Rutty Air Conditioning is extraordinary. I normally don't…read moredo business recommendations because very few meet my high expectations. I'm a perfectionist and expect the same for my money. Chad Rutty is amazing and went far beyond what most other business owners would do. 2,000 miles away, with renters in my Groves, TX home, I called him and said my a/c was out. In the middle of a heat wave, he dropped everything and immediately went to restore air for the third time in three years. My a/c unit was original to my home, built in 1998. Rutty has kept it running for me, but we decided it was time to replace the unit rather that feeding money into a 24 year old unit. I'm still 2,000 miles away and couldn't even get a check to him. He trusted me to pay him, and didn't let the family in my home suffer for a day. His service is exemplary.

If you need an Air conditioning company in the golden triangle...there is only one place you should…read morecall! That place is REED AIR SERVICE COMPANY. I have been having trouble with my HVAC system for over 2 yrs now. I have had over 4 different well known air companies look at it, but no one fixed the problem. Reed took care of it. The price was about 650$. Then we asked where the leak was because it's a little ridiculous to do that without knowing where the leak was. So we got a leak detection price. $1350.00. I almost croaked. We asked them to leave and called another company. Their leak price is $100.00 and will come off the price if they do the repair. Worse part is it was for my daughter so if I wasn't there what would have happened. Last week they told her she needed a new unit. Oh and she has a service contract with them. Canceled that too. Highly unethical to try to rip of a young lady.

The guy came (45 minutes late) and cut the HvAC tape on the unit and said that it needed to be cleaned, but it was $1000 per unit. It was also another $69 to check the second unit upstairs. He closed the system up, did NOT put the tape back on and charged me the $69 for telling me what I ALREADY knew. Waste of time and money. BTW... $30 in materials and 45 minutes, we cleaned the coils out ourselves. You can buy coil spray and a water pump to rinse it. Also a fin repair tool pulled everything else out. I won't be calling them again. Oh and $8 for a roll of the tape to replace what he did NOT.
