Also, I just looked over the past emails with Sam, and his resultant Bill. At this point, I don't see us working together. I am incredibly disappointed in your firm. I paid the invoice that was sent to me of approx. $1500. I would appreciate if you would split the amount I have paid to your firm and would hope it would seem appropriate for a refund 50% of it, as other than sending me bills to pay, I have received zero usable work product from you. I am never one to question how people spend their hours, but I am 100% certain that the earth is scorched and here I am with empty hands, an empty wallet, and an IRS filing that I paid to have submitted, that was apparently never sent. One of their office employees told us they had spent a lot of time working on the account and expressed displeasure over our decision to move the funds because they had essentially wasted their time on us. Not ideal when we are grieving the loss of a family member. I would recommend you to consider moving funds away from them if they currently manage your portfolio and to stay away if you are considering them.
