Instead, the…read moreexperience was full of pressure tactics, misleading pricing, and missing parts after installation. When their technician came out, a salesperson joined him. What should have been a repair visit quickly turned into a sales pitch. I was told my system wasn't worth fixing and that repairs would cost thousands with no guarantee. When I asked about less expensive options, they claimed only one other system existed and it was barely cheaper. They said the Lennox system was my "best value," even though other licensed contractors had already quoted me similar systems for much less. After back-and-forth calls with a "manager," they finally agreed to match a prior quote around $18,700, including a full Lennox setup with UV light, filtration, and new refrigerant line sets. Based on that representation, I moved forward. The installation proved they never intended to honor that agreement. * They installed a cheap off-brand UV system instead of the Lennox equipment listed. * They reused my old refrigerant line set, even though replacing it was part of the deal. * When questioned, they claimed those parts "weren't included because of a discount," which was never mentioned in writing. * The paperwork they issued afterward omitted major details and downplayed the system's issues. This company's conduct was deceptive from start to finish. They misrepresented pricing, substituted cheaper materials, and failed to deliver the agreed-upon system. The professionalism stopped the moment they received payment. If you value honesty and transparency, find another HVAC company. Advanced Air Home Services relies on high-pressure sales and vague paperwork that leaves homeowners exposed. I would never recommend them to anyone.

The first electrician came out with the panel, worked for a few hours and said he was leaving and didn't know when he could come back. The next day I called their offices to see when they were rescheduling him. They didn't know he had left the job undone. Fortunately, I did have electric. A few days later a different electrician came out and finished the job. In the meantime, I realized that they hadn't obtained a permit for the panel--something that is required under Florida law. They tried to tell me that if I wanted one I would have to pay an additional $250. My husband was an electrical engineering and my father built houses. I know that permits are there to make sure the work is done correctly and to have an unrelated person inspect the work. After I reported them to the State of Florida, they obtained the permit (it cost them $50). Then the inspector came out and found several things wrong with the installation, including that there were exposed wires. The company sent a different electrician out to correct the errors; he finished marking the panel for which breakers applied to which circuits. In the process he covered up the related numbers; so to figure out which numbers applied to which breakers I had to count each breaker. Unfortunately, I had a breaker blow (my fault on this one) but when I tried to reset it, nothing happened. So I called a different company to, I thought, replace an outlet. Turned out it cost me $65 to have him flip what appeared to be a totally unrelated breaker. It was labelled Outlet Lights, not Microwave as it should have been. I'm exhausted and leery of anything that happens with my electric. Somehow I have to figure out how to identify and relabel the breakers.

Response time to my emails was literally right away or an hour at max. When Allan came out to do the estimate, he was cordial and easy to get along with. He took photos and gave me a realistic best case scenario cost and also a worst case scenario. The worst case cost was even reasonable. He was very upfront with everything. Also they give military and senior discounts. Tony came out to do the work and arrived on time and was also very nice. He got to work very quickly and finished everything in two hours. I had an outside outlet created, where one prior did not exist. I also had a outlet installed where one was not but it had a box for it. The last thing Tony did was put a light on an outside pole, including new piping and fittings for the wires, and an new electrical outlet. All outlets are GFI. I couldn't be any happier with the service I received from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them to any one.

I called their number, was routed around and eventually spoke with Samantha at Mr. Electric. She stated that they only do work on existing properties and that the call was forwarded by a call routing service that sounded like "ellcal". Since they do not perform work on new home construction, it would have saved time if they had just stated that they do not perform electrical work for new home construction. Even after informing them of that in the project chat, they stated that they still required me to call them to talk in more detail (even though they just told me on the phone that they won't perform the work). Very frustrating engagement experience.
