I couldn't speak more highly of Thaddeus and his work as a photographer. Not only is he a true artist, but he's professional, magnetic, funny, and affable. Getting one's headshots done can feel scary. I was nervous going into it, but the minute I arrived all my guards came down because Thaddeus made me feel safe and secure, sexy and beautiful. He is a natural born teacher and taught me so much prior to the shoot about what was expected of me. For example, coming prepared is his number one request. When booking with Thad you're entering into a symbiotic relationship where both of you contribute. My headshot experience was unique in that what I wanted to achieve was two-fold: to get business and actor headshots (both theatrical & commercial). During our initial consultation I learned from Thad that in my case, I would be playing three roles for the shoot: the talent, artistic director, and fashion stylist. In order for me to succeed at the latter two Thad gave me a step-by-step guide: I needed to create a Pinterest board, identify outfits that inspired me, pull looks from my own closet, print inspo pictures and pair them with each of my looks, and of course hang my clothing and transport them in garment bags. It may sound like a lot of work, and it is, but it is so worth it bc Thaddeus will come just as prepared if not more with his own work completed (photography-wise) not to mention his years of experience and countless stories on the job including glamorous tales and wildly funny tribulations (the kind that enough time has passed for one to be able to laugh at them) from his time in NYC. Also, as I said, my photoshoot was unique as I was responsible for the preparations. Typically, Thaddeus is hired for major commercial shoots or fashion magazines where there are whole teams of people hired to assist. Not only did he teach me how to prepare, but Thaddeus also gave me the gift of directing me throughout my shoot. Having stepped away from the acting world to build my business experience, I felt a little rusty. My thoughts included, "Do I have what it takes? Will I still have the acting chops? Am I good, capable, or pretty enough?" The answer was yes to all. I had everything I needed inside me for the shoot to be a success and I give Thaddeus credit for bringing it out in me. Since I have begun this diatribe, I'll explain. Currently, as a 33-year-old woman, I am on a journey to know and fall in love with myself, believing in myself all on my own. And that's why my photoshoot was so powerful. Thaddeus believed in me before I did. He did so because he cares and that's evident in him contributing his art, his photography, and his good and wise nature to the world. Thaddeus' standards of excellence are so high that you will see it and feel it the moment you meet him, the moment you walk into his convivial, clean, professional photography studio you will know you're in the right place. You will rise to the level of excellence Thaddeus exudes because you won't be able to deny its surrounding power and presence. I came to Thaddeus because I needed professional shots for my online brand. He was incredibly easy to get in touch with, understand exactly what I was looking for and set up a shoot within a couple of days. He even provided a make-up artists, Angel, who did WONDERS. Thaddeus Harden is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were looking for a place to get maternity photos taken. We have had engagement photos done but never anything in a studio where I would be exposing more of myself than I'm used to. I found his place on the Internet and looked through his gallery shots. I loved them - the creativity, the lighting, and how well the women looked in them. I called the photography place to see how much a package price would be and Thaddeus immediately picked up. I knew one minute into the conversation that I would like this guy to take our photos. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I didn't know what to wear, how I would pose, and I was nervous about the whole process, but Thaddeus immediately put me at ease. We kept in contact over the next few days via phone and text and he gave my husband and I a bunch of ideas of what to wear and how the shoot would go. When we arrived at his studio we were directed to a room where he helped us look at all of our clothes and decide what we would wear. I loved his balance of his ideas and mine. When I was stumped or had no clue what to wear, he jumped right in with his ideas, which helped me greatly! His wife was extremely accommodating and provided us with water, an amazing decaf espresso, and fruit and cheese to snack on during our shoot!! Thaddeus was extremely professional. I felt very comfortable wearing very little cover in some of the shoots (you can, by the way, wear as much or as little as you like). After each picture was taken, I was able to immediately see it on the screen. I could immediately give my opinion, which was nice. The first few pictures he showed us how he could edit the picture with different lighting or how he would remove blemishes. I loved this part because you could really see how the pictures would turn out. Thaddeus was very patient and he was always so positive during the entire experience. After we took many pictures and had various wardrobe changes, my husband and I went through the pictures and immediately decided which ones we liked or didn't like. Once we narrowed it down he sent us a link, which we could look at in our home and further narrow down our choices if we wanted. Literally the next day he sent us two edited shots that we absolutely loved! A few days after that he sent more and we were able to say what we liked or wanted to change about them. I have never had a photographer that has had a turnaround time that fast! Do not hesitate a second to go with Thaddeus Photography!
