This included a session and 25 photos. When trying to schedule the session and location after having to pay full amount way prior to the session I found myself chasing her down to try and nail down the information. She was slow to respond but I tried to be understanding even though I have never had this issue with any other photographer. Finally, the session was done and I was promised pics in 3 weeks because she was going on a trip. I said no problem. It took about 8 weeks to get them and again this was me sending several emails asking where they were. When I finally got the link for the photos I checked off my 25 favorites that were included with my purchase and asked that those be edited a tad because of cars in the background and heavy shadows before I purchased canvases for family. Again, emailed several several times requesting this, and asked how can I download the 25 photos that require a pin which I was never provided. Still no response of any kind! So now I am forced to buy not such great photos because of cars in the background and etc, and I still cannot download my 25 photos that I already paid for! I am not going to pay 2x for a download. bTW 1 download of a pic is $65!! So a pretty big deal for me to get my 25 downloads I already paid for! This really sucks because this was a gift to my MIL for her 65th birthday. It has been 20 years since the last family photo. Now this. :( This has been an awful experience and needless to say I will never use her again.

I couldn't speak more highly of Thaddeus and his work as a photographer. Not only is he a true…read moreartist, but he's professional, magnetic, funny, and affable. Getting one's headshots done can feel scary. I was nervous going into it, but the minute I arrived all my guards came down because Thaddeus made me feel safe and secure, sexy and beautiful. He is a natural born teacher and taught me so much prior to the shoot about what was expected of me. For example, coming prepared is his number one request. When booking with Thad you're entering into a symbiotic relationship where both of you contribute. My headshot experience was unique in that what I wanted to achieve was two-fold: to get business and actor headshots (both theatrical & commercial). During our initial consultation I learned from Thad that in my case, I would be playing three roles for the shoot: the talent, artistic director, and fashion stylist. In order for me to succeed at the latter two Thad gave me a step-by-step guide: I needed to create a Pinterest board, identify outfits that inspired me, pull looks from my own closet, print inspo pictures and pair them with each of my looks, and of course hang my clothing and transport them in garment bags. It may sound like a lot of work, and it is, but it is so worth it bc Thaddeus will come just as prepared if not more with his own work completed (photography-wise) not to mention his years of experience and countless stories on the job including glamorous tales and wildly funny tribulations (the kind that enough time has passed for one to be able to laugh at them) from his time in NYC. Also, as I said, my photoshoot was unique as I was responsible for the preparations. Typically, Thaddeus is hired for major commercial shoots or fashion magazines where there are whole teams of people hired to assist. Not only did he teach me how to prepare, but Thaddeus also gave me the gift of directing me throughout my shoot. Having stepped away from the acting world to build my business experience, I felt a little rusty. My thoughts included, "Do I have what it takes? Will I still have the acting chops? Am I good, capable, or pretty enough?" The answer was yes to all. I had everything I needed inside me for the shoot to be a success and I give Thaddeus credit for bringing it out in me. Since I have begun this diatribe, I'll explain. Currently, as a 33-year-old woman, I am on a journey to know and fall in love with myself, believing in myself all on my own. And that's why my photoshoot was so powerful. Thaddeus believed in me before I did. He did so because he cares and that's evident in him contributing his art, his photography, and his good and wise nature to the world. Thaddeus' standards of excellence are so high that you will see it and feel it the moment you meet him, the moment you walk into his convivial, clean, professional photography studio you will know you're in the right place. My first experience with Allen Tsai was when he photographed my sister's wedding. My sister…read moreherself, is a photographer. The second time I heard his name was at my best friend's wedding. HER photographer had also used Allen Tsai for her wedding. I decided to take some time and followed Allen's presence on social media and the internet. Turns out he's VERY decorated and has been featured a lot in publications. His clients are worldwide, and all the photographers I respect want HIM for the THEIR weddings. If he's the professional that all the other professionals use, I knew I was never going to entertain any other photographer. The second I got engaged, I told my wedding planner we had to secure Allen. And that's what we did. THANK GOD because it takes a special photographer to handle everything an everyone that was, My Wedding. I got married in Downtown Dallas and my wedding had very "city" vibes. I didn't want to have every "conventional" wedding party shot, and so I had tasked Allen with the burden of making my wedding photos look like "something off the cover of Vanity Fair." Not typically his route for weddings, and also confined to a VERY tight timeline, somehow, Allen was able to execute my vision. More than that, every shot from the reception is PERFECT. The lighting was consistent in every shot (and let me tell you, the lights from the stage and darkness of the room was all over the place that night). He captured beautiful portraits, but also grabbed very intimate moments between myself and my husband, our friends, and our family - shots that we didn't know anyone was watching. The photos were edited and turned in record time (amazing considering he shoots digitally AND in film) and the gallery of proofs was enormous. This was so important because I've heard HORROR stories from friends whose galleries were pitifully small since the photographer didn't have very good content to return. The gallery is easy to use navigate and he even offers printing services (huge if your local pharmacy does a bad job with prints). Here is my biggest jaw-drop of the experience: Allen worked alone. My wedding had around 225 guests and you would have thought (based on the photos) that he had at least two assistants. Finally, Allen is also just awesome to work with. He's kind and dedicated to his craft, and he is so respectful and polite. He rocked my wedding and I'm so glad we hired him.

He gives plenty of direction in terms of body placement, posture, hand placement, etc. to give you flawless photos. At the same time, he creates a very calm, light, and fun atmosphere that creates true, genuine moments between you and your significant other. We are two people that usually feel very uncomfortable in front of a camera, however we had such an enjoyable experience with Allen. 3. I really encourage anyone using Allen's services to listen to his recommendations. For example, our original scheduled date was cloudy and overcast. He recommended that we wait for sun if we truly wanted to be happy with our photos. We are so grateful to have listened to him, because the results were wonderful (see attached). There are other photographers that will say that cloudy weather is actually better, however with Allen's technique and skill set, he can do incredible things with the light. ***Best of the Best***…read more Oh my gosh, I happened upon this local photographer and couldn't be more pleased! I saw her super cute portfolio and was in love. We were in a bind just before the holidays, and Sarah made time to squeeze us in. Her pricing was great, especially compared to other area photographers, and she was local. All bonuses in selecting a photographer. Once I met Sarah, I quickly realized that she was warm, friendly and humorous with us and our kids. Totally needed for family photos, especially if you want some photos with laughter and real life emotion. In advance, she asked us specifically what we were looking for, and on the day of the event, she was prepared with a few props (although I also brought some of my own), and she whipped it all together for a way better plan than I'd imagined. I wanted some natural setting photos, not super posed. And she got us laughing, and captured the moment. She even had some creative poses that turned out CRAZY cute. Those turned out to be my favorites. And all her photos, have become my most treasured family photography yet. She comes armed with some nice photography equipment (i'm no expert), but the lenses definitely looked pretty spectacular. When photographing us, she maneuvered quickly to capture just about every angle, and every photo came out ridiculously crisp with FABULOUS lighting, and even some delicious bokeh. We went to her, but she's mobile and will come to the location of your choice. I can't imagine a much better setting though, than her neighborhood around Bear Creek Park. Fall photos come out great with tons of leaves, and changing colors. Spring and Summer are green as green can be. All perfect for some gorgeous outdoor photos. I usually hate myself in photos, but thank goodness for Photoshop, as she did some very natural photo editing that made the photos absolute perfection. Her edited photos were super speedy in reaching my email inbox. She leverages a secure online system to provide me access to download my high resolution photos. Easy peasy! And without even requesting, she sent me a few goodies for the following holiday, to use in social media. Seriously, could she be more awesome? Who does this? Love her! When we moved here, I was totally overwhelmed with finding the right family photographer. Thankfully I found Sarah, and and from here on out, she's officially our family photographer. Her business and photography matches my style and my budget, and the end product will always be gorgeous, lasting, photo memories of my most precious people.

I hired Jolan Jade Photography after reviewing her beautiful online portfolio, which showcased thoughtfully styled newborn portraits, professional posing, and a variety of creative compositions. Unfortunately, the photographs I received were vastly different from the quality and variety advertised. I paid $600 for a gallery consisting largely of repetitive photographs, nearly identical overhead angles, and minimal variation in posing or composition. Many of the images were essentially duplicates with slightly different facial expressions. The difference between her advertised portfolio and the actual work delivered was incredibly disappointing. What made this experience even more frustrating was the lack of professionalism. When I expressed my concerns, rather than acknowledging the significant differences in quality, she attributed the results to my son's age and size, the lighting in my home, and even complained about my nanny. For context, this is my third child and my third experience with professional newborn and childhood photography. I am very familiar with how these sessions work and what to reasonably expect. I have had the same nanny and the same lighting conditions in my home during previous photography sessions without experiencing these issues. Furthermore, my husband, sister, and nanny were all present during the session, and all three commented afterward on how unprofessional they found her conduct. Unfortunately, I wasn't present for the entire session, but hearing the same concerns from three people who witnessed it was incredibly disappointing. I also provided my son's exact age and measurements before booking. If his age, size, or the conditions in my home would significantly limit the photographer's ability to produce work comparable to her advertised portfolio, I believe those concerns should have been communicated beforehand rather than used as explanations afterward. Newborn photographs are irreplaceable memories. These are moments you cannot recreate, and choosing a photographer is an important decision built on trust, professionalism, and the quality of work they advertise. My disappointment goes far beyond simply disliking a few photographs. It is the substantial discrepancy between the work advertised and delivered, the lack of variety and attention to detail, and the overall experience. I strongly encourage other parents to request complete, recent client galleries rather than relying solely on the carefully selected photographs displayed on a website. After three children and three professional photography experiences, this was by far my most disappointing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this photographer.
