This is the second time I've had headshots done by Peter at the summit, and this year's photos are even better than last year's. Even though it was a complimentary service, Peter took his time and showed great care in capturing a variety of shots so I'd have great options. He even let me review the photos before I walked away, which gave me confidence right away that they were going to turn out great. He later emailed several proofs, and I was able to choose the one I liked best. The final photo turned out amazing. I highly recommend!

If you sign up for the emails, they have little specials often. Like a 30 minute session for $20 for 1 free digital photo. Adding on extra photos cost per photo. (We did an Easter special that happened to be during her 9 months that we tacked on) They also offer printed and canvas photos. They have a small wardrobe. I believe mostly maternity, but some children's outfits. We donated one of our girl's outfits. The photographer at the 3 months seemed fresh on the job and her skills lacked. The 2nd photographer at the 6 months, Lindsey was talented. We requested her for our 9 months. She wasn't still there when we came back for our 12 months. The owner herself took our photos, and they where beautiful too. I am an armature photographer myself, and took a few courses in college. Wasn't my passion, but I have a bit of a picky eye now. The owners style was nice, meh on the editing. I had some spanks showing in a photo I wish they edited out. I still bought that photo. I really liked Lindsey and wish they kept her. Her interaction with us and our kid was awesome. Her photo style and backdrop/ prop ideas was also amazing. She tried ideas and suggestions I had. Let me see her screen to decide if I want to retake a pose or move on. Fixed little things she saw through the lens that I didn't notice while trying to get my kid to smile/ giggle. We did go back at the end of the year and added on $300 worth of extra photos that didn't come in our package.

I hired this photographer with genuine hope for a smooth and professional experience, but the results unfortunately fell short of what I expected. Most of the photos had lighting issues, several poses were awkward, a few shots had eyes closed, sometimes my husband and I were not even looking at the camera, my hair was messed up, and in multiple photos, my dress strap had slipped down my arm without being noticed. These may seem like small details, but they make a big difference in the final images, and I was disappointed they were not caught during the session. A professional photographer would have properly fixed hair, poses, and made sure everyone was looking at the camera at the very least. Pricing also became a concern. I was originally quoted 150 dollars for a 45-minute session. Once it was mentioned that the photos were for a wedding, even though it was a very small and informal one, the price increased to 418 dollars with tax. I was surprised by how drastic the change was. There was an additional option to have the photos edited for 80 dollars, which I chose not to pursue due to the already high cost. As a graphic designer who works with photo correction daily, I knew that the issues in the images would require extensive adjustments and, in some cases, might not be realistically fixable. High-quality photos are the foundation for good edits, and in this case, I felt the images needed much more than simple retouching to achieve a professional result. I shared my concerns with the photographer over the course of a week and requested a 50 percent refund, which I felt was reasonable given the overall quality of the photos. She did offer a refund, but only for 25 percent. This felt unfair, especially since the photos were not usable and I could not recreate such an important, once-in-a-lifetime moment. Overall, I left the experience feeling disappointed, and I would certainly choose a different photographer in the future.
