they communicated better one on one, I would give it a higher score. but as it is, they find excuses to respond to parent concerns (powerschool is down and we couldn't find the physical paperwork for the parent). They're quick to tout all the great things they're doing - and they are - but they remove the concerns parents post on their FB page and they won't answer the phone or return calls to parents calling up there. they also don't provide lockers for older kids. Teacher even said that it's not a priority, as her child didn't seem to have a problem with it last year. Well, I guess if her child didn't have a problem, then that speaks for all kids, huh?
